WHILE YUNO was observing his fellow Guides from the Top 5, he realized that the others weren’t just elite— they were also privileged.

I was the only one from the Lab.

He wasn’t saying that his fellow Guides didn’t suffer.

But I’m sure they didn’t suffer as much as I did— they didn’t have to watch their friends getting abused and killed one by one.

Ki Gayoon just scoffed, and then he sat next to Yuno. "Move."

"Why are you making a patient move?" Yuno complained, but he moved to give space for the Esper. And he did that while yapping. "Hyung, the bed is too small for two grown n."

"Right?" Ki Gayoon agreed when he was finally seated next to Yuno. "Should I replace all the beds here? You’re actively trying to kill yourself, so I’m sure this won’t be your last ti in this infirmary."

"Are you trying to jinx , Hyung?"

"I’m just telling the truth," Ki Gayoon said, shrugging. "Anyway, I saw Bambi before I got here. He said your training for today is finished. So, we can go ho now, right?"

"You t Team Leader Bambi-ssi on your way here? That can’t be a coincidence."

"Yeah. Soone probably tipped him off when I got here since it looked like he was waiting for at the lobby."

"I actually don’t care about Bambi anymore. I’m already over with what he did to ," Ki Gayoon said. "But if you’re that worried about , then I’ll actively avoid him from now on. I’ll ignore him unless I need to talk to him for work."

He thought the Esper was only throwing a tantrum.

But Ki Gayoon suddenly stood up and walked out of the room. "Let’s go ho."

"Hyung, what about the thing you need to say about Guide Lucca-ssi?" Yuno said, getting up while following behind Ki Gayoon. "I’m curious about that."

"I forgot what I wanted to say, so just forget about it as well."

"Hyung is lying!"

"I’m not."

This old man is being petty again!

"Hyung, you can’t be jealous of Guide Lucca-ssi," Yuno said, annoyed, while keeping up with Ki Gayoon’s pace. The Esper imdiately punched the elevator button when they got there. "It’s like a demon getting jealous of an angel— it’s ridiculous."

"Yes, yes, I’m a demon and Lucca is an angel."

"Hyung, are you being for real?"

Ki Gayoon just shrugged, and then he went in the elevator.

Is Hyung really sulking?

"Hyung, are you mad?"

"Hyung."

Ki Gayoon leaned against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest. "Are you not going to get in?"

"Yes, I’m not," Yuno said, turning his back on Ki Gayoon— heading towards the ergency stairs. "I don’t have the energy to appease you, Hyung."

"Yah!"

OF COURSE, Yuno imdiately regretted taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

But he was prideful during strange tis, so he didn’t turn back even though Ki Gayoon kept calling his na.

Why would he need to appease an Esper who was being immature?

"I don’t like the silent treatnt either. But you’re good at complaining, so I don’t think I have to worry about that."

"Well, I can be like that sotis," Yuno admitted, pausing for a mont because he realized that he might be acting like a hypocrite again. "But when I close off my walls, I do it involuntarily sotis, Hyung. So, if you notice that I stopped being a yapper all of a sudden, don’t hesitate to call out."

"That’s sothing I can do."

"Great. So, we’re done fighting, right?"

"Are we?"

Yuno bowed his head. "I’m sorry for joking that Hyung is a demon."

"Fine. Whatever," Ki Gayoon said, sighing. "Let’s go ho."

"Hyung, can you use your telekinesis power to lift ? I’m too tired to use the stairs."

"Who told you to throw a tantrum?"

Yuno pouted, avoiding Ki Gayoon’s judgental gaze. "I already regret it, Hyung."

"I won’t waste my Mana just to encourage you to be lazy," Ki Gayoon scolded him, but he stood in front of Yuno— with his back on him— and bent his knees. "But I can give you a piggyback ride."

Ki Gayoon should be pissed that Noh Yuno fell asleep while on his back.

But, instead of getting annoyed, he actually found himself smiling.

If Noh Yuno fell asleep, then he probably found comfortable.

If that was the case, then Gayoon wouldn’t mind giving Noh Yuno more piggyback rides in the future.

Ah, fucking hell.
