On the other hand, Yang Ze and Xiao Ruolan were both still standing at the very edge of the mountain. The two of them just stood in silence, waiting for the other person to speak first, but neither of them did. In the end, it was Xiao Ruolan who broke the silence.
"Don’t you have anything to say?" She had just told him that it was Lin Yue twisting the events and placing the bla on her. But contrary to her expectations, the man beside her didn’t show any change in expression. It was as if he had already expected it.
"What do you want to say?" Yang Ze’s voice was calm before finally focusing back on Xiao Ruolan.
Looking at her otherworldly appearance and her dark red eyes, which appear even more dreamlike under the sunset, he cald the surging waves in his heart as he let out a sigh.
"Anything." Xiao Ruolan just turned around in displeasure. "Or do you still feel that Lin Yue was telling the truth?"
"Honestly!?" Yang Ze took a deep breath as he shook his head. "I don’t trust either of you."
His words startled Xiao Ruolan, who, for a mont, couldn’t even react. She was expecting him to say sothing about Lin Yue, but she didn’t expect him to even include her. She was about to protest in response, but before she could, she heard him speak further.
"The three of us haven’t been exactly on a pleasant note."
"You obviously didn’t put in your eyes from our very first eting. And now..." He didn’t finish the sentence, but the aning behind it was clear.
