“Sister, are you my sister?” An Ning shook off An Lan’s hand and said, “Am I such a bad person in your eyes? You rattled all the way. I spent some of our parents’ money, but so what? I’ll pay them back when I bee a star!”
An Lan replied angrily, “Is being a star that easy? I have dealt with quite a few cases for film and television panies. The entertainment circle isn’t as simple as you think. Our family isn’t rich. Do you have to be so wasteful?”
“You earn millions from every case you do, don’t you? I’m your sister. Why are you so stingy?” An Ning said and then left grumpily.
An Lan was so angry that her heart ached.

Yan Su walked into the classroom and took off her face mask. Hai Yin, her classmate, walked over and said to her, “Su, do you have time this afternoon?”
“Can I help you?” Yan Su had a good impression on Hai Yin. She always kept a low profile and spent her time with the orchestra without causing any problem.
“Our orchestra is going to perform at the Xia City Music Theater for Christmas. You’re good at music, so we want your advice. Maybe we can add a harp or a celesta. Of course, you don’t have to go, if you don’t have time.”

The man didn’t look Chinese. Yan Su guessed that he was from Japan or Korea. Many foreigners lived near the college town. Most of them were there to study or work.
“Right there. Go this way…” Yan Su pointed backward. A man suddenly showed up behind her and breathed some smoke into her face.
Her head instantly spun.
Damn… that one word popped into her mind before she fell into unconsciousness.
Another man quickly put her into a black car nearby, then drove away.

Yan Su woke up to find herself lying on a large bed.
Her mind was still unclear, and her body was powerless. She couldn’t even sit up. Also, she felt that her limbs were all tied up.
She was muddleheaded for a short while before she suddenly recalled that someone made her unconscious on her way home.
She had read about such things from the news, but never thought that it would happen to her.
What did these people want? Did they kidnap her for money? Or, were they going to sell her?
She shuddered to think of it.
“You’re awake.” A woman’s voice was heard from the end of the bed. Her Chinese was not fluent.
