He paused, hesitating as if he was deciding whether to speak or not.
Noticing this, Rong Xian said somberly, "You can tell the truth if you want; there is no need for you to hide the truth."
"I heard from others that the first person who found that totem warrior’s body was Ruan Chanchan."
An eerie silence stretched across the crowd. Rong Xian pursed his lips and didn’t say a thing. After a long pause, he sighed and then said to the guards, "Keep this matter to yourselves for now. Don’t say anything to anyone. Just because she was the first one to find the body does not an that she is linked to the remnants. Try not to say anything that would cause trouble."
The guards nodded and then disappeared.
Rong Xian turned his attention back to the flowing sea. He hoped that he was not trusting the wrong person.
