Will Noh Yuno get mad if I break a bone or two?
Gayoon bit the cinnamon stick in his mouth in half while watching Kwon Hojun struggle while in an "air jail."
The kid suddenly shot up earlier, escaping from getting buried in the ground.
But he caught Kwon Hojun using his telekinesis power— keeping the kid suspended in the air while restricting his movents.
He’s about to break free at any mont, though.
So, Gayoon thought knocking out Kwon Hojun would be the best thing to do in that situation.
"Oppa!"
It was Lee Sarang, running towards him with Kim Jaeha.
"The kid is about to go on a Rampage," Gayoon said, stopping Lee Sarang and Kim Jaeha from getting closer. "Go back."
"Have you noticed it, Oppa?" Lee Sarang asked carefully. "That power..."
"Yeah," Gayoon said, nodding. "It’s similar to Matthew’s power."
"It’s not just similar to Matthew Oppa’s power," Lee Sarang said nervously. "Gayoon Oppa, the Core that we put in the Ice Cube has disappeared. And it disappeared around the ti that Kwon Hojun awakened as an Esper. Do you think that’s a coincidence?"
Hell, no.
However, just like what Gayoon thought earlier, it would be bad if implanting a Core into the heart of a Civilian would help them awaken as an Esper.
Tsk.
"Let’s talk about that later," Gayoon said, waving his hand dismissively. "I’m going to knock out the kid first. You absolutely have to tell Noh Yuno later that I didn’t break the kid’s bones on purpose, okay?"
"U-Uhm, G-Gayoon Hyung..."
Gayoon raised an eyebrow at Kim Jaeha. "Why am I your ’hyung?’"
"Then G-Gayoon-nim," Kim Jaeha said, correcting himself nervously. "Can I try Guiding Kwon Hojun? I feel like I can stop him from going on a Rampage..."
Oh, right.
Guiding was also a solution.
I just got rid of that option in my head since I didn’t want Noh Yuno to use his abilities on the kid.
But if it was a task that another Guide volunteered to do...
I don’t give a fuck then.
"Alright," Gayoon said, and then he snapped his fingers right away. "That kid is all yours, Kim Jaeha."
Kwon Hojun plumted to the ground.
Hard— so hard that it created a crater.

Kwon Hojun didn’t move, and Gayoon started to worry that he had accidentally killed the kid.
Noh Yuno will hate if that’s the case...
"Oppa, did you kill him?" Lee Sarang asked suspiciously. "I’ll snitch on Yuno."
"Yah."
"He’s still alive."
Before Gayoon and Lee Sarang could even react, Kim Jaeha had already run towards Kwon Hojun.
What a fearless kid.
"Are we not going to stop him, Oppa?"
"Why aren’t you stopping him, Lee Sarang? You’re closer to that kid than I am to him."
"I just feel like everything is going to be alright," Lee Sarang said, shrugging. "Kim Jaeha is young, but he’s an elite A-Class Guide. He has a high matching rate with the original Matthew. So, I have a feeling that it will be fine."
Gayoon only nodded while observing the kids.
And he’s up.
Thank goodness the kid was alive.
Noh Yuno won’t have a reason to hate now.
Kwon Hojun had already woken up— getting up while glaring at Gayoon with his sharp, red eyes.
However, the newly awakened Esper got distracted right away.
It was because Kim Jaeha suddenly threw himself at Kwon Hojun, quite literally.
Kwon Hojun looked confused at first, but it looked like his instincts kicked in as he caught Kim Jaeha— the newly awakened Esper gathering the elite Guide in his arms.
Ew.
Are they shooting a drama or what?
Gayoon then rembered how Noh Yuno guided him for the first ti— that little shit held his pinky finger as if it was the most disgusting thing in the world.
Haaah.
That was the first ti he called Noh Yuno a ’little shit’ in his head after a long while.
This is bad— my vocabulary still sucks.
Noh Yuno would tease Gayoon again if he found out that he would still call him ’little shit’ in his head from ti to ti, and that thought made him smile.
Why do I miss Noh Yuno even though he’s just in the building behind ?
"Oppa, stop smiling— you’re creeping out."
Gayoon cleared his throat after Lee Sarang called him out. "I wasn’t smiling."
"You were probably thinking of Yuno."
"..."
"It’s okay, Oppa," Lee Sarang consoled him while gently patting his back. "I also suddenly missed Mo Hanjin while watching Kwon Hojun and Kim Jaeha. And I guess any Esper would feel the sa way we do."
After all, Kim Jaeha’s Guiding was very effective.
It just took one hug for Kwon Hojun to imdiately calm down.
Those two kids probably have a high matching rate.
Gayoon was relieved since one matter had been resolved today.
We just have to make sure that Kwon Hojun will be taken under the Esper Association’s wing and not the National Guide Bureau.
And for the other matters that they needed to attend to...
"Lee Sarang, did you just say you miss Mo Hanjin?"
"Well, I don’t feel that strongly towards Mo Hanjin anymore, so I’m sure he won’t be able to manipulate anymore," Lee Sarang said calmly. It was obvious that she was really sober now and free from her previous Guide’s manipulation. "Since I can think clearly now, I want the opportunity to talk to Mo Hanjin. I want to know what he did to these past few years, and what exactly Bambi-ssi promised to him."
"You know that Mo Hanjin won’t talk easily, right? If making the Guides controlled by Bambi was easy, then I would have made them talk already."
"I know that, Oppa. But I still want to try."
There.
That was the answer I was waiting for.
"Then should I send you to Japan?"
Lee Sarang turned to Gayoon with knitted eyebrows. "Did sothing happen, Oppa?"
As expected, this kid is quick-witted now that she’s sober.
"Yeah. Moon Noa will be here later to explain the situation," Gayoon said, pausing for a mont. "But I have a feeling that I might need to send you to Japan to deal with the big issue there."
"If you’re going to send to Japan for a mission, then I assu it’s going to be a long mission," Lee Sarang said, and then she tilted her head to one side while smiling at Gayoon. "Oppa, don’t you think I need Yuno’s Guiding before I leave?"
"Hell, no!"

"THREE natural S-Class Espers?"
That was the first thing that ca out of Yuno’s mouth when he opened his mouth.
He couldn’t help it.
As an E-Class Guide, Yuno could tell an Esper’s class if they were high-ranking.
And he had been around natural S-Class Espers long enough to identify their Mana from the others.
Gayoon Hyung and Sarang Noona are here, so who might be the last one?
"You really have a good sense as a Guide, Madam."
Ah, it was Lee Woonhak.
"Of course, Gayoonnie’s wife must be as special as him."
And there was Kang Dabin, too.
So, it’s Dabin Hyung’s turn to be my bodyguard.
"What happened while I was asleep?" Yuno asked, his voice a little hoarse. "There’s a natural S-Class Esper that I don’t recognize here."
Lee Woonhak handed Yuno a bottled water before dropping the bomb. "Kwon Hojun awakened as a natural S-Class Esper."
Yuno almost choked on the water that he had just sipped.
"Ah, it’s not yet official since Kwon Hojun hasn’t been tested yet for his rank," Lee Woonhak said while handing Yuno a tissue pack this ti. "But Gayoon and Sarang-ssi both claim that Kwon Hojun is a natural S-Class Esper."
Haaah.
That was shocking.
"How long was I out for?" Yuno asked, and then he looked outside the window. It was already dark. "Damn, I was out for hours. Gayoon Hyung didn’t lose his mind, did he?"
"Gayoonnie didn’t lose his mind, but he’s going batshit crazy on Guide Moon Noa-nim," Kang Dabin said. "Would you like to escort you to where they are, Madam?"
If Ki Gayoon was going crazy on Moon Noa, then Moon Noa definitely did sothing stupid again.
In short, his boss deserved the thrashing.
Probably.
I have no intention of stopping Gayoon Hyung from scolding Sajangnim, so...
"The kids," Yuno said, getting up as carefully as possible since his body felt heavy. "I want to see Kwon Hojun and Kim Jaeha first."

"YOU AGREED to unleash your mories and share them with Ryu Sungbin?!" Ki Gayoon hated raising his voice, but he couldn’t help it. "Moon Noa, I can’t believe you did sothing so stupid. Are you that desperate for Ryu Sungbin’s attention, huh?"
He knew that he crossed the line with his last remark.
But he couldn’t help it.
I have never trusted Moon Noa 100%, but he still disappointed .
"Moon Noa, I never expected you to be on our side completely because I have always known you’d waver when it ca to Ryu Sungbin," Gayoon said, letting out a frustrated sigh. "But I expected you to at least protect Noh Yuno since you claim you see him as a son."
"Yoonyoon, I’m here because I want to protect Yuyu," Moon Noa said in a serious voice, pointing at his temple with a finger gun. "I need Yuyu’s help to unleash my sealed mories."
