On February 14, CE72, the wreckage of Junius 7 in Earth's orbital debris belt welcod a large group of visitors.

These guests ca from the five most powerful nations in the Earth Sphere. Over a dozen warships dispatched Mobile Suits to clear away various fragnts and debris around Junius 7, preventing any MS or individuals from hiding behind the rubble to snipe the treaty signing ceremony at close range.

Subsequently, the warships retreated to outer space for defensive positioning.

Since this was a peace treaty signing, the New Misurugi Kingdom didn't send any particularly extravagant warships, bringing only two vessels in total - one Argama-class and one Constellation-class.

Other nations followed similar approaches. The East Asian Republic rely sent two Nelson-class ships for appearances, even privately joking with Reid that "if anything goes wrong, the signing representatives should just run toward the Argama-class - our two ships are just here for show."

The Eurasian Federation was in a similar situation, arriving with two Nelson-class ships. Seeing the East Asian Republic joking with Reid, they shalessly chid in saying "that's a great idea," indicating they'd also flee toward the New Misurugi Kingdom's ships alongside the East Asian Republic if trouble arose.

Watching the foreign ministers of these two nations behaving so shalessly, Reid could only say "welco" without any other response.

As for the Atlantic Federation and PLANT, these two nations displayed so competitive spirit.

They each sent two Agamnon-class and Nazca-class ships respectively. Although neither side had vessels as advanced as the Argama-class, everyone understood that the New Misurugi Kingdom sending Argama and Constellation-class ships was equivalent to the East Asian Republic sending Nelson-class vessels - because their two-kiloter-class flagship hadn't been deployed.

anwhile, the Agamnon-class and Nazca-class remained the top capital ships for the Atlantic Federation and PLANT respectively, not secondary warships.

However, both the Atlantic Federation and PLANT clearly had no intention of disrupting the treaty signing ceremony, transferring their ships to the periphery as agreed.

As for the MS conducting patrols and blockades, each nation only deployed five units, essentially just for show.

The East Asian Republic and Eurasian Federation both dispatched Celestial Soldiers, while the New Misurugi Kingdom deployed a combination of two Ghost Jegans and three Assault GM Dominions.

The Atlantic Federation fielded five entirely Saber units, specifically the GAT-01A2R Slaughter Short Sword models that weren't supposed to appear in large numbers until a year later.

Naturally, PLANT refused to be outdone, pulling out the ZGMF-601R GINN R - originally just an interim machine - to maintain appearances.

These ten new models, plus the New Misurugi Kingdom's two Ghost Jegans with their unique backpacks, could have constituted an entire MS new model exhibition.

However, no combat weapons were present at the actual signing venue.

All participants arrived at the signing location via their respective shuttlecraft.

Since diplomatic ministers couldn't reasonably sign treaties in spacesuits, a large civilian shuttlecraft provided by PLANT - the Silver Wind (originally Lacus morial Group's transport) - now hovered directly above the Junius 7 wreckage as the signing venue.

anwhile, Lacus piloted the Diva Gundam outside. Once the treaty was signed aboard the ship and the morial stone engraved, she would personally place it upon the Junius 7 wreckage and perform the morial song.

Of course, during the singing, engineering Mobile Suits from the Earth Alliance, PLANT, and the New Misurugi Kingdom would also arrive to reinforce the monunt.

Knowing the history, Reid had specifically instructed Mu and Jane Houston before departure to keep a close watch on the engineering Mobile Suits from PLANT and the Earth Alliance, and to apprehend them imdiately at the slightest sign of movent.

As the signing ceremony officially began inside the Silver Wind, Mu and Jane Houston outside grew increasingly tense.

Mu, piloting the Ghost Jegans F Dragoon Pack, used the sniper lens to monitor the training GINN from PLANT from an ultra-long distance. He inquired over the squad comms, "Jane, any movent on your end?"

Jane Houston responded imdiately, "None for now. I'm monitoring the unard Strike Dagger deployed by the Atlantic Federation through intelligent imaging technology from behind an asteroid. Given the Strike Dagger's performance, it's impossible for it to conceal anything under this surveillance system. If anyone intends to attack using an engineering Mobile Suit, it's likely the training GINN on your side. The flag held by the Mobile Suit could easily be replaced with a gun barrel."

Mu understood the situation and nodded, saying, "Don't worry. If that Mobile Suit makes any suspicious moves, I'll use the Dragoons to destroy its weapons first and then capture it."

After saying this, Mu addressed the three other patrolling mbers of the squad: "Daya, Adil, Encarta (all original characters), have any of you noticed anything unusual?"

Daya, Adil, and Encata quickly replied, "Reporting, Captain. No suspicious Mobile Suits detected on our end. No signs of anyone hiding in the debris field either."

Mu nodded and responded, "Check carefully. If soone is using a feint—distracting us with a Mobile Suit while sending people to drift toward the ship and detonate externally—we'd be in serious trouble."

Hearing this, the three junior MS pilots did not dare slack off and began ticulously searching through the debris, piece by piece.

This behavior seed odd to the patrol teams from other nations. The patrol leader from the East Asian Republic directly contacted Mu and asked, "Colonel Mu, what is your patrol team searching for? There shouldn't be any gold hidden in these debris, right?"

Mu saw no reason to hide the truth from the East Asian Republic, as it was highly unlikely they would send anyone to attack the venue. "We've received intelligence that soone intends to disrupt the signing of the Earth Sphere Peace Accord by attacking the venue. We're searching the debris to prevent anyone from hiding inside and drifting unnoticed toward the venue."

The East Asian Republic patrol leader was imdiately alard. The attendees today included so of the most prominent figures from each nation, with PLANT even sending Acting Chairwoman Eileen Canaver. If an attack were to occur here, it could trigger a full-scale war across the Earth Sphere.

If Reid Isaac were to die here, no one could predict how Queen Angelise would retaliate.

Just as the East Asian Republic patrol leader was about to ask for more details, Mu noticed the training GINN beginning to move suspiciously. He cut in, "Well, well, there's movent after all. Let's talk later."

As soon as Mu ended the communication, the East Asian Republic patrol leader grew tense and shouted over the team comms, "Whoever is closest to the New Misurugi Kingdom patrol leader, get over there now and see what's happening!"

However, the East Asian Republic patrol leader had already reacted too late.

From Mu's perspective, the training GINN from PLANT suddenly sprang into action, flying toward a debris cluster likely ford from the wreckage of Junius 7's destroyed structures.

Mu didn't hesitate, imdiately activating the Electronic Camouflage System and moving closer to the training GINN's position.

En route, Mu's sniper cara observed the training GINN punching through the outer wall of the debris, retrieving a sniper rifle ant for a Recon ZINN.

Instantly, Mu understood—the opposition wasn't foolish either. They wouldn't make sothing as conspicuous as a flagpole hollow; if inspectors had it replaced with a solid one, all their efforts would be wasted.

So, hiding the sniper rifle in this wreckage ensured it went undetected. After all, elongated tal readings in such structures were perfectly normal, and main reinforcent bars could be twisted into any shape.

However, the mont the training GINN obtained the rifle but before it could aim, Mu deactivated the camouflage, deployed the Dragoons, and with a raised shot, blasted the sniper rifle to pieces.

With full video evidence, Mu could legally destroy the training GINN outright, but wanting to capture the pilot alive, Mu only targeted the weapon.

The next second, several Dragoons ford an energy barrier, trapping the training GINN inside. Mission accomplished, Mu aid the Beam Rifle at the training GINN's cockpit and declared:

"Stay put, you're captured. Cooperate with the interrogation, and you'll suffer less."

But Mu overlooked one thing: the person piloting this Mobile Suit had to be a deeply embedded mber of PLANT's anti-Natural faction. Such racial fanatics didn't fear death.

The training GINN's pilot imdiately cursed:

"Inferior Natural, you won't learn anything from !"

With that, the pilot self-destructed the training GINN.

Mu hadn't expected such defiance—a single statent followed by self-destruction.

Confined within the barrier, the explosion's force multiplied, instantly shattering the Dragoons' energy containnt from within.

The blast alerted all patrol units and warships, and instantly, communications flooded Mu's channel with chaotic demands to explain the situation.

Though Mu had complete video proof, there was no chance to clarify amid the barrage of accusatory questions—exactly what the attackers intended.

The training GINN's sniper attack was rely Plan A; its failure triggered Plan B.

The GINN's explosion diverted all patrol attention to the blast site, creating a gap in the defensive line.

From the debris field directly opposite the training GINN, a Shuttlecraft suddenly erged at full thrust, heading straight to ram the Silver Wind above the Junius 7 wreckage.

Simultaneously, Plan C activated: five or six individuals in pilot suits with thrusters erged from a flanking asteroid cluster, each carrying high-explosive bombs, clearly planning to suicide-bomb the ship.

The attackers had planned thoroughly.

The training GINN's explosion and the kamikaze Shuttlecraft successfully drew everyone's focus—no one would notice the humans, large as they were, at this critical mont.

Unfortunately, Jane Houston's Ghost Jegan M was equipped with human-targeting detectors, so the mont they erged, they were spotted by the Ghost Jegan M.

At this ti, the Ghost Jegan F was using a Hound Pack, which could detach and transform into an unmanned chanical dog with extrely high speed.

Jane Houston directly locked onto the shuttlecraft preparing for a kamikaze attack, deploying the chanical dog to eliminate the target while she went to capture those attempting to approach the Silver Wind using small thrusters.

The Ghost Jegan M's chanical dog was highly intelligent, and the kamikaze shuttlecraft was shot down from a great distance with a single blast.

As for those attempting to assault, Jane Houston controlled her Mobile Suit to remove its shield, scooping and pulling it in one motion. The attackers trapped in the shield's concave were either killed or knocked unconscious upon impact.

Reid had given orders: if possible, capture the attackers alive, but if not, it was acceptable. Ensuring the completion of the signing ceremony was the top priority.

These attackers likely had no Plan D left.

When the shuttlecraft appeared, everyone realized they had fallen for a diversion.

Fortunately, no major disaster occurred. The individuals trapped in Jane Houston's Ghost Jegan M shield were taken aboard the Constellation-class Battleship for identity checks. Any survivors would receive the best dical treatnt before facing joint interrogation by the five nations.

Shifting the scene to the signing ceremony aboard the Silver Wind, when the training GINN self-destructed, the dignitaries from various countries were inford by their subordinates that attackers had appeared.

This was not unexpected, as none of the ministers on-site were frightened enough to propose suspending the signing process and retreating.

Many people saw the shuttlecraft preparing for the kamikaze attack, but it was shot down by the Hound Pack within seconds, so no one backed out at that mont.

A few minutes later, all countries received news that the attackers had been either eliminated or captured, and the signing ceremony naturally proceeded.

According to the agreed procedure, the Earth Alliance and PLANT first signed the formal ceasefire agreent.

Due to the existence of the Earth Sphere Peace Accord, the ceasefire between the Earth Alliance and PLANT was straightforward. Both sides rely announced the cessation of hostilities, agreed to handle their own war criminals, and release prisoners of war.

In contrast, the Earth Sphere Peace Accord was much more lively.

Representatives from each country and Reid gathered around the round table for the signing, following the order of their countries' initials.

This was a self-deceptive maneuver orchestrated by the Atlantic Federation, as the Atlantic Federation (starting with DX) and the East Asian Republic (starting with DY) were the first and second to sign.

The subsequent order naturally placed the Eurasian Federation (starting with O), PLANT (starting with P), and the New Misurugi Kingdom (starting with X) last.

If this were a surrender agreent, the first to sign would typically be the defeated party.

But in an equal peace agreent, the first to sign usually bears the primary obligations. The Atlantic Federation was flaunting its role as a representative of peace.

However, the other four nations considered this elentary school-level attempt to grab symbolic advantage too childish, so Reid did not argue with the Atlantic Federation, allowing them to sign first.

Thus, when the agreent was passed from PLANT's acting chairman, Eileen Canaver, to Reid, Eileen Canaver remarked, "Lord Reid, I hope that after this agreent is signed, the Earth Sphere will usher in genuine peace."

Reid knew this peace would indeed co, but it was rely the calm before the storm—a respite of less than two years before war would erupt again.

Yet at this mont, Reid still voiced aloud:

"Of course, as long as everyone earnestly upholds the accord, peace will arrive."

With these words, Reid signed his na as the representative of the New Misurugi Kingdom.

Thus, the Earth Sphere Peace Accord officially took effect, and the five nations' representatives shook hands.

The accord was imdiately engraved onto a stone slab and delivered from the Silver Wind's cargo bay to the Songstress vessel outside.

Following procedure, Lacus activated the Psychic Wave Diffusion Device. The GN Particle storage tanks of the Mobile Suits began dispersing GN Particles, and Lacus's song echoed in the minds of everyone across the Space Zone.
