Chapter 982: He Looked Adorable
Yan Su couldn’t argue with him. He seemed to be right.
She felt that he was acting a little weird though. “Why do you want to go out for barbecue so much?”
“Because the weather is nice and it’s getting cold soon. Who would go out then? Besides, I’m about to start working with the film crew.” Mo Liuxi made himself sound very reasonable. “Don’t you wanna relax a little? Can you e up with any good lyrics staying home every day?”
Yan Su thought for a moment, then agreed. “You have to make sure there won’t be any scandal about us.”
“I’m not silly. My film is gonna start shooting soon. Creating a scandal now will ruin my own reputation too. Don’t forget that I helped you before. I don’t want the others to know that we know each other either.”
Hearing that, Yan Su finally stopped worrying and went back to her flat.

On Friday, Yan Su was sitting in Mo Liuxi’s sports car. They were going out for barbecue. She had no idea where they were heading and fell asleep as soon as she got into the car. When she woke up, she found herself in a suburb area, next to a clear river.
“Isn’t this North Mountain? You drove all the way here?” Yan Su clicked her tongue. North Mountain was at least an hour and a half from her apartment.
“Emm.” Mo Liuxi nodded. “What did you do last night? You slept all the way.”
“I was talking to brother Yunyang about the theme song.” Yan Su rubbed her eyes and said, “He’s amazing. We have a lot to talk about, and I learned a lot from him.”
As she just woke up, her voice was as soft as water. The words ‘brother Yunyang’ escaped her lips with a sweet, intimate tone.
Mo Liuxi wasn’t happy to hear that. “How long have you guys known each other? How can you call him ‘brother’ already? Besides, he’s twenty years older than you. You should call him ‘uncle’, shouldn’t you?”
Yan Su sighed. “Who likes to be called that nowadays? That would be offensive.”
“People should accept their real age,” said Mo Liuxi blandly. “You need to be careful when you’re working with him. I heard the more serious a man looks, the more lascivious and twisted he could be.”
Yan Su’s eyes widened and she stared at him.
Mo Liuxi looked straight ahead and continued while driving. “Didn’t you say the entertainment circle is plicated?”
“I am aware of that. You don’t need to remind me of it.” Yan Su lowered her head to look at her phone.
The roads in that area involved a lot of bends. After spending a while looking at her phone, Yan Su felt a little dizzy and wanted to throw up.
When they arrived at the destination, she almost crawled out of the car. Her face was ghastly pale. She felt sick but couldn’t vomit.
“You shouldn’t look at your phone while the car is moving.” Mo Liuxi found a bag of ginger from the car and handed it to Yan Su. He then took out a folding chair from the trunk and opened it for her to sit on. “Just sit here and have some fruit.”
Yan Su felt guilty. “Let me rest a little. I’ll start the fire once I feel better.”
“No need. You’ll do the barbecue later, and I’ll do the preparation work.” Mo Liuxi took out the grill and started a charcoal fire.
He had done that type of work since he was little, so it didn’t take him long to set the charcoal on fire. As he had his back to Yan Su, he deliberately wiped his face with his hands which were stained by charcoal. As he turned back, Yan Su who was eating a mango hurriedly dropped the mango and said to him, “Your face is dirty.”
“Yeah?” Mo Liuxi lowered his head and wiped his left cheek with his sleeve.
“The other side.” Yan Su reminded him.
Mo Liuxi started wiping the other side of his face, but never really touched the dirty area.
“e here and let me help you.” Yan Su couldn’t bear to watch.
“Alright.” Mo Liuxi walked over to her and squatted before her. His eyes contained a faint smile. The sunlight poured onto his fair skin. His pretty face was glamorous as ever, and those stains added adorableness to it.
