Colonel Jacqueline's judgnt wasn't actually wrong. Under normal circumstances, even if the Pink Cross was built on the Neo-Argama's foundation, it couldn't possibly handle an assault by the elite Phantom Pain Unit alone.

It must be understood that due to the New Misurugi Kingdom's continuous mass production of troops using Mobile Doll technology, the Earth Alliance Three Nations had to keep pace, ensuring they had sufficient forces to counterbalance them.

However, the Earth Alliance's Mobile Doll technology simply couldn't be applied to practical MS combat, forcing them to rely on human pilots.

This directly led to the requirent for warships transporting MS to have greater MS carrying capacity and the ability to accommodate enough personnel.

Consequently, in this CE Universe heavily influenced by Reid, the Earth Alliance Forces' warships were sowhat larger than in the original work. This specially modified Gadi Ru-class battleship had a carrier capacity of twenty Mobile Suits. Even after three Slash Daggers were instantly destroyed by the Strike Gundam earlier, fourteen still remained.

Unfortunately, Colonel Jacqueline miscalculated on two points.

First, the actual combat capabilities of the three Enhanced Person pilots led by Swen were inferior to those of the New Three Strong previously led by Neo Roanoke. They simply couldn't, like the First Generation Three Strong, manage to restrain Kira—who had activated SEED—three against one while at a disadvantage in their Mobile Suits.

The current reality was that Kira hadn't even activated SEED, yet Swen and the other two were already fighting perilously close to defeat. If Kira hadn't been deliberately targeting the arms and heads of the three machines, the battle would likely have been over in just three to five exchanges.

Second, Colonel Jacqueline sowhat underestimated the capabilities of the Civilian Type Astray DSSD Modified Mobile Suit.

Although the performance of the Civilian Type Astray was among the lowest tier of the many MS in the original CE Universe, probably vying with the Strike Dagger for the title of weakest MS. (The GINN's MS performance was actually slightly better than the Strike Dagger's; the Strike Dagger only had the advantage of possessing Beam Weapons.)

But this DSSD Modified version was sowhat different.

While the Mobile Suit's output and structure remained unchanged, D.S.S.D.'s primary mission was deep space exploration research. Therefore, this model's head was equipped with a High-Precision Optical Sensor, and to protect the sensor from damage by micro-debris, it was fitted with a special face shield.

This modification gave the Civilian Type Astray DSSD Modified superior targeting capabilities compared to so of the Earth Alliance's specialized sniper Mobile Suits.

Regarding propulsion, this Civilian Type Astray DSSD Modified employed a Hybrid Propulsion System combining traditional thrusters with an Electromagnetic Propulsion system. This propulsion system was, in fact, the foundational system of the Starlight Transmitter.

Thus, in terms of short-range maneuvering agility, the Civilian Type Astray DSSD Modified even surpassed ZAFT's Zaku Warrior.

These two improvents, combined with its equipped Support KMS71/J Beam Pistol, were sufficient to deliver combat effectiveness in close-range firefights comparable to the Earth Alliance's current mass-produced MS.

Of course, this combat effectiveness refers to offensive capability. In terms of defense, the Civilian Type Astray DSSD Modified fully inherited the traits of the standard Civilian Type Astray—fragile as paper. Forget sothing like an Electromagnetic Cannon; even the head-mounted "Porcupine Array II" 40mm Anti-Air Vulcan Cannon of a Slash Dagger could punch holes in its fra.

However, because the Phantom Pain Unit's Slash Daggers aid to capture the Pink Cross, they had to assault the Mothership.

The Civilian Type Astray DSSD Modified only needed to circle around the Pink Cross, using the ship's covering fire to force the Slash Daggers to engage in its most comfortable combat zone.

Even so, the casualty ratio between the Civilian Type Astray DSSD Modified and the Slash Daggers still reached 3:1, but this was already the best possible outco.

At least the Pink Cross remained unscathed under the cover of nurous Civilian Type Astray DSSD Modified units, preventing the Phantom Pain Unit's Slash Daggers from getting close.

Seeing this, Colonel Jacqueline was sowhat rattled, as even a fool could tell now that Swen and the other two truly couldn't hold out much longer.

The two electromagnetic cannons on the Duel Gundam IWSP Backpack had already been taken out by the Strike Gundam.

The two shoulder cannons of the Erald Storm Gundam t the sa fate, and due to its poor mobility, it also lost its right arm.

The Dark Assault Gundam fared slightly better, only having the right wing of its backpack damaged, leaving the Mobile Suit symtrical on both sides now.

It could only be said that even three lesser demons were no match for Sun Wukong.

And if the Dark Assault Gundam, Erald Storm Gundam, and Duel Gundam IWSP were defeated, the best outco for Colonel Jacqueline today would be a successful retreat to seek other reinforcents.

Of course, reality often brings double misfortune rather than double blessings.

Just as Colonel Jacqueline was considering whether surrendering now might an losing only half the battle, the CIC notified the entire crew that they might be heading for cremation.

The CIC announcer's voice trembled slightly as he reported:

"Heat signatures detected at the rear of the ship. This is... the New Misurugi Kingdom's Joyeuse Gundam (its na was announced after the Moon battle), Blade Angel Gundam, NT-X2 Gundam, and GP-08 (Phantom Rose) β. Further behind them is the Gran Chaos."

Upon hearing this, Colonel Jacqueline imdiately abandoned any thought of surrender.

Reid Isaac deeply despised human experintation, and her ship carried many Enhanced Persons. Falling into Reid Isaac's hands would an no good outco for her.

Thus, Colonel Jacqueline looked at the DSSD's Small Colonial Satellite ahead and hardened her resolve.

Colonel Jacqueline had always been a ruthless commander, willing to go to any lengths to achieve her goals, which was why she was fit to command the Phantom Pain Unit.

Now, gritting her teeth, she declared:

"Full speed ahead for the ship. Ram it directly into the DSSD's Small Colonial Satellite. We cannot let the New Misurugi Kingdom obtain what's inside, or our chances of winning this war will diminish further.

After setting the ship's acceleration and confirming the course, all of you abandon ship. I'll handle the rest.

Once you've abandoned ship, surrender directly to the Pink Cross. As a ship of the International Rescue Team, your chances of survival will be much higher if you surrender to them."

With Colonel Jacqueline's orders, the crew of the Gadi Ru-class Battleship's bridge said nothing more. They set the program and imdiately abandoned ship.

For the Phantom Pain Unit, everyone knew how many dirty deeds they had committed, which made them especially fearful of death.

They understood that if hell truly existed in this world, they would surely be condemned to it after death.

In truth, Colonel Jacqueline was no different. She simply knew that falling into Reid Isaac's hands might be worse than death, so she decided to fulfill one final mission for her country with her life.

However, just as the Gadi Ru-class battleship's thrusters were pushed to maximum and it had barely begun accelerating, before even the lifeboats could be deployed, a crimson figure suddenly appeared before the bridge.

The newcor was naturally the Joyeuse Gundam.

On his way to the battlefield, Reid had already noticed through remote caras that Kira was close to finishing off the three Phantom Pain Unit Mobile Suits: the Noir Strike Gundam, the Verde Buster Gundam, and the Duel Gundam IWSP.

Originally, Reid wasn't in a hurry to reach the battlefield. After all, Lacus wasn't in danger, and even if those Civilian Type Astray DSSD Modified units were lost, the cost would be minimal once split among all shareholders. Moreover, letting DSSD suffer so losses in combat power would weaken internal opposition when he later took his people away.

But during his journey, Reid saw the Gadi Ru-class battleship suddenly max out its thrusters and instantly realized that, having discovered their retreat was cut off, they might be preparing for a kamikaze attack.

It was important to rember that DSSD was his investnt. If the entire colonial satellite were destroyed, all his investnt would go down the drain.

Without a second thought, Reid imdiately activated Trans-AM.

However, using the Thirty-Thousand ter Sword to slash a mothership would have been too much of an honor for the Phantom Pain Unit.

So this ti, Reid only used Trans-AM to accelerate his approach. Once he reached the bridge of the Gadi Ru-class, he fired a single shot that blew it apart.

Following the principle of bombs planted beneath the bridge, the Gadi Ru-class erupted in a chain of explosions after the bridge was destroyed, completely disintegrating into space debris.

Seeing the enemy mothership destroyed by Reid, Lacus imdiately broadcasted on all channels:

"Soldiers of the Earth Alliance Forces' 81st Independent Mobile Unit, Phantom Pain, your mothership has been sunk. Please surrender. The outco of this battle is already decided. There is no need to cause further unnecessary casualties."

Lacus's words carried a natural charm, and with their mothership destroyed and commanders annihilated, the remaining Phantom Pain MS pilots found it impossible to refuse.

Almost the mont Lacus finished speaking, all remaining Phantom Pain Mobile Suits—including the Noir Strike Gundam, Verde Buster Gundam, and Duel Gundam IWSP—released their weapons and raised their Mobile Suits' hands in a gesture of surrender.

The DSSD forces naturally refrained from attacking further once the enemy surrendered.

Since Lacus had already called for their surrender, Reid decided to honor her request. After all, the remaining Phantom Pain pilots were mostly Enhanced Persons. Capturing them could serve as evidence of the Atlantic Federation's anti-human Enhanced Person experints, making them not entirely useless.

Although the Atlantic Federation was already too mired in scandals to care, adding another charge would give Reid one more reason to eliminate it and carve its na into the historical pillar of sha in the future.

Since the remaining Phantom Pain pilots surrendered voluntarily, the subsequent detention work proceeded smoothly, and all Mobile Suits were recovered into the Gran Chaos.

Once everything was settled, Reid led his team directly into DSSD's small colonial satellite to inspect the Stargazer Gundam.

Of course, before seeing the Stargazer Gundam, Reid first had to face a small Shura Field.

Upon entering the DSSD colonial satellite, the ones who ca to greet him were naturally Lacus and her group, whose ship was also docked at the port.

As the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder. The mont Lacus saw Reid, she rushed over and gave him a hug first.

Reid naturally didn't refuse, but after embracing Lacus, he clearly sensed Flay behind him let out a very soft "tch" and her mood visibly soured.

However, most of Flay's displeasure here was directed at Lacus. After all, ever since their first encounter, she had felt that she and Lacus simply didn't get along.

Reid also knew that if he wanted harmony in his harem at this mont, he couldn't focus on just one person's feelings. After all, not everyone was like the Xia sisters, who wouldn't even feel jealous even if Reid asked them to help him forcibly take won, as long as he continued to keep them by his side.

So, after hugging Lacus and gazing at her affectionately for a while, Reid took the initiative to take Flay's hand, then joined it with Lacus's, and said with a smile:

"Lacus, Flay will be your sister from now on. Later, please show her around this Colony Satellite properly. I need to go see Dr. Serene."

Through Reid's actions, Lacus instantly understood what he ant. However, Flay becoming a sister was not at all surprising to Lacus.

Thus, Lacus said very kindly to Flay:

"Is that so? Then, little sister Flay, co with . There are quite a few interesting places in DSSD."

Here, Lacus was actually being a bit sly. Although her actual age was one year older than Flay's, to outsiders, Flay definitely appeared more mature. Previously, when the two interacted, they addressed each other as "Miss XX."

So, by calling her "little sister Flay," Lacus was subtly implying that, whether in terms of age or order of joining, she was now the elder.

Flay understood the rules, so she didn't dwell on this matter. Although she still felt displeased inside, in front of Reid, she said:

"Then I'll trouble you, sister Lacus."

After saying this, Lacus and Flay left hand in hand.

At this mont, Kira, who had watched the entire scene from the side, couldn't help but feel a bit envious of Reid.

In this tiline, Kira's feelings toward Lacus were fine. After all, in this world, the two had never been ambiguous. To Kira, Lacus was first Athrun's fiancée and later Reid's person, so he didn't dare to entertain any wild thoughts.

However, Kira still felt a slight regret regarding Flay, his white moonlight.

So, when Flay truly ended up with Reid, Kira couldn't help but feel envious. After all, Reid was now openly maintaining a harem, sothing any man would envy.

Oh, wait—perhaps Athrun wouldn't envy him, because he was also a harem protagonist.

As far as Kira knew, Cagalli had long since fallen for him, and Ashley Oliveira, whom they had rescued in South Arica earlier, naturally couldn't escape either.

Just like with Reid's situation, Ashley Oliveira was now Cagalli's advisor. Over the past two years, it was with her help that Cagalli had gradually beco more like a politician and improved her control over Orb.

However, Kira had forgotten one thing at this mont: won are very sensitive to how their boyfriends or husbands look at other won.

And since they had co to pick up Reid, Miriallia was naturally by his side.

Miriallia knew that Kira had once liked Flay, so she instantly understood the look in his eyes now.

For Kira, who had soone by his side yet still yearned for his unattainable white moonlight, Miriallia didn't hesitate to grab the soft flesh at his waist and give it a sharp twist.

Kira was also flesh and blood, but he couldn't just jump up and shout in front of Reid, so his expression instantly beca exceptionally vivid.

Reid watched this scene and remarked that Miriallia had trained her husband well.

Then he thought to himself, thankfully his Harem Leader was Ange. If Ange were a Jealous Person, Reid would never have been able to start a Harem—he would have been beaten to death long ago.

Thus, Reid decided to twist the knife further and said directly:

"Miriallia, why don't you take Kira for an Exclusive Interview? He just fought against the Earth Alliance's Enhanced Person unit. When the Enhanced Human News is released, they'll need Kira's statent."

Upon hearing this, Kira's eyes widened in disbelief—Miriallia still needed to interview him separately? They slept in the sa bed every night.

Mr. Reid, you're setting up!!
