Li Wei followed Hobbes to the Hall of Truth.
The last ti he was here, Li Wei had only been in the main hall of the Hall of Truth.
This ti, led by Hobbes, Li Wei went up to the second floor of the Hall of Truth.
This was where most of the scholars from the Elental Tower who specialized in magic research gathered.
The vast majority of them were theoretical Mages.
Hobbes clapped his hands and called out to the crowd, "Everyone, just a mont!"
The chattering crowd suddenly fell silent, turning to look at him.
Li Wei stood beside him, feeling a little awkward.
’Isn’t this a bit too high-profile?’
He wasn’t used to being in the spotlight.
But Hobbes had insisted.
He loudly introduced Li Wei to the crowd.
"This is Mage Li Wei, the genius Mage who created and improved multiple Fire Elent Magic Models!"
"Most importantly, Mage Li Wei is only sixteen years old, and he’s already a Tier Three Mage."
"He is, without a doubt, the youngest and most talented genius Mage the Elental Tower has seen in a century!"
"And now, he has beco a mber of our Hall of Truth."
"Everyone, please welco our new mber, Li Wei!"
The crowd burst into enthusiastic applause.
Quite a few of them had heard of Li Wei.
After all, even the Vice Hall Master couldn’t stop praising the Magic Models Li Wei had improved.
Li Wei felt embarrassed by all the praise.
After the welco, Hobbes asked Li Wei what areas of Magic Knowledge he specialized in.
Li Wei said, "I only specialize in Fire Elent Magic."
"That’s fine," Hobbes said. "You’re still young. You have plenty of ti to learn."
"In that case, how about joining our Fire Elent Magic research group?"
Li Wei nodded. "Okay."
He asked, "Are there Credit Point rewards for improving Magic Models?"
"Not necessarily," Hobbes said. "It depends on the specifics of the improvent."
"If an improved Magic Model is deed worthy of being added to the library’s collection, then Credit Points are usually awarded."
"If there’s any Magic you want to learn, you can also use Credit Points to purchase it from the library."
Li Wei was already aware of that.
After becoming a Tier Three Mage, Li Wei could now learn Tier Four Spells and Tier Five Magic.
He hadn’t known where to learn them.
Now, he had an idea.
As a mber of the Hall of Truth, he would enjoy a fifty-percent discount.
This was good news for him.
Hobbes suddenly said, "Oh, right, I forgot to ask which Magic Class you’re in."
"The second-year Red Level Class," Li Wei said.
Hobbes nodded instinctively upon hearing this. "Oh, I see... Wait, what?"
He ca to his senses and stared at Li Wei in disbelief. "The Red Level Class?"
Li Wei nodded. "Yeah."
Hobbes’s eyes were full of shock. "How is that possible?"
In his view, a genius Mage like Li Wei should be in the Purple Level Class.
How could he have ended up in the lowest-ranked Red Level Class?
Li Wei didn’t bother to explain.
"For so special reason, I was assigned to the Red Level Class when I enrolled."
Hobbes was completely bewildered. He couldn’t fathom what kind of "special reason" would land Li Wei in the Red Level Class.
He looked at Li Wei and said, "I’m sure you’ll be able to get into the Purple Level Class."
"Yeah, I believe so too."
Hobbes didn’t press the issue.
He led Li Wei into the Fire Elent Magic research group.
In a small room, a group of people were gathered, discussing Fire Elent Magic.
Hobbes briefly introduced the people present to Li Wei.
Li Wei was introduced to everyone in the group.
Of course, his purpose in coming to the Hall of Truth wasn’t genuinely to do research.
Li Wei only wanted Credit Points.
He asked Hobbes, "Do you have any Magic that needs improving?"
Hobbes quickly picked up a blueprint from the table and said, "You ca at the perfect ti. We have so information here on an ancient Fire Elent Magic. We’ve been studying it for a long ti but haven’t been able to reconstruct the Magic Model. See if you can deduce it."
"According to the docunts, this should be a Tier Two Spell, Fla Saber."
"It’s a bit similar to an Enchantnt, but it is indeed a type of Magic."
Li Wei picked up the blueprint and the accompanying docunts to look them over.
After reviewing the data on the Fla Saber, a few ideas began to form in Li Wei’s mind.
He said, "Is there a private room? When I’m deducing Magic, I like to be alone and have so quiet."
Hearing this, Hobbes quickly nodded. "Yes, we have one. This is our break room. No one’s using it right now, so you can work in here."
Li Wei walked into the room, closed the door, and lay down.
Great Dream Traveling Skill.
In the Dream World, he began to deduce the Fla Saber at eight tis the normal flow of ti.
Fla Saber was an ancient Magic that had been lost.
According to the docunts, Fla Saber was not a Magic used by traditional Mages.
Instead, it was passed down from a rare class—the Demon Swordsman.
Demon Swordsn could fuse the Power of Magic and Sword Skill.
The Demon Swordsman class had been lost, and no one knew Fla Saber.
One hour later, Li Wei walked out of the room.
Hobbes heard the door open and looked up at him.
Only an hour had passed, so he didn’t expect Li Wei to have been able to deduce the Magic Model for Fla Saber.
After all, they had possessed the information on Fla Saber for several months.
So far, with their combined efforts, they had only just managed to deduce a rudintary prototype of the Fla Saber’s Magic Model.
They were still far from a truly usable Magic Model.
Li Wei said, "I’ve deduced the Magic Model for Fla Saber."
Hearing this, Hobbes froze.
Everyone turned to look at him, their faces etched with disbelief.
Li Wei couldn’t be bothered to explain further.
He took out the Death Rider Spear and cast the Fla Saber Magic.
FWOOSH!
Flas ignited along the Death Rider Spear, turning it into a Flaming Spear.
Everyone stared in shock.
"This... Is this really Fla Saber?"
"But isn’t this Magic called Fla Saber? This is clearly a Riding Spear."
Li Wei explained, "Fla Saber isn’t a saber in the literal sense. Fla Saber is an Enchantnt."
"Fla Saber can add Fla Magic Damage to equipnt. It can be used on a weapon of any shape."
"Rather than calling it Fla Saber, I prefer to call it Fla Blade."
Hearing this, everyone stared at Li Wei with wide eyes.
Hobbes ca to his senses and shot up excitedly.
"So that’s how it works! So that’s how it works!"
"Our approach was wrong all along. Our original idea was to create an Energy Saber and then apply a fire Enchantnt to it."
"Wrong, we were wrong. This is the real Fla Saber."
"Li Wei, you’re a true genius!"
Hobbes brought over a blank Magic Book.
Li Wei inscribed the Magic Model for Fla Blade into the Magic Book.
The group took turns passing around the Magic Book, examining the Magic Model inside.
After looking at it, they all marveled at Li Wei’s ingenious and unconventional ideas.
Hobbes asked Li Wei if he was willing to contribute the Fla Blade Magic Model to the Elental Tower.
This was a completely new Magic, and the Elental Tower would give him a generous reward.
Li Wei agreed.
Hobbes took the Magic Book for Fla Blade to the Vice Hall Master.
The reward for contributing a completely new Magic was much higher than for improving one.
