Closing his eyes, Yang Ze arrived in his Sea of Consciousness. Because it was his first ti trying to visualise sothing, he was rather nervous.
He slowly lifted both his hands and placed them in front of him. And in that mont, he could feel the invisible ntal energy converging between his hands at a fixed point.
With his eyes closed, Yang Ze slowly began to move his hands. At the mont, he was akin to a potter, slowly shaping his ntal energy into an object.
Feeling the ease with which he was converging the ntal energy as well as using it to make a shape, he couldn’t help but let out a satisfied smile.
When he read about this process in the book, he was rather nervous. After all, it was written that to visualise even one object, one might need years. Yet, here he was, doing it with ease.
But before he could even pat himself on the back for accomplishing it with such ease, an intense headache overwheld him, and he was kicked out of his sea of consciousness.
"DAMN IT." Opening his eyes in the real world, Yang Ze clutched his head. If one were to look at him carefully, they might be able to see throbbing veins on his temple visible to the naked eye.
Yang Ze just gritted his teeth while enduring the tearing pain in his mind.
It wasn’t until an hour had passed that he finally recovered before exhaling a mouthful of air.
"ntal Exhaustion!" It was hard for him to even open his eyes. Unlike the Internal Energy, which doesn’t affect cultivators even if they run out of it, ntal energy was fundantally different. Once soone runs out of it, they would be overwheld with exhaustion.

Opening his eyes, Yang Ze imdiately noticed the difference.
The previously dimly lit surroundings were now extrely clear. Even though there were a few things that he couldn’t see clearly, it was much better than before. If he had to describe it, it was more like an evening ti after sunset. Not too bright, but not too dark either.
After observing his surroundings, Yang Ze imdiately looked towards the owl. He wanted to capture it and get its second talent too.
Unfortunately for him, it was long gone.
"Tch." Clicking his tongue in annoyance, Yang Ze shook his head. Next ti, if he ca across an animal that had more talents, he was definitely going to capture it.
He had already decided that instead of wasting his precious ti on searching for suitable talents, he would rather use his sign-in on the beasts.

But now... Now he only needed to think about it, and the ntal energy would follow his command.
In no ti, he had already constructed the outline of the object that he wanted to visualise as his first mortal object.
Next was adding details to the object.
Yang Ze didn’t hasten the process. Even if he couldn’t complete it in one go, he would try again the next day and then the next day. He wouldn’t rush it. At least not this thing.
Yang Ze could have sworn that this was the first ti that he had ever got serious about sothing after coming to this world. Were it any other ti, he would have just collapsed in less than five seconds after trying to visualise it. But under the influence of the Enlightennt, he didn’t seem to run out of ntal energy.
After what felt like eternity, Yang Ze was finally able to complete his first object, and the mont he added the last detail, the entire space trembled for a mont before returning to normal.
At the sa ti, Yang Ze felt his previously spent ntal energy recovering at a rapid pace, and in less than ten seconds, his ntal energy was back to normal. Compared to the first ti he ca here, it has even increased by a small amount.
Yang Ze wanted to observe the changes, but before he could, his Enlightennt state ended, and he found himself sitting in the backyard once again.
"Success!?" There was so doubt as well as disbelief on his face. Even though he was hoping for it, completing one mortal object in the span of fifteen minutes still took him by surprise. If he kept the sa pace, he only needed one hundred days to light up the first ring and step into the Rank of Mortal.
Controlling his excitent, he looked around and, after making sure that he was alone, raised his hand as a small ball of hazy white light that was completely different from Internal Energy appeared above his palm.
In the next second, the ball of white light twisted before shattering, and what appeared in its place was a small, old teacup that was full of cracks.
Holding the cup, Yang Ze’s hands trembled as he held the cup carefully.
He didn’t even dare to breathe, afraid that he would break it.
Even though it was made out of ntal energy, it looked no different from a real object. The sa touch... the sa weight, and even the sa sll.
Yang Ze didn’t know how it all worked, and at the mont, he couldn’t care less. He just gently held the cup in his hands with hazy eyes and trembling lips. Afraid... afraid that it would disappear the next mont.
And so... Yang Ze, who was dying to explore the market to look for beasts, just sat in silence, quietly looking at the cracked cup that seed to have been forcefully glued together.
