The Iron Serpent still retained the scorching heat, with the demon hunters holding onto the edge of the wreckage to avoid being thrown off this speeding serpent. The pain and the chill of the storm disturbed their minds, leaving them bewildered about what had gone wrong.
Suddenly, sharp hooks embedded in the Iron Serpent before the demon hunters could react. Sharp nail swords tore through the veil of rain, severing flesh and bone that hindered them.
A wound ripped open along the neck, splashing blood, revealing the internal severed section clearly. The demon hunter's face still held that startled expression as his eyes tried to look back, attempting to understand what happened in that brief mont, but he could only see the rushing whirlwind of death.
Upon landing on the Iron Serpent, Lorenzo released the hook gun, gripping the nail sword with both hands, sweeping it to whip up a storm of wind and blood.
The whole body spun forcefully, the storm perfectly obscured his figure. For the demon hunters, it was an unbelievable assault; they were the hunters, Lorenzo the prey, and now the prey had set traps, striking in the hunters' presence.
As a head was chopped off, another gaping wound appeared on another demon hunter. Lorenzo first slashed his front demon hunter, giving him a brief defensive chance as he raised the nail sword in front of his chest. But what followed was the massive force of colliding blades.
Rain soaked the ground, combined with the blowing gale, leaving him unsteady for a mont, swaying slightly before the stormy sword pressure pressed down.
The actions were clean and smooth; it was a hunt, a counterattack, a revenge. Lorenzo gave no one a chance, kicking the headless body, letting it tumble and fall into that vast white behind.
Demon hunters also had fatal weaknesses; when the Secret Blood hadn't completely risen yet, they were rely extraordinary mortals. Cutting off the head could effectively kill a demon hunter at this stage. Just like when Lorenzo was hit by a carriage, then the Secret Blood hadn't awakened, Lorenzo was rely physically stronger than normal people.
The awakening of Secret Blood requires ti, although it's brief for demon hunters, even a few seconds is sufficient, but those few seconds can be a fatal weakness.
The head filled with amazent looked at Lorenzo; upon being decapitated, he already awakened the Secret Blood, but it was too late. Blood gushed from the severed part, beneath strong vitality, he wanted to say sothing, but without trachea support, only blood kept gushing from his mouth and nose.
The gradually lifeless pupils reflected Lorenzo's slaughter, heavy slices crazily striking at the demon hunter ahead. This adverse weather affected everyone, yet Lorenzo chopped faster in the cold storm, the surging blade montum like a tornado.
Ti, Lorenzo needed ti. The Iron Serpent's explosion already accomplished the surprise attack effect. During this, he killed a demon hunter whose Secret Blood hadn't risen yet. Now, his arrival attracted every demon hunter's attention, and he could no longer deliver such lethal blows as before; he must weaken as many demon hunters as possible before the Secret Blood boiled.
"Die!"
The demon hunter in front found the gap in Lorenzo's attack, a fatal gap. He attempted a counterattack, the nail sword coated with Holy Silver sliced through the rain, slashing down along his expected path, directly aiming at Lorenzo's neck. If he exerted more force, he could decapitate Lorenzo.
A smile of delight spread across the demon hunter's face, but soon it froze.
The nail sword fell, accompanied by sparks, a tallic clang resounded, and at this mont, the wind disturbed the obscuring rain, revealing Lorenzo's burning eyes and the robust armor covering his body.
This was a feint; Lorenzo intentionally exposed this flaw. Under his sudden assault, the demon hunter bore imnse pressure, yearning for a counterattack, thus he wouldn't miss Lorenzo's attack gap, and Lorenzo just needed to retaliate at this ti.
Everything was within Lorenzo's calculations; every step in the demon hunter's psychology was in his predictions, the armor blocked this attack, and at this ti, because of the attack, ample space appeared before the demon hunter's chest. The nail sword fell like blazing white lightning, piercing through his shoulders, Lorenzo forcefully tugged the blade, slicing bloodily through his arms.
Flas surged instantly on the two of them, Secret Blood boiled in the demon hunter's body. At this mont, he was no longer a mortal body. Though he lost his arms, under Secret Blood's shelter, this strike wouldn't kill him.
He thought this, and the trigger pulling sound erged before him.
Lorenzo embedded the nail sword into the steel beneath his feet, gripping the short-barreled shotgun, wedged firmly against his chest, while the other nail sword at this ti already pierced his neck sideways.
As the trigger was pulled, the demon hunter's body shook violently, followed by a blood mist spraying from his back, but soon washed away by the storm.
Several tal pellets shattered his heart, Lorenzo didn't even glance at him, extracted the nail sword, kicking the corpse off the Iron Serpent.
