Of course, Yuno should have expected Ki Gayoon to tease him.

"Yes, Ahjuhyung is objectively handso and sexy," Yuno admitted, raising his head to see Ki Gayoon’s smug look. "But that doesn’t an Ahjuhyung is my type."

That took the smugness off of Ki Gayoon’s (unnecessarily handso) face.

"And what is your type?"

"Soone who looks average like . I prefer it if we’re about the sa height," Yuno said bluntly. "I like soone normal."

"Don’t you have a conscience, Noh Yuno?" Ki Gayoon asked, clicking his tongue. "Why would you drag a normal person into your chaotic life?"

"Let’s stop this nonsense," Ki Gayoon said, waving his hand. "Why did you co knocking on my door?"

"Ah, I forgot to tell you," Ki Gayoon said, and it seed like he was being honest. "I signed the form and the Guide Chief sent it to the Esper Association. It’s a bother to explain to the Association, so I just asked Chief Kim to deal with it."

"How can you treat the Guide Chief like your personal servant, Ahjuhyung?"

"You equally hate everyone, Ahjuhyung."

"Damn right," Ki Gayoon admitted without batting an eye. "Anyway, we will announce that you’re my exclusive Guide after the fight."

"Do we have to announce it to the public?"

"If I remain in a vague spot as I do now, we really don’t have to do that. But, after the fight, I’ll be reclaiming my spot in the Top 5."

Ahjuhyung is speaking as if he already won.

"So, we’re obliged to report our matching rate to the public," Ki Gayoon said, and he didn’t look thrilled by the idea. "It’s botherso, but I guess the idea isn’t bad. Once I reclaim my spot, no one will look down on you again."

"A Guide is an Esper’s savior, and an Esper is a Guide’s pride," Yuno said. "That’s sothing Sajangnim said before when a reporter asked him about the symbiotic relationship between a Guide and an Esper."

"Right? Moon Noa’s rubbish back then beca the foundation of the symbiotic relationship between a Guide and an Esper."

"So, don’t embarrass during the fight, Ahjuhyung."

"Don’t worry about that, Noh Yuno. Just worry about what reward to give after I win," Ki Gayoon said, scoffing. "Just so you know, I won’t be satisfied with a simple peck on the lips this ti."

"Then you better prepare yourself, Ahjuhyung," Yuno said, smiling quite bitterly. "You’re about to find out why the E-Class Guides are rarer than S-Class Guides."

"YOU REQUESTED light breakfast, so we only prepared gimbap."

"It’s perfect, Ahjuhyung," Yuno said after taking a piece of gimbap from the entire roll served on a wood tray. "Your chef is good at making simple Korean dishes. I liked their seafood cheesy tteokbokki, fried chicken, and now this."

The other fancy dishes that he had tried before were all good, of course.

But the simple dishes stand out the most.

"You’re getting good at appreciating food," Ki Gayoon said while busy typing furiously on his phone. He hadn’t even touched his food yet. "How about your other assignnt?"

"What assignnt?"

Ki Gayoon raised his head with a knot on his forehead. "You already forgot?"

This scary bastard.

"Of course, I haven’t," Yuno said, relieved that the fear he felt triggered his mories. "There are at least twenty different ice cream flavors in our store. Give more ti to rank them according to what I liked best, Ahjuhyung."

"Very well," Ki Gayoon said, and then he changed the topic. "Moon Noa will pick you up and bring you to the Esper Association."

The fight between Ki Gayoon and Yang Younjae was scheduled today.

And it would be held at the Esper Association Main HQ.

It was bombed more than a week ago, but Beom-seok Constructions fixed it right away.

"How about you, Ahjuhyung?" Yuno asked curiously. "You haven’t forgotten that today is your match against Esper Yang Youngjae, have you?"

"I’ll be there before the match begins," Ki Gayoon said confidently. "I just need to take care of sothing first."

It’s probably related to why Ahjuhyung has been glued to his phone all morning.

Yuno just remained stoic while Kwak Hakjae— the Esper Association Head, also the forr President before Cheol Kang took power— pat his shoulders. "Hyung-nim, that hurts."

Despite Kwak Hakjae’s fancy titles, he would always be ’Hyung-nim’ to Yuno.

Hyung-nim was actually the one who took care of after Sajangnim took under his wing.

"You turned the National Guide Bureau upside down on your first day of work," Kwak Hakjae said while laughing as if he was proud of Yuno. "You should have seen Chief Kim Munhee’s face when she ca to my office and asked to approve Esper Ki Gayoon’s official duel request. Esper Ki Gayoon treated her like his personal servant and she couldn’t even complain because the President doesn’t want to upset that bastard."

After all, Ki Gayoon pretty much wrote off the governnt’s debts to Beom-seok Constructions.

"Hyung-nim, I know we’re in your private office, but please tone it down," Moon Noa scolded Kwak Hakjae. "You already have a bad relationship with the National Guide Bureau. The Espers will side with the Bureau if you fight again, and you know that."

After all, the National Guide Bureau was practically holding the Espers’ precious Guides hostages.

Let’s change the topic.

"Sajangnim, Hyung-nim, I need your permission," Yuno said in a serious tone. "I intend to guide Esper Ki Gayoon the "E-Class way" after he wins the fight."

Moon Noa and Kwak Hakjae both looked shocked, and then the two frowned.
