Every gray figure was a Nightmare.
This giant Nightmare Vortex was the one belonging to the Floating City.
At the center of the Nightmare Vortex, there was a stable Dream Bubble that existed within the vortex but had not rged with it.
Li Wei had seen similar bubbles before.
The headquarters of the Wandering God Association was built within such a Dream Bubble.
Since this was the Elental Tower’s territory, Li Wei couldn’t help but suspect that there were powerful Dream Weavers within the Elental Tower as well.
This didn’t seem particularly strange.
After all, the Elental Tower brought together the world’s most outstanding Elental Mages.

A few minutes later, the Shadow Attendant finally killed the Nightmare and obtained its Nightmare Core.
"The Nightmares in the Floating City are a bit high-level. Even a random one is a Tier Two Nightmare."
Li Wei had the Shadow Attendant hunt Nightmares in the Floating City’s dreamscape.
