Li Wei held the Magic Badge, a puzzled look on his face.
"Who are you?"
The Elder said, "I am Bucer, an Elder of the Elental Tower."
"Don’t know you."
Li Wei couldn’t be bothered to deal with him.
’Who cares who he is? So what if he’s an Elder of the Elental Tower?’
Bucer’s expression froze. He took a mont to calm down.
"Do you know who Laurent is?"
Li Wei replied, "What’s it to ? Am I supposed to know who he is?"
Bucer took a deep breath, forcing himself to remain calm.
"Laurent is the son of the Empire’s Prince Baiye. His uncle is the Hall Master of the Elental Tower’s Storm Hall."
"First place this ti was already reserved for Laurent. What you’re doing now will only offend His Highness the Prince and the Storm Hall’s Hall Master."
"Show the Prince and the Hall Master so respect. Withdraw from the Endless Maze now and forfeit your score in this final exam."
"His Highness the Prince will give you suitable compensation. You certainly won’t be getting the short end of the stick."
Li Wei laughed. ’Who wants your compensation?’

He didn’t believe these people could truly call all the shots in the Elental Tower.
’If they were really that powerful, why not just put Laurent directly into the Purple Level Class?’
Li Wei put away his Magic Badge, ignoring Bucer completely.
Bucer sent several more ssages, only to find that Li Wei wasn’t responding at all.
And his Points had started to increase again.
His expression turned cold as he realized Li Wei had no intention of giving up without a fight.
Bucer stared at the leaderboard, his heart filled with helpless rage.
Li Wei was too arrogant.
He actually dared to show no respect for Prince Baiye.
Even though Bucer was trying every trick in the book to help Laurent get more Points, he still couldn’t catch up to Li Wei.
"Bucer, you’ve gone too far."
The Grand Elder could no longer stand by and watch, so he stopped Bucer from disrupting the normal order of the exam.
"Grand Elder, Prince Baiye..." Bucer started to say.
The Grand Elder waved his hand. "I know, but everything must be done according to the rules."
"You should leave now, lest others start gossiping."

If the higher-ups of the Elental Tower said Li Wei cheated, then he cheated.
If the higher-ups said there was no problem with Li Wei’s score, then there was no problem.

Laurent stood inside the Maze Palace Hall, having already given up the struggle.

Li Wei smiled. ’This should be in the bag, right?’
His figure vanished in a flash of white light, leaving the Endless Maze and returning to the Elental Tower.
One after another, figures appeared in the Elental Tower’s Golden Hall.
The Mage students who had previously withdrawn from the Endless Maze had also all gathered here today.
Everyone was watching the people erging from the Endless Maze.
They were searching for that ridiculously high-scoring first-place winner.
Balaha whispered to a fellow Red Level Class student, "This first-place Li Wei... it couldn’t be the sa Li Wei we know, could it?"

Laurent also subconsciously turned his head, wanting to see what the person who had snatched first place from him looked like.

Li Wei turned and walked toward the Grand Elder.
The crowd watched his departing figure.
"What’s going on? Why was Li Wei called away by the Grand Elder alone?"
"It must be because he cheated!"
"How could anyone get over ten thousand points in a normal exam? He definitely cheated!"
