While both Lin Yue and Xiao Ruolan were going through such humiliation, Yuyang City was enveloped in a storm. The news of both Young Ladies getting caught while trying to infiltrate the Duality sect has sohow spread throughout the city. From a beggar to a rchant... everyone in the city seems to be talking about it. But the two places where the most chaos ensured were the Lin family as well as the Xiao family.
These two seemingly behemoths were at a loss, unsure of what to do next. Especially, the Xiao family, which was still searching for their young lady while refuting the claims.
On the other side, the Lin family wasn’t doing any better. At the mont, almost every single elder was sitting in the Grand Hall, discussing about their next course of action.
"We should take action." One of the elders stood up before speaking in a firm tone. "Even if one of the major sects, it doesn’t an they can do whatever they want."
"That’s right." Another elder chid in. "We should either visit the Imperial city or we should seek help from the Heavenly Sword sect. After all, we pay tributes to them for protection."
"Tributes? Hah! It is for protection against any invasion." Another elder sneered in response. "Our spoiled Young Lady was the one who broke into the Duality Sect in the first place."
"Stop fighting amongst yourselves and co up with a goddman plan." Annoyed by their constant bickering, one of the oldest spoke in a harsh voice, and with that, the entire hall plunged into silence.
Though everyone was angry with what Lin Yue did, this matter was now bigger than their Young Lady. Even if Lin Wan, who was just a servant of their family, was kidnapped by the Duality sect, which they had no evidence against, it doesn’t an they could just infiltrate the sect.
Even if they were angry, they needed to swallow their anger. Getting caught was one thing, but it would be a nightmare if the Duality sect took action against them due to her offence. After all, she was the face of the Lin Family, and whether she liked it or not, her actions would ultimately implicate the family.
And just when everyone was trying to co up with their own plans, the woman sitting on the Matriarch’s seat stood up with a yawn.
Stretching her body with a yawn, Lin ilin arranged her floating white hair before looking at the bunch of won in front of her while shaking her head.
"I will take care of it." She didn’t beat around the bush. After saying these words, she calmly walked out of the grand hall. No one dared to question her, no one dared to stop her. All of them knew that the seemingly harmless and lazy woman was one of the few people with unfathomable strength. Even though she appeared to be in the 5th Vein Expansion realm, like all the other family leaders of the Yuyang City, her real strength was much greater than it.
And in a world where strength rules above everything, sches and plans don’t an anything.
Ignoring the elders who wanted to say a few words but lacked spine, Lin iling calmly exited the room and slowly walked towards her room. Throughout the ti, her face didn’t have any expression. It was as if it wasn’t her own daughter that got caught, but soone else’s.
"What are you going to do?" It wasn’t until she reached her room, comfortably lying in her favourite position while looking at the moon with a cup of wine in her hand, that a voice broke the silence of the room.
"...." Lin ilin didn’t give a direct answer but quietly sipped a mouthful of wine before exhaling a mouthful of turbid air.
"Do what?" With the shake of her head, she took another sip before speaking further. "Guess I need to make a visit to the Duality sect. It’s been a long ti since I went there."
"..." The other person in the room didn’t ask more questions, but one could feel the concern in their voice.
"The young lady has gone through a lot. We shouldn’t let her suffer anymore."
"Hmph!" With a cold snort, Lin ilin poured herself another cup. "She has been spoiled too much. A few days of humiliation would do her good."
"But what about her dignity?" The other party questioned. "Don’t you think that it would kill her self-esteem? The young lady and the future matriarch of the Lin Family, suffering like this... It is going to scar her for life."
"GOOD." Smacking her lips, she directly placed the wine gourd on her cherry lips. "It will do wonders for her in the long term."

After that, the room plunged into silence. Other than the sound of Lin ilin’s breathing and drinking wine, there was no other sound.

In one of the most luxurious rooms of the Duality Sect, Cang Yue looked at the two won who were now spitting on the ground with all their might with a bored expression.
"Forget it. I am getting tired of playing with you two." Shaking her head, she just walked out of the room, leaving behind the figures of Lin Yue and Xiao Ruolan, who hurriedly backed away only to cry out in pain due to those strings around their nipples before sitting closely, face to face.
"Ugh! I can’t believe I had my first kiss with soone as disgusting as you." It was Lin Yue who spoke while still trying her best to spit out the little saliva inside her mouth.
"Says the one who kept on putting her disgusting tongue in her mouth." Xiao Ruolan snorted in response.
"That was because you weren’t passing the candy." Lin Yue almost wanted to bite her to death. "What else was I supposed to do?"
"I don’t know... How about asking instead?" The more Xiao Ruolan looked at the woman in front of her, the more annoyed she got. Since childhood, she had hated this bitch, and for her to lose her first kiss to soone as loathso as her... she wanted to smash her own head on the wall to forget about that mory.
"Hmph!"
"Snort."
Both of them averted their eyes. It wasn’t until a long ti had passed that Lin Yue broke the silence.
"How long do you think it will go on?" Without the sun and moon, it was hard to tell the passage of ti in this dimly lit room. They didn’t know how long the two of them had been in this state.
"....." Xiao Ruolan didn’t give an imdiate reply but thought for a long ti before shaking her head. "I don’t know."
"Do you think soone will co to rescue us?" Lin Yue still had a glimr of hope. A fleeting thought that perhaps soone would co to their rescue. Perhaps it would be Lin Wan who would take them out of this hellhole.
"Unlikely." Xiao Ruolan just gave an emotionless answer. She knew the difference between the Duality sect and their families. Just this so-called saintess was much more powerful than her own mother and the Xiao family’s ancestor. She didn’t dare to imagine how powerful the elders and the leader of the Duality Sect were.
"....." Hearing such a blunt answer, Lin Yue just let out a heavy sigh before closing her eyes.

"When are you going to release them?" On the other side of the Duality sect, Lin Wan was looking at the current saintess of the Duality sect, while asking in a hoarse voice. Every single mont that her two childhood friends and sisters spent like that was a blow to her heart. The two of them ca to rescue her, so naturally, she felt like it was her fault. She wanted Cang Yue to stop torturing the two of them, but from what she understood about this woman, it was an unlikely cause.
"Yeah, I am bored with them." But to her surprise, Cang Yue gave an unexpected answer.
"You can free them from those chains and threads, but let them remain in that room till soone from their families visits."
"I... Then... You..." Lin Wan was taken aback after listening to her. Stamring for a mont, she ultimately swallowed what she was about to say before uttering a single word. "Thank you."
"Oh, don’t be." Cang Yue narrowed her eyes as a smile ran across her cheeks. "I just think that your little lover is more interesting than those two."
"....." Lin Wan, who was still thanking her, suddenly stopped in her tracks as her eyes went wide with disbelief.
"Hey, no need to get excited. I am just testing him. I want to see if he is truly in love with you."
"What..." Lin Wan swallowed a mouthful of saliva. "What are you going to do?"
"Nothing much." With a shrug, Cang Yue just smiled at her. "Just wanted to see if he would stay loyal to you if I made advances on him."
"YOU..." How could Lin Wan stay calm after hearing it? That boy was her greatest opportunity and her hope to reach the top of this world. If this woman sohow manages to uncover his physique, then she could kiss goodbye to her hopes and dreams.
She wanted to imdiately refuse, but, looking at Cang Yue’s playful eyes, she held back. She could only hope that that little bastard won’t fall for her seduction till Lin Yue and Xiao Ruolan get out of this place. Once she frees them, she would have plenty of ways to take him under her.
"Interesting." Cang Yue wasn’t expecting Lin Wan to agree with her request. ’Was I overthinking?’
She couldn’t help but wonder if that man was rely a toy for Lin Wan instead of a true lover.
Watching at Lin Wan’s departing back, she thought for a while before deciding to give it a go. Since she didn’t have anything else to do, she might as well play this role as well. Perhaps it might be a new experience to her too.
With these thoughts, she left her room, heading to the place that man was staying in.
