Considering the feelings that Yuan Ni had for Shao Xia, Su Mo knew why he did this. And what about Shao Xia? Where is she? When she saw that Yuan Ni was in trouble, she ran away and hid far away. Yuan Ni’s painful scream echoed in the cave, and Su Mo scrambled to one side when he saw what was happening. He looked at Priestess Yuan and then at the stick in her hands. He gulped in terror and was really glad that he was a bit more agile, or else he would have been caught in the crossfire. Fortunately, he escaped just in ti or else–
But what happened to Priestess Yuan? Since when did she beco so crazy? Did Yuan Ni finally drive her to madness?
Yuan Ni, despite his illness, jumped in the air. He rubbed the spot that was hit and looked at his grandmother in shock. He couldn’t be blad. His grandmother had never hit him before, but now, all of a sudden, she was hitting him. Yuan Ni couldn’t understand how his grandmother could hit him when he was already in so much pain. He looked at her with shock in his eyes. Fortunately, no one in the tribe knew that he had been beaten by his grandmother, or else he would be embarrassed to death.
"Grandmother, what are you doing?" Yuan Ni glanced at Su Mo. Fortunately, the r was just as shocked as he was and was his best friend. He wouldn’t spread this matter out in the open. "Why did you hit ?"
Priestess Yuan noticed his little actions. She narrowed her eyes and said to the r, "What? You still have any reputation left to worry about? You swallowed poisonous mushrooms and almost ended up dying. You are lucky that Ruan Chanchan knew how to deal with that toxic mushroom, or else you would have died without knowing how you died. You brat, tell , are you trying to kill ?"
As she spoke, she raised the stick in her hand and started hitting Yuan Ni. It didn’t matter how that r tried to run; he was still hit in the back, side or front. Even if he tried to escape, no matter how many tis he tried to escape, Priestess Yuan would end up hitting him. She hit him every ti he tried to dodge it, leaving him with no other choice but to run behind Su Mo.
"Grandmother, have you gone crazy? How could you even hit ?" Yuan Ni never expected his grandmother to be so ruthless. She actually started hitting him the second she returned. Was she trying to kill him? He just rose from an illness. No, he didn’t even get better, and his grandmother was already chasing him with a stick.
"Yuan Ni, what are you doing?" Su Mo was scared shitless when he saw that the r had hidden behind him. He was not the one who asked Yuan Ni to eat the poisonous mushrooms. Why was he hiding behind him? Because of him, he would get beaten up as well.
"You are my good friend, aren’t you? Can’t you protect a little?" Yuan Ni pushed his good brother in front of Priestess Yuan, as he knew that his grandmother wouldn’t hit him, at least.
"Su Mo, step out or else I will beat you as well!" Priestess Yuan was really angry. This brat really knew how to cause trouble for her. Fortunately, Ruan Chanchan was with them, or else this stupid r would have died today. If she didn’t teach him a good lesson, then she wouldn’t be called Priestess Yuan.
When Su Mo heard the threat in Priestess Yuan’s words, he knew that the woman was not joking. If he didn’t step away, then he would be beaten as well. Thinking about how Yuan Ni was the one who made the mistake and how he was the one who ended up causing this trouble, he imdiately decided to abandon his good brother. Anyway, Priestess Yuan was his own grandmother; she would not hit him too hard. At least she wasn’t going to kill him.

Yuan Ni watched in silence as his good brother ran out of the cave and then turned to look at his grandmother, who was breathing as if she were the incarnation of the god of death.
