Kissing Noh Yuno had been as natural as breathing to Gayoon already, so he would often forget that Noh Yuno wasn’t just his lover— that he was also his one and only Guide.

Gayoon trailed off when he accidentally dropped Noh Yuno after losing strength in his arms.
Not, it wasn’t just his arms— his entire body lost its strength.
What the hell is happening to ?
When Gayoon looked down at his arms, he was shocked to see that his body had already turned translucent.
And he could feel it— a strong force was trying to take him away from that place.
He imdiately lifted his head to see if Noh Yuno was in the sa danger, but he was more shocked by the calmness he saw on his lover’s face.
Noh Yuno was already standing on his own feet after Gayoon accidentally dropped him.
And the Guide looked calm.

Noh Yuno knows— he’s probably the reason why this is happening.
"Noh Yuno, do you not trust ?" Gayoon asked, the hurt and bitterness in his voice showing. "I don’t know how you did this, but you saved , didn’t you? And you did this because you thought I couldn’t save you from those bastards."
"I did this because I trust you," Noh Yuno said firmly. "Hyung, you’ll understand later why I had to make this choice."

"I like the honeycomb ice cream that we brought from Busan to be a staple dessert in the HoneyMoon Convenience Store," Noh Yuno said, cutting Gayoon off again. "But my favorite ice cream in the store is the red bean ice cream, while my least favorite flavor would be vanilla. I like the rest of the flavors the sa amount."
"Do you think this is the right ti to talk about your favorite ice cream?"
"I just realized that I never got to give you the list of my favorite ice cream flavors from the store."
"Then all the more reason for you to stay by my side, you little shit."
"I like Hyung’s cheesy tteokbokki, but I like your kimchi fried rice the best. Especially when you make fried chicken to pair with it, even though you complain about how greasy it is."
Gayoon could only clench his jaw tight while listening to Noh Yuno’s bullshit.
No, of course, it wasn’t bullshit— he was interested in every single thing the punk liked, after all.

This feels like a goodbye and I fucking hate it.
"Donut is still my favorite dessert, but I like the New York cheesecake that they have at the Moonlight Hotel’s café," Noh Yuno continued with his monologue. "I don’t usually care about what I eat as long as it gives the nutrients I need to stay alive. But ever since I t Hyung, I started to enjoy food. Well, you kind of forced to be a foodie, but I don’t hate you for it. In fact, I’m grateful that you helped put my taste buds to good use."
"Stop it, Noh Yuno," Gayoon pleaded Noh Yuno. He wasn’t the type to beg, but his voice sounded so desperate that even he thought he was being pathetic. "Say that to once we get out of here." He extended his hand to Noh Yuno because he realized he couldn’t move his legs anymore. "Co here, Yuno-ya."
"Just one more thing, Hyung," Noh Yuno said, not budging from where he stood. "This part is important."
"I said stop—"
"Gayoon Hyung, I’ll die if you die— so don’t you dare lose to anyone while we’re apart," Noh Yuno "threatened" him. "I also don’t like my siblings that much, so please crash our "family reunion" and take away as soon as possible."
Haaah.
Gayoon could feel it.
I’m about to disappear at any mont.
"You’re really going to be the end of , Noh Yuno," Gayoon said, dropping his arm because he knew it was already too late to change Noh Yuno’s mind. But he didn’t give up— he was simply taking a step back. "Wait for — I’ll co and get you, little shit. And once I find you again, I’ll seriously lock you up sowhere only I know."
"Ah, the black flag is here," Noh Yuno said in a monotone voice, and then he waved at him. "See you later, Ahjuhyung."

WHEN KI GAYOON opened his eyes, he found himself back in his mansion.
And he wasn’t alone.
Baekho, Lucca, Kang Dabin, and Yang Youngjae.
The four looked confused.
"Boss, what happened?" Baekho asked curiously. "I rember driving the car with those kids. We were headed to Lee Woonhak’s clinic."
"Don’t ask," Gayoon said, annoyed. "I don’t know what’s going on either."
He glanced at Kang Dabin who was still in Lucca’s arms.
Fortunately, it looked like Kang Dabin had already cald down.
It was probably because they were already far from the mansion full of negative Mana that was harmful to Espers like them.
I guess we don’t need to call Woonhak Hyung.
"Hyung-nim," Yang Younjae said, tensed. "Intruders..."
The "intruders" appeared out of thin air even before Yang Youngjae finished talking.
Hah!
Gayoon smirked bitterly while looking at the "intruders" that he didn’t mind welcoming in his ho. "Did Noh Yuno commission you to bring that bastard to ?"
He was talking to Leehan (with his face and entire body still covered in white bandages), and the Captain and Vice Captain of the Rogue Clan.
And, yes, the three criminals brought Bambi with them.
The S-Class Guide had a paper bag covering his entire face. The paper bag was actually an Item that was at least A-Grade. So, the Rogue Clan mbers probably used it on Bambi to block his senses.
Again— yes— Bambi is still alive.
Illusion.
Powerful illusion that could even deceive the eyes of natural S-Class Espers.
That’s the main ability of the Rogue Clan’s Captain.
Hence, the fact that Bambi was "burned to ashes" was nothing but a powerful illusion.
But the Bambi in front of is the real thing, so the Rogue Clan still succeeded in kidnapping that bastard.
"Guide Noh Yuno-ssi didn’t commission us to kidnap Guide Bambi-ssi," the female Esper— the Vice Captain of the Rogue Clan— said. "But after hearing our plan, Guide Noh Yuno-ssi told us to bring Guide Bambi-ssi here. Apparently, Esper Ki Gayoon-ssi will help us hide Guide Bambi-ssi from Esper Ryu Sungbin-ssi."
Haaah.
So, Noh Yuno really planned everything before he left.
And that made Gayoon think that Noh Yuno’s decision to return with his "siblings" wasn’t simply on a whim.
That punk knows this will happen.

If that was what Noh Yuno wanted to happen, then...
"Leave that bastard to ," Gayoon said to the Rogue Clan mbers coldly. "Tell Ryu Sungbin that if he wanted to see his beloved Guide alive, then bring his ass over here."

"SO, THIS IS where you hid Noh Yuno before, Hyung."
Ki Gayoon just raised an eyebrow at Bambi.
Right now, the two of them were inside Beom-seok— the dungeon he owned. And, yes, he brought the pink-haired bastard there.
Not at the mansion, of course.
Gayoon used the Beom-seok’s entrance which was located in his office.
That entrance led to a simple cabin located in the woods— far from his mansion.
I have no intention of bringing this bastard to the space I shared with Noh Yuno.
"We already know that you worked with those bastards who call themselves Noh Yuno’s "siblings,"" Gayoon said, leaning against the chair while crossing his arms over his chest. "Tell . Where did those bastards take Noh Yuno?"
"I don’t know," Bambi said casually, sitting still on the chair across from Gayoon. "Even if you kill , I still can’t give you the answer you want to hear. When we made a deal, I didn’t ask them where they planned to bring Noh Yuno."
Gayoon didn’t want to admit this.
But it didn’t seem like Bambi was lying.
This pink bastard really doesn’t know anything.

"Noh Yuno’s "siblings" are pretty useful, you know?" Bambi said, obviously provoking Gayoon. "We almost didn’t get along. I wanted Noh Yuno gone, but they needed him alive and well."
Gayoon didn’t show it, but he was relieved to hear the last part of what Bambi said.
If those bastards need Noh Yuno alive and well, then they won’t kill him right away. Is that the reason why that punk allowed himself to be kidnapped?
"I was very impressed when they hatched a plan to turn Noh Yuno into a traitor," Bambi said, resting his chin on the palms of his hands. "Getting Noh Yuno witch-hunted by the entire country was a brilliant way of getting him out of my way without killing him."
Ah.
So, that’s why this pink bastard didn’t bother asking where the other bastards would take Noh Yuno.
"Thanks to Noh Yuno’s "siblings," your little lover is now a traitor."
"Didn’t that plan already fail because of the video that Noh Yuno left?"
Bambi laughed sarcastically. "Oh, co on. Do you think the general public would believe Noh Yuno over ? I’m the face of all the Guides in this country. Moreover, once Ryu Sungbin Hyung takes over the governnt, even you will be treated as a traitor, Gayoon Hyung."
"Is that your plan after getting Noh Yuno witch-hunted?"
"To be fair, the governnt has long belonged to us. We’re just going to claim it officially from now on."

Gayoon should be looking for Noh Yuno by now, yes.
However, there were things that he needed to do first.
Yu Minju is already tracing Noh Yuno anyway.
Gayoon got up. "I don’t care whether you rot here or starve to death— you’ll be locked up here until I find Noh Yuno."
Because I want Noh Yuno to kill this pink bastard with his own hands.
"How can an Awakened Person with an Inventory full of food and water starve to death?" Bambi asked sarcastically, smiling "sweetly" at Gayoon. "I’ll wait for you, Gayoon Hyug."

As soon as Ki Gayoon stepped out of his personal dungeon, he got a call from Ryu Sungbin.
Which kind of confused him.
I expected this bastard to co here to my office since I didn’t hide my tracks.
Gayoon, curious about Ryu Sungbin’s whereabouts, picked up the call.
Gayoon rolled his eyes at Ryu Sungbin’s sarcasm. "I know that you know Bambi is still alive. I’m disappointed that you quickly gained your senses, though. It was funny to see you losing your shit when the Rogue Clan Captain showed you the illusion of Bambi getting burned to ashes."
"Get your eyes over here and let’s finish the fight, Ryu Sungbin."
"? Negotiate with you? Ryu Sungbin, I know you don’t even know where Noh Yuno is."
"Why would I need your help—"
"What?"
Fuck it.
Gayoon wasn’t scared of 17— he just found it annoying to deal with another bastard when he should be looking for Noh Yuno.
Should he just erase South Korea from the map?
"Yeah, no," Gayoon said, scoffing. "Do you think you’re the only one with blackmail material here?"
If Ryu Sungbin had the governnt seized, then Gayoon had the Esper Association at the palm of his hand.
