Jasmine was completely stunned.

She knew Li Wei would get first place.

But she hadn’t expected him to get so many credit points.

He had actually earned 32 credit points.

Second place only had 14.5 credit points.

Compared to previous results, that was a pretty good score.

But it wasn’t even half of Li Wei’s.

Jasmine fell silent for a mont. With a swipe of her finger, several lines of Magic Texts materialized in mid-air.

Kulu looked up and found his own na in third place.

He was a bit annoyed. He had taken second place last ti and didn’t expect his rank to drop.

’Who got first place this ti?’

He looked up, saw Li Wei’s credit points, and froze on the spot.

When the results were posted, the crowd all looked up.

Seeing the first-place score,

everyone was left dumbfounded.

Their eyes widened in disbelief.

After a long mont, soone finally snapped out of it.

"Who is this Li Wei? Do we even have soone by that na in our class?"

Soone voiced the question.

"We don’t."

"Could it be that guy who’s just sitting in on the combat course?"

"No way. He’s just a Tier Two Mage. How could he possibly get that many credit points?"

"But there was no one else in the Secret Realm."

"He must have cheated."

"Rember that massive explosion inside the Secret Realm? That had to be Tier Five Magic!"

"Soone used a Tier Five Magic Scroll in the Secret Realm."

"No way. A Tier Five Magic Scroll is worth a fortune. Who would be dumb enough to use one just to blow up Skeleton Monsters for credit points?"

"Hmph. If you could trade a single Tier Five Magic Scroll for over thirty credit points, wouldn’t you take that deal?"

"Huh... when you put it that way, it doesn’t sound like a bad deal."

Hearing the crowd’s discussion, Kulu also grew suspicious.

’Could that really be what happened?’

He glanced around, searching for any sign of Li Wei.

But Li Wei was long gone.

Kulu nodded to himself, thinking that was probably the case.

’Otherwise, there’s no way Li Wei could have survived the encounter with the Death Knight.’

But he couldn’t forget Li Wei’s peculiar Magic.

Li Wei hadn’t seed weak at all; his Magic could instantly kill a Tier Four Giant Skeleton with ease.

For a mont, Kulu didn’t know what to believe.

Jasmine glanced at the crowd’s heated discussion but offered no explanation.

She turned and left.

As she departed, the Magic Texts in the air vanished.

Li Wei’s na dissipated into the air.

But the discussions about him among the crowd only grew more fervent.

Everyone wanted to find Li Wei and demand to know how he had managed to get so many credit points.

By this ti, Li Wei had already returned to Solemn.

’So hungry!’

Li Wei’s stomach rumbled.

He hadn’t eaten all day.

He was already starving.

But the thought of the pain that ca with eating made Li Wei feel he could hold out a little longer.

Li Wei glanced at his Spatial Ring.

He didn’t dare take the Dragon Heart out, not even for a second, for fear its aura would leak and attract unwanted attention.

But he also desperately wanted to know what the Stone Coffin from the Bone Palace was.

After thinking it over, Li Wei took out the coffin lid and went to find Valen.

"Master Valen, I found sothing very unusual in the Ancient Battlefield. No attack seems to be able to destroy it. What is it?"

When Li Wei found Valen, he was resting.

He imdiately took out the coffin lid to show him.

Valen took the lid and studied it for a mont before his expression turned to one of surprise.

"This... looks like the Life Box of a Witch Lich!"

"Where did you find this?"

Valen was equally astonished.

The Life Box is a Witch Lich’s lifeline.

Their immortality is entirely dependent on their Life Box.

It’s virtually impossible for an ordinary person to even get near a Witch Lich’s Life Box.

Li Wei looked astonished. "Master, are you sure this is a Life Box?"

He knew a little about Witch Liches himself.

Witch Liches are usually very powerful.

That’s because a Witch Lich is a Mage who has used special ans to transform into an Undead Creature, gaining a practically eternal lifespan.

Any Mage capable of transforming into a Witch Lich is undoubtedly a powerhouse in their own right.

Even after becoming a Witch Lich, they often lose the ability to use many of the spells they knew in life.

But they are still incredibly powerful.

A Witch Lich’s lifespan is long.

The longer they live, the more terrifying their strength becos.

The Ancient Battlefield has existed for millennia.

No one knew how long the Witch Lich in the Ancient Battlefield had been alive.

A Witch Lich that is several centuries old is already imnsely powerful.

A millennium-old Witch Lich is a being that even a Legend wouldn’t dare to provoke.

With Li Wei suddenly producing the lid of a Witch Lich’s Life Box, even Valen was starting to lose his composure.

Valen picked up his tools and studied it once more.

After a long ti, he spoke, his expression turning grave. "There’s no mistake. This is absolutely the Life Box of a Witch Lich."

"I’ve heard stories of people spotting a Witch Lich in the Ancient Battlefield before, but there was never any proof. It seems those weren’t just rumors after all."

"However, for its Life Box lid to be missing... that Witch Lich must be in a terrible predicant."

Li Wei broke into a cold sweat.

’Technically, the creature threw the lid away itself.’

Holding the lid, Valen said, "Based on my tests, this could belong to a Legendary Level Witch Lich!"

Li Wei’s heart skipped a beat.

Legend!

A Legendary Level Witch Lich.

It was either a powerful Witch Lich that had lived for centuries...

...or it was once a Legendary Mage who retained its Legend status after transforming into a Witch Lich.

But either way, it represented absolute, terrifying power.

Valen handed the Stone Coffin lid back to Li Wei, comforting him, "Don’t worry too much. If you were able to just pick up its Life Box lid, the Witch Lich is most likely already dead."

A bitter feeling rose in Li Wei’s heart. He knew the Witch Lich wasn’t dead.

Not only that, he was holding the Witch Lich’s *true* Life Box.

Li Wei now knew what the Dragon Heart was.

The Stone Coffin was a secondary Life Box, a shell to protect the Dragon Heart.

The Dragon Heart was the Witch Lich’s true Life Box.

Li Wei asked cautiously, "Master Valen, what do Witch Liches typically use to create their Life Boxes?"

Valen shook his head. "I’m not too familiar with that subject."

"Generally, Mages who wish to beco Witch Liches choose objects that can be preserved for a long ti to create their Life Boxes. That way, they can extend their un-lives even further."

Li Wei asked, "Has a Witch Lich ever used a Dragon Heart for a Life Box?"

Valen shot him a curious glance. "Using a Giant Dragon’s heart for a Life Box?"

Li Wei nodded.

Valen thought for a mont before replying, "That actually sounds like an excellent choice."

"Giant Dragons are born with incredibly long lifespans. Even the Elf Race, famous for their longevity, can’t begin to compare with a Giant Dragon’s lifespan."

"Most Giant Dragons can easily live for several millennia. A rare few can live for over ten thousand years, or even longer."

"As one of a Giant Dragon’s most powerful organs, the Dragon Heart naturally possesses an imnse Life Force. Even after being removed, it can remain active for a considerable amount of ti."

"If used to create a Life Box, it would essentially be a *living* Life Box."

"If preserved properly, the Witch could theoretically attain the sa lifespan as a Giant Dragon."

"What made you think of that?" Valen asked.

Li Wei casually fabricated an excuse.

"When I was bathing in the Dragon Blood, I happened to see the Dragon Corpse of a Giant Dragon with its heart missing."

As he said this, he suddenly froze.

It felt very coincidental.

’Is it really just a coincidence?’
