With a smile, Lin ilin raised both her arms in front of her towards Yang Ze with her index finger pointing towards the sky.
Yang Ze watched carefully, afraid to miss any detail as Lin ilin narrowed her eyes, and in that instant, on the top of her right finger, a small ball of water appeared, and on the top of her left finger, what seed to be a piece of the ground appeared.
"Elental rging is all about rging different elents for the most effective use." Speaking this sentence, she flicked her fingers towards Yang Ze as both the water ball and the piece of ground shot towards Yang Ze, who still couldn’t move his body.
Compared to before, Yang Ze was extrely calm. By now, he realised that it was Lin ilin’s way of letting him understand the strength of Core Condensation realm powerhouses firsthand.
He watched intently as the ball of water and the piece of land suddenly rged with each other before turning into what looked like mud.
*Plap
Yang Ze could only watch helplessly as the mud hit him on the face and, in an instant, covered his entire body.
Even though he couldn’t move, he could clearly feel the slimy texture all over his body as well as the resistance in the mud.
"Not only that." Lin ilin simply smiled as the mud seeped onto the ground below Yang Ze before turning into quicksand as it began to swallow him.
"I see." Yang Ze couldn’t help but click his tongue in amazent as he saw everything unfolding in front of his eyes.
"What else?" Now he was getting more and more excited to see what else a Core Condensation realm powerhouse could do.
In response to his question, Lin ilin simply snapped her fingers before a ball of fire appeared in her hands, soon followed by a gust of extre wind.
The mont the fire made contact with the wind, the entire area around Yang Ze seed to have turned into a sea of fla. Lin ilin ever waved a few wind blades in the distance that, after coming in contact with fla, turned into fire blades.
Looking at Yang Ze’s sparkling eyes that seed ot have discovered a new toy, Lin ilin almost laughed out loud. With a smile, she once again flicked her finger, rging the fire with the ground, turning it into a pool of lava.
"So, can a Core Condesnation powerhouse combine more than two elents?" This was what Yang Ze wanted to know the most. Just combining two elents was already a substantial leap in strength; he didn’t dare to imagine how much destructive power three or more elents would have.
"Congratulations." Lin ilin finally nodded in satisfaction. "For the first ti, you are asking the right questions."
"And to answer your question..."
With a brief pause, Lin ilin nodded in response.
"Yes."
"A Core Condensation expert can combine three or more elents for even greater strength, but the difficulty lies in balance."
"And this brings to the most important lesson."
"The process of rging."
Taking a sharp breath, she began to speak.
"Not to ntion that one needs to comprehend two elents, one also needs to make sure that the two elents are in balance."
"For that, one needs to have fine control over their elent energy, and for that, one needs to have a lot of experience and practise."
"Just because one manages to comprehend two elents doesn’t an one can rge them successfully."
"And then, they need to make sure that the two elents don’t oppose each other."
"Watch carefully." Speaking till here, Lin ilin raised her hands as a piece of land appeared in one, and a visible ball made out of air was in the other.
Without a word, she smashed them together, but there were no changes. The two simply disintegrated.
"Opposing elents can not be rged. They need to have another elent to stabilise them."
With this sentence, she waved her hand, summoning the piece of land and a ball of wind once again, but this ti there was an additional ball of fire.
Unlike before, the wind and earth didn’t disintegrate upon coming in contact with each other; they rged with the help of fire, as a small glowing orb appeared in front of Lin ilin, which she flicked in the opposite direction.
And the mont the glowing orb hit the ground....
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOM
The sound of an earth-shattering explosion filled Yang Ze’s ears.
Looking at the large crater on the ground that was the size of almost ten ters in radius with a small pool of lava in the middle that was slowly hardening, Yang Ze couldn’t help but swallow a mouthful of saliva.
"This... this..." For a mont, he even forgot to breathe. Just a casual flick of one’s finger was enough to cause such destruction... He didn’t dare to imagine the scene of soone throwing tens, if not hundreds, of such glowing orbs.
He himself wasn’t confident whether he could take this attack head-on.
"What about four elents? And what about the five elents?" Just combining three elents was already this destructive; he couldn’t help but lick his lips, which were stained with mud, thinking about the destructive power of four or five elents.
And just when he thought Lin ilin was going to show it to him, Lin ilin rely shook her head in response.
"You don’t have to worry about that."
"There isn’t a single person in the entire Azure Dragon Continent that could rge four or five elents."
"Not even ."
Her words caught Yang Ze by surprise. In his eyes, Lin ilin was an absolute powerhouse, and there was nothing she couldn’t do. For her to be unable to use four elents... this wasn’t sothing that he had expected.
"I... I see." Although Yang Ze nodded in response, he didn’t believe her words completely. Not because he thought she was lying, but because he didn’t believe it. Before, everyone used to say that the Heaven step was a myth...
But now...
Not only did Yun Ning step into the Heaven step, but the leaders of the other major sects have similarly broken through. And that is without ntioning the behemoth he t and the monster in the well.
These were beings that were out of his understanding.
He wouldn’t be surprised if there were powerful beings out there who could rge five elents.
"Now then..." Clapping her hands, Lin ilin spoke with a smile.
"This was everything that you needed to know about the Core Condensation realm."
"Initially, I wanted to teach you the complete process of stepping into the Core Condensation realm. After all, the process of comprehending the elents isn’t sothing that could be done just by thinking about it."
"One needs to have specific techniques and a complete process, which is a tightly guarded secret in the major sects."
"But now, I have decided against it." The more she spoke, the wider her smile got.
"Your basics are in a ss."
"You can’t even use the strength of Vein Expansion effectively. Even if you manage to step into the Core Condensation realm, your strength will be at the very bottom."
"Without practical combat and learning to use your strength, you are rely a sitting duck."
"And so..." Taking a step forward, Lin ilin directly stood in front of Yang Ze before poking his nose with a smile. "Welco to your next lesson."
"The combat."
Looking at Lin ilin’s smiling face, a shiver ran down Yang Ze’s spine as he shuddered in response. He had a feeling that his future days weren’t going to be peaceful.
Without wasting a mont, Lin ilin waved her hand as the ground around them began to churn before a small, crude platform ford beneath them.
Lin ilin then simply snapped her fingers, finally freeing Yang Ze.
After feeling that he could move, Yang Ze imdiately patted himself on his chest, changing into a new set of clothes. It was only then that he took a deep breath and waited for Lin ilin.
"Now, then, attack ."
Signalling to Yang Ze, Lin ilin added further.
"But don’t rush in blindly."
"Introduce to your skills. I want to know what you are capable of."
Yang Ze thought for a mont before nodding in response.
Just like Lin ilin said, although he had a lot of talents, he never used them effectively. Sotis he would use the wrong talents, and sotis he would even forget to use them. In a sense, his way of fighting was chaotic and all over the place.
As for exposing his talents... He gazed deeply at the enchanting woman in front of him before making up his mind. With her strength, it was very unlikely she would do anything harmful to him. She was already aware of his physique and had yet to take action against him.
Perhaps, he could try to trust her a bit.
Besides, his talent pool would only increase in the future. So, he doesn’t have to worry about exposing all his cards.
With this thought in mind, Yang Ze simply nodded to Lin ilin before bending his knees and speaking in a hoarse voice.
"The first skill is sevenfold illusion." The mont he spoke, seven clones appeared beside Yang Ze before rushing towards Lin ilin.
"Interesting." Looking at seven more Yang Ze’s, Lin ilin’s eyes flashed with excitent for a mont before she controlled her emotions. Right now, she was there to train Yang Ze.
Lin ilin watched leisurely as Yang Ze attacked her with simple punches. Just as she asked, he didn’t use any other skills, but instead chose to use raw strength and simple technique. He was going to demonstrate them one by one so she could guide him even better.
Lin ilin didn’t even bother to dodge or guard. She rely stood there, letting the clone’s fists make contact with her body.
*Thump
With the soft sound of flesh hitting flesh, Yang Ze’s clones ca to a complete halt.
"Huh!?"
"That’s it?" This ti, it was Lin ilin’s turn to be surprised.
"Why are they so weak?"
"Umm... Because they have only thirty percent of my strength!" Yang Ze replied with so hesitation.
"...."
"...."
After a brief silence, Lin ilin shook her head in response.
"Now I am beginning to understand you a bit better."
With a cold snort, she waved her hand, sending the clones flying back to Yang Ze.
"Why would you need these seven clones in a fight?"
"They are less than a third of your strength. Isn’t it just better to attack by yourself instead of relying on these weaklings?"
"...." Yang Ze didn’t know how to reply to her, so he just stood there in silence.
"Also... This isn’t how you used these clones."
"Instead of using them to attack like an idiot, use them for your daily life."
"Use them to snoop around, gather information and even feed wrong information to the enemies instead of rushing directly with your real body."
The more Lin ilin spoke, the more annoyed she got.
"You really are stupid, aren’t you?"
"You had this skill, and you didn’t leave a clone to keep an eye on the old priest in the village?"
"You left him alone, tied up by a bunch of vines and ran to get the techniques?"
"Did you think about keeping a clone beside him just in case?"
"Also... why didn’t you use the clones to go and fetch the techniques?"
"Wouldn’t it have made things easier for you?"
The more she spoke, the harsher her voice got.
"Or, you could have simply used one of the clones to take the fall when the old priest found out about you."
"You could have then infiltrated there without alerting the old priest. Easily gathering information."
"Ugh..." For a mont, Lin ilin almost wanted to give him a good beating. But thinking about how this brat was her first disciple and perhaps even her future companion, she swallowed back, raised her hand and spoke in a cold voice.
"Go on... show your next skill."
