Now reading: Chapter 99: Tier One Object Control Skill from Grinding EXP From Fireball Skill, a Eastern novel by Questioning HeavenSeeking the Path.

Li Wei refined the Object Control Skill in his dream.

After a few failures, he successfully developed a basic version of the Object Control Skill.

He cast the spell.

A faint blue light of mana enveloped a chair.

Li Wei used his Spiritual Power to control the mana, lifting the chair.

It felt a little strenuous.

His control over it was significantly reduced.

Next, Li Wei continuously refined new Magic Models.

After dozens of attempts, he finally constructed a Magic Model he was satisfied with.

A ball of blue light enveloped a table.

Under Li Wei’s control, the table flew up and danced in the air.

With a thought, the room rapidly expanded, becoming an empty field.

The flying table continuously accelerated, getting faster and faster.

WHOOSH!

Its speed reached thirty ters per second.

This was already about the sa as the Fireball Skill’s flight speed.

The Fireball Skill’s maximum flight speed was only forty ters per second.

CRASH!

The table crashed into the ground and was instantly smashed to smithereens.

Splintered wood flew everywhere.

Its attack range, however, far surpassed the Fireball Skill, reaching a staggering hundred ters.

Even an ordinary Archer couldn’t shoot that far.

Beyond a hundred ters was the Domain of an Extraordinary Shooter.

Although the attack range was long, it lost most of its accuracy beyond fifty ters, relying on luck to hit an enemy.

Li Wei cast the Object Control Skill again, attempting to control his own body.

He released his mana, but as soon as it enveloped him, it all flowed back into his body. He was unable to control himself.

He was a little disappointed.

He had to settle for the next best thing: flying on an object.

With a thought, a large wooden plank appeared before him.

Li Wei cast the Object Control Skill and made the plank float.

Then he stepped onto it.

The mont he stepped onto the plank, it began to sink.

Li Wei hurriedly increased his mana output.

A mont later, he stabilized his mana output, and the plank was able to bear his weight.

He stood in the center and carefully made the plank take off.

The plank rose little by little, and he gradually breathed a sigh of relief.

"Flying on an object... it worked."

"I can fly!"

He didn’t fly high; he was afraid of falling.

He flew around for a while, then looked up.

With a thought, the ceiling rose rapidly.

Li Wei controlled the plank, flying straight up. He wanted to see if the dream had an end.

’Does the Object Control Skill have a flight ceiling?’

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH!

Li Wei didn’t know if the dream had an end.

By the ti he reached a height of one hundred ters, he had already consud half of his mana.

Continuing upward, he reached two hundred ters, and his mana was almost completely gone.

WHOOSH!

His mana ran out, the plank lost its Power, and it plumted straight down.

Li Wei fell for half a ter before stopping in mid-air.

This was his dream; he was omnipotent here.

’The Object Control Skill’s flight has no height limit. The only restriction is my mana.’

’Based on this, my entire mana reserve can probably sustain a flight of two hundred ters.’

’No, that’s not right. It should be more than two hundred ters.’

’Flying upward requires a constant output of mana to accelerate and overco gravity. But with horizontal flight, once I get up to speed, I can reduce the mana output and rely on inertia.’

With a thought, Li Wei’s mana fully restored, and a chair appeared behind him.

He sat on the chair and used the Object Control Skill to make it fly.

This ti, flying a thousand ters only consud about thirty percent of his mana.

Li Wei kept flying until his mana ran out and he began to fall.

He finally ca to a conclusion.

With horizontal flight, his entire mana reserve could sustain him for a maximum of 3,500 ters.

’This is the distance I can fly alone. If I were carrying other people, the mana consumption would be greater, and the flight distance shorter.’

’The Magic Model for the Object Control Skill can still be improved. Next, I need to find a way to increase my flight speed and reduce its mana cost.’

Li Wei landed on the ground. When he saw his Shadow Attendant, an idea struck him.

’The Object Control Skill can’t affect my own body because as soon as the mana touches my skin, it returns to .’

’If sothing could block the mana from returning, couldn’t I use it on myself?’

Li Wei thought of his Invisible Armor.

He activated the Invisible Armor and used the Object Control Skill again.

This ti, the Invisible Armor was dyed blue.

A smile spread across Li Wei’s face. "It worked!"

’The key was the Invisible Armor again. This Invisible Armor is a real blessing!’

He slowly flew up, then accelerated.

He flew forward and backward, made sharp turns and sudden stops, did 720-degree spins in the air, flew upside down...

Li Wei tested out every kind of aerial maneuver he could think of.

After trying it out, he discovered that controlling his own body for flight was far more liberating and convenient than riding an object.

At the very least, he didn’t have to worry about falling off.

After landing, the blue light around Li Wei’s body dissipated.

Words ford in the dirt on the ground.

[Object Control Skill (Tier One Small Success)] 106/10000

’Attack Magic, Defense Magic, a Control Spell, and a Flying Spell... I’ve got them all now.’

A happy smile appeared on Li Wei’s face.

By the standards of a traditional Mage, the number of spells Li Wei had mastered was a bit low.

However, Li Wei placed more importance on practicality and efficiency.

He couldn’t be bothered to learn spells he didn’t really need.

For instance, he hadn’t used the Ice Arrow Skill in over a month.

He did use the Shadow Touch Spell occasionally, but only because he often had to help the Shadow Attendant replenish its Shadow Elent.

In practice, its usage frequency was very low.

The night was only half over. Li Wei glanced at his Shadow Attendant and decided to take it into the dreamscape of Cold Sand City.

It was ti for the Shadow Attendant’s strength to be improved.

Tier One High Level wasn’t cutting it anymore.

Li Wei planned to raise the Shadow Attendant to Tier Two first.

"Shadow Attendant, let’s go."

Leaving the safe house, they arrived at the fog-shrouded River of Dreams.

Li Wei looked up. The one hundred and eight stars still hung high in the sky.

Distant and unreachable.

He had often wondered what those stars represented.

However, they were too far away from him.

Li Wei pulled his gaze away and focused on the present.

They arrived at the Nightmare Vortex of Cold Sand City.

The vortex had shrunk to the size of a palm, a sign that the Nightmare in Cold Sand City was about to end.

Li Wei wasted no ti and entered the dream.

He cast the Great Dream Traveling Skill, and a powerful suction force pulled at him from the vortex underfoot.

He was violently sucked into the dream.

Although the dream vortex looked to be only the size of a palm, when Li Wei entered it, it was as vast as Cold Sand City itself.

Size was aningless in a dreamscape.

Small was not truly small, and large was not truly large.

WHOOSH!

Li Wei appeared on the city walls of Cold Sand City.

The walls had been reduced to ruins, and so areas were already shrouded in the Dream Fog.

The fog was devouring the city.

Li Wei summoned his Shadow Attendant and put two layers of Invisible Armor on it.

"Go. Hunt the Nightmares to your heart’s content."

Hearing this, the Shadow Attendant was thrilled, transforming into a streak of black light and shooting off.

CRASH!

It smashed into a house. When it erged again, it was holding a Nightmare Core.

"Tonight, you are permitted to devour all the Nightmare Cores."

Upon hearing this, the Shadow Attendant didn’t hesitate, imdiately swallowing the Nightmare Core in its hand.

Li Wei leaped from the city wall, landing as lightly as a feather.

The Nightmare was about to end. The Nightmares in the dreamscape were enjoying their final carnival, a scene of utter pandemonium.

They were no longer limited to the form of Beastn; all sorts of monsters could now be seen.

"ROAR!"

One Nightmare had transford into a seven or eight-ter-tall Giant Dragon, recklessly spewing flas to harvest the Power of Nightmare.
