"Yes, Sajangnim," Yuno said indifferently, nodding after taking a sniff of the dark substance inside a small vial. "I "tasted" the sa substance when I absorbed it from Gayoon Hyung’s body. But, even though I coughed up black blood, it didn’t affect that much. My Mana just got a bit depleted."
Hence, Yuno suddenly beca horny and initiated sex with Ki Gayoon.
The embarrassnt was worth it since I got a refill of my Mana.
"It seems like Yoonyoon didn’t notice this substance enter his body," Moon Noa said, in deep thought. "Haru imdiately noticed this strange substance, so he sealed it within his body."

Moon Noa called Haru by his proper na instead of ’Haruharu.’
That ans sajangnim is really mad at our ex-prince.
After storming out of Haru’s VIP room, Moon Noa dragged Yuno to the room next door.
The VIP room there had been turned into what seed like a laboratory.
Sajangnim’s family owns this private hospital, so it’s not surprising that he can do sothing like this with just one word.
For so reason, Ki Gayoon decided to stay with Haru.
I hope Gayoon Hyung doesn’t pick a fight with Haru-nim, though.
"Did you already warn Bambam and the others about this substance?"
"Yes, Sajangnim," Yuno said while nodding. "I’m not sure if Team Leader Bambi-ssi believes , though. After all, my mories of Father are a bit hazy. I won’t bla him if they don’t trust my words this ti."
"Nah, they’ll believe you. It won’t hurt them to be extra careful anyway."
"Right."
"Are you not going to ask why I slapped Haru?"

"Sajangnim, that’s none of my business," Yuno said bluntly. "Both Sajangnim and Haru-nim are way older than , so I’m sure you know what you’re doing."
Moon Noa laughed, but it sounded bitter. "Yuyu, how would you react if Yoonyoon used a different Guide because he thought the substance in his body could harm you? In short, he treated another Guide like a spare battery."
Ah, so that was what happened.
And that’s probably why Haru-nim’s Guide flew here urgently— Haru-nim refused Sajangnim’s Guiding because he didn’t want Sajangnim to be hurt by what he thought was a dangerous substance for a Guide.
"What Haru-nim did was a dick move," Yuno said bluntly. "But, Sajangnim, I don’t think I can give you a proper answer. Even if it was just a rhetorical question, I still couldn’t imagine Gayoon Hyung using a different Guide just to protect ."
Moon Noa pouted, suddenly acting like a child that he wasn’t. "Are you not going to be mad? You love Guides more than you love Espers."

If that was the case, then...
"I don’t like it when other people are sacrificed for myself, so I’d probably disappear from Gayoon Hyung’s life until he probably repents," Yuno said, shrugging. "But you’re different from , Sajangnim."
"What do you an by that?"
"Sajangnim has a dark heart and a twisted personality, so I think you liked the way Haru-nim protected you— even if it was at the expense of Shohei-ssi."
"Yuyu, I’m still your elder and boss."
"I know, but I need to be honest," Yuno said awkwardly. "I can tell that Sajangnim is upset, but it’s more like you’re upset with yourself because you can’t really get mad at Haru-nim."
To be honest, he was ready to be scolded after running his mouth like that.
However, Moon Noa just laughed— it sounded bitter and hollow, though.
This is the first ti I’ve seen this side of Sajangnim.
"You’re right, Yuyu."
"Oh, I am?"
"I was upset, but I also couldn’t help but feel like I’ve won against Shohei-san," Moon Noa said, smiling bitterly while shaking his head. "I was happy that even though I wasn’t Haru’s official Guide, he still chose to protect over his own official Guide."

"Sajangnim, I’m sorry to say this, but you and Haru-nim owe Shohei-ssi a proper apology," Yuno said disapprovingly. "Please don’t let an innocent person get his heart broken just because Sajangnim and Haru-nim couldn’t decide whether to be together as a couple or not."

"I’M SURE you’re not here because you care about my well-being, Gayoon-san."
"Yeah," Ki Gayoon said, sitting on the chair next to the hospital bed. "I have a question."
Haru smiled bitterly. "And you expect to give you the answer for free?"
"I’ll lend you a house if Moon Noa kicks you out."
"You sound so sure that Noa-san would kick out of his house."
"He slapped you, dude. Moon Noa is a sly fox— but he never resorts to violence unless it’s a life-and-death situation. And, even then, he would ask his people to kill for him. He doesn’t like his hands getting dirty."
Haru let out a sigh. "I fucked up, right?"
"What did you do?"
The prince bastard then explained what happened.
That he chose to protect Moon Noa by putting his official Guide’s life at risk.
"Thankfully, Shohei-san wasn’t poisoned," Haru said, sighing. "He’s currently resting in the room provided to him by the Bureau. He didn’t want to stay here because this hospital belongs to Noa-san’s family."
Ah, so that’s why we haven’t seen Ozaki Shohei here yet.
"Are you not going to scold , Gayoon-san?"
"Your business is none of my business," Gayoon said, pausing for a mont. "But, to be honest, I don’t see anything wrong with what you did. Sure, it was a dick move. But, if ever I found myself in the sa situation as yours, I would have done the sa. I don’t care about other Guides— I only care about Noh Yuno."
Haru chuckled while shaking his head. "Yuno-kun would hate you if he heard that."
"Nah, that punk already knows how much of a bastard I am. I doubt he’d be surprised or aghast by my twisted thoughts at this point."
"I wish I could say the sa."
"It’s your fault for acting like a puppy in front of Moon Noa when you’re just a cruel bastard like most Espers are."
"Enough. I don’t want to be scolded by a bastard like you," Haru said, sighing. Then he paused for a mont before opening his mouth again. "It was in the boutique."
"What?"
"Noa-san reserved the entire boutique, and he didn’t keep it a secret since we were luring out the serial killer," the prince bastard explained. "Hence, I wouldn’t be surprised if the serial killer visited the boutique before they closed it during Noa-san’s arrival. That was probably when that bastard spread the strange powder in the air."
"Strange powder?"
"My senses are one of the sharpest among the high-ranking Espers in the world, but I still didn’t feel the strange power that lingered in the air. I only noticed it when it entered my body and turned my insides into a ss," Haru explained, patting his stomach. "But Noa-san wasn’t affected by the strange powder even though he stayed in that boutique longer. So, I believe it’s only harmful to Espers."
"Wait," Gayoon said, raising his hand. "I also t Moon Noa at that boutique before I fetched Noh Yuno at the Bureau."
And then his Mana almost dropped to the Red Zone!
That was when he almost snapped, and then Noh Yuno guided him— causing his Exclusive Guide to cough up blood.
"Well, that ans you got affected by the strange powder," Haru said, nodding. "I heard Yuno-kun guided you before you coughed up black blood like I did."
Gayoon scowled at the reminder. "Noh Yuno coughed up black blood in my place."
"And that’s exactly why I didn’t want Noa-san to guide back there."
Tsk.
"Do you think it’s possible that the sa strange powder was scattered at the Bureau?" Gayoon asked, changing the topic. "Maybe I was already affected by the strange powder after eting Moon Noa at the boutique, and then it got worse when I arrived at the Bureau."
"It’s possible. And it’s also possible that Sungbin-san has already figured that out," Haru said, pausing for a mont. "I hate to admit this, but Sungbin-san has sharper senses than I do."
Right.
But Bambi and Ryu Sungbin hadn’t said a word related to that.
Gayoon knitted his eyebrows.
Are those two planning to backstab us?

"HYUNG, I’ll sleep in my own room tonight," Yuno said as soon as they got ho. "I have sothing important to do."
Ki Gayoon clicked his tongue. "Can’t you just do it next to ?"
"Hyung, clingy n aren’t attractive."
"Tsk."
Aigoo.
He’s throwing a tantrum.
"Hyung wouldn’t like what I’m about to do, so it’s better to sleep separately tonight."
"What are you planning to do, punk?" Ki Gayoon asked nervously. "Are you trying to give a heart attack again?"
"I’m going to shed a little blood," Yuno said to put his Esper at ease. "Just a tiny little bit, Hyung."
That assurance didn’t put Ki Gayoon’s heart at ease, though.
