The next morning, Jian Yu arrived there as promised. She didn’t imdiately speak but waited patiently until the three won were all present in the room.
Cang Yue could only frown at her action, but in the end didn’t say anything. At the mont, she needed her help, so it was best not to annoy her. She would have plenty of ti and opportunity in the future for this.
"Now then..." After the three won, Lin Yue, Xiao Ruolan and Cang Yue, all arrived, Jian Yu clapped with a smile.

"While I do admire your tenacity and courage for wanting to join the Heavenly Sword Sect, I can not make an exception."
Lin Yue’s face fell the mont she heard Jian Yu.
Yesterday, after knowing the identity of the old woman, she imdiately thought about asking her for help.
Now that they were no longer a mber of the major families, they were eligible to join the Sect. But because they were already cultivators and joined after the age of 20, joining the sect beca harder than ascending the heavens.
She wanted to talk to the old woman; she wanted to know if there was a way for both her and Xiao Ruolan to join the Heavenly Sword Sect.

Listening to Jian Yu’s response, Lin Yue felt the world around her was plunging into darkness.
Without joining the Heavenly Sword Sect, they would be in constant danger from the Duality Sect.

Xiao Ruolan, on the other hand, wasn’t surprised. She had expected this answer.
Jian Yu, upon seeing their expressions, couldn’t help but let out a laugh.

"I said, I can not make an exception. Not that you can not join the sect."
Her words confused Lin Yue and Xiao Ruolan at first, but when they understood the aning behind those words, they couldn’t help but gleam with joy. Since there was a chance, they were definitely going to fight for it.
"What do we need to do?" This ti, it was Xiao Ruolan who spoke in an emotionless voice, but from the slight trembling of her voice, one could feel the hidden excitent.
"Nothing much..." Jian Yu let out a playful smile as she first looked at Jian Yu, then at Xiao Ruolan and finally at Cang Yue before speaking further.
"You just need to complete five levels of the trials."
"If you manage to do that, you will be qualified to join the sect.
"EH!?" Now it was Cang Yue’s turn to be surprised. She gazed deeply at the old hag. She didn’t know what she was planning, but she didn’t have any choice. Even if she didn’t want to see these two sluts, she had no other option.
"Then you should make so preparations. We will leave tomorrow morning."
The mont Jian Yu finished speaking, Cang Yue imdiately shook her head.
"No need for your hospitality. I know the way."
"Besides, I am already running out of ti."
With Yang Ze’s constantly deteriorating condition, she didn’t have the luxury to spend one more day here. She just wanted to rush into the ruins and find the so-called Soul Gem. Yang Ze might look normal from the outside, but only she knew how pale his face was under that skin mask. She just couldn’t take any chances.
"Do as you wish." Jian Yu didn’t care. She had given them answers, and the rest was up to them.
"Before you go." She suddenly called out to Cang Yue, who was about to rush out, causing the other party to almost fall to the ground.
"You should take him with you, too." Jian Yu pointed towards the unconscious Yang Ze before adding further. "The soul gem is rather large and can not be moved."
"You can only perform the ceremony there."
Cang Yue didn’t know whether she was telling the truth or not. But she didn’t have any choice.
Gritting her teeth, she picked up Yang Ze before placing him behind her back and tying his body to hers with a thick, long cloth.
Under the shocked gaze of Lin Yue and Xiao Ruolan, she directly stepped out of the house before disappearing into the distance.
"I will co and pick you up tomorrow." Jian Yu’s voice brought the two of them back to their senses.
They didn’t know why the two sisters were so crazy about that man. Perhaps in the future they would unravel that mystery, but till then, they had more important matters to attend to.

After rushing out of the house, Cang Yue ran while carrying the unconscious Yang Ze.
Because of his frail body, she didn’t feel like she was carrying another person. This made her constantly run at her full speed.
Throughout the journey, she ca across a number of Heavenly Sword Sect mbers, but they couldn’t even see her. The only thing they saw was a blur before getting hit by a gust of wind in the face.
After running at her full speed for almost an hour, Cang Yue finally reached her destination.
In front of her was a large mountain range spanning as far as the eye could see.
This was just one section of the Endless Mountains, and the ruins under the Heavenly Sword Sect’s jurisdiction were situated here.
A few days ago, she only ca here to know its location. She didn’t enter it but just looked at it from a distance before heading back to the sect.
But now...
Taking a deep breath, Cang Yue slowly entered the area.
Just like the Duality Sect, this place didn’t have any guards or mbers either. It was just a place with nurous torn-up tents. There was just a single tent standing there, which was also in poor condition.
Adjusting Yang Ze on her back, she directly stepped inside before taking out her Grand Elder token and inserting it into the empty socket on the ground underneath her.
In that instant, the ground beneath her trembled as a long, dark and narrow path appeared before her.
Cang Yue just raised a finger, covering it with white internal energy and in that instant, the entire path was illuminated
Without any hesitation, she stepped in, and the next mont, the path behind her closed.
Cang Yue just kept on walking till she finally reached an opening.
The mont she walked out of it, she couldn’t help but narrow her eyes in response.
"Hisss..." The sight in front of her was sothing that subverted her expectations.
The ruins under the jurisdiction of the Duality Sect were rather simple. With long, narrow corridors leading to a white screen of light.
But here... Here it was completely different.
In front of her was an unimaginably large space. The entire space was almost five hundred ters in height and had a diater of almost four hundred ters.
If Cang Yue didn’t know any better, she would have thought that she was still outside.
But it wasn’t the height or width of the cave that attracted her attention.
Instead, it was the massive sword that made her speechless.
The sword’s bottom half was plunged into the ground, leaving behind a bit of sword body and the hilt that was almost touching the top of the cave.
The hilt was completely made out of gold and other precious materials, with a large red ruby placed in between.
Standing in front of such a massive sword left Cang Yue powerless.
She didn’t dare to imagine what kind of existence could have created this sword and what kind of strength one needed to even wield it.
She looked around for a mont before finally finding the entrance.
One small section of the sword had cracked, revealing a thin layer of entrance that was enveloped with the familiar layer of white light.
Without any hesitation, Cang Yue walked towards it. She didn’t know what kind of trial she was going to face. Usually, every ruin has its own special trial. The the of the Duality Sect’s ruin was Survival. One needed to survive in various conditions.
She didn’t know what the the of the Sword Sect was, but it was too late to turn back.
Gritting her teeth, she took a deep breath before stepping forward and disappearing into the light.
And as soon as Cang Yue’s figure disappeared, two figures silently appeared inside the cave, standing just a few ters away from the trial entrance.
If Cang Yue were here, she would have definitely recognised the two of them.
One was the old hag... the sect leader of the Heavenly Sword Sect, whereas the other person was a white masked woman... the one who stopped her murderous rampage and threw her into prison.
The two won stood there quietly for a long ti before the masked woman asked in a bewildered voice.
"Why would you bring her to this place?"
"You do know that the trials inside couldn’t be completed by anyone, right?"
"If you wanted her to die, you should have simply killed her."
Jian Yu didn’t answer back but quietly gazed at the massive sword in front of her before letting out a aningful smile.
"It’s a bet."
"Huh!?" The white masked woman couldn’t understand what she was talking about.
"A bet for the future of this world." Jian Yu just let out a gentle laugh as her figure disappeared from the cave, leaving behind the figure of the masked woman who stood there in silence for a long ti before shaking her head with a sigh.
"Futile struggle. Like a toad’s wish to swallow the moon."
And with this sentence, her figure disappeared too, letting the cave once again be engulfed in silence.

On the other side, Cang Yue finally opened her eyes only to be taken aback by the sight in front of her.
She first pinched herself, wondering if she was seeing things, before rubbing her eyes in disbelief. It wasn’t until her eyes turned red from the constant rubbing that she realised that it wasn’t a dream.
The corner of her lips twitched as she took a deep breath before shouting at the top of her lungs.
"OLD HAG, YOU BITCH. YOU ARE FUCKING DEAD."
