It is better to avoid being in a place like this which is dangerous for them as he also thinks that it is way too early for her to be crying
From what he could tell, this place didn't have any signs that anyone could tell whether her parent had killed or injured
Kaneki thinks that Rei belongs to a single-parent household from her tone and he could totally understand her behaviour right now since she hasn't lost her only family in this world
He clearly understands that feeling but unfortunately, he doesn't know what to say to her which could lift up her Spirits
But there is sothing that confused him here and that is if her parent have already gone to a safe place then who killed these zombies
From the looks of it, he could easily tell that these are fresh kills ans her parent did this which is unlikely unless her parent were professional killers or soone else did it before they got here
'Those wounds...' he inwardly said this as he focused on the corpse's wounds and noticed how weird those wounds are
No one noticed because no one in the team wanna look at the bloodied rotting corpses but Kaneki soone who was already used to this
As he couldn't help but think that these wounds were inflicted by soone extrely skilled, he could also sense sothing else entirely that he could explain in words
Kaneki stopped thinking about this as it would only waste his and everyone else's ti, and they didn't have much ti to waste here
"Yeah.... we should go now," Rei said as she finally pulled back from her depressed thoughts and cleaned her face with her hands
With that whole team began to move outside, and went back into the car They sat where they had sat before
"Oh ~" Shizuka spoke as she looked and noticed that the Fuel was pretty low, she doubted that she could make a trip to Saya's ho at this fuel
It was low from the mont she took the car this morning as she intended to refuel it but unfortunately, due to today's unfortunate events, she never had a chance to refuel the tank
"What happened ?" Saeko asked as she looked at Shizuka and felt that Shizuka had so bad news to tell
"The fuel tank is almost empty~" Shizuka replied as she couldn't help but feel a little unfortunate and bla herself for not refuelling yesterday but again she didn't know what was gonna happen today, so her self-blaming was aningless
"What?!?" saya said out loud as she couldn't help but be extrely stunned by this news since if that's true then they have to travel on walking which is very dangerous
"Can we go to any nearby gas station?" Saeko asked if there was any gas station nearby. They should go there first but only if the car has enough fuel to get there
"I dont think so~," Shizuka said as she didn't think that this car had enough fuel to reach any gas station
"Is there no way?" Saya asked this in a worried tone since she really dont wanna walk on the streets where mindless human-eating Monsters are roaming around
Shizuka sadly shook her head since she did not think there was any other way and soon they needed to go on foot
Honestly, none of them wanna walk at this mont not only because they are scared of zombies but also due to the fact that all of them are extrely tired because they are fighting the zombies and running without eating anything
Now they are not only tired but also hungry at this point, so the last thing to do is walk into a place where anyone could be attacked by human-eating Monsters
But it seems they don't really have a choice right now, at least they just hoped they could reach sowhere they could rest
"It's better to go to a safe place before sunset," Saeko said as she suggested this since that's the most sensible choice she thinks right now their main priority should be to find a safe place to rest for the night because no one wants to spend their night in a car
"Are you with That saya-chan?~?" Shizuka asked this since she clearly rembered Saya also wanna go to her family but considering their current situation, it seems not possible anymore
"Yeah, I am sure my family will be fine and not to ntion I dont wanna spend the night on the streets" Saya replied in a confident tone since she knew her family would be fine even in this Situation Still a child she also worried
But right now wanna find a safe place to rest, especially at night She dont wanna roam around on the streets, especially since she needs food
Rei was too silent in this conversation since she was still recovering from what she had seen back in her ho still she was still listening to their conversation as she had no problem with that
"But where should we go?" Saya asked this question since they did not know where they go at a ti like this
"My friend's house is near~ we can spend the night there~" Shizuka replied as she knew there wouldn't be a safer place than her best friend's place in this situation
Since no one had other better options regarding this, all of them agreed to Shizuka's place as they just hoped the car would take us to that place before the fuel ran out
Kaneki knows about Shizuka's best friend but he has never t her face to face because she is always outside for work, he has no idea what work she does but from Shizuka's tone when she talks about her best friend is like Shizuka fully trusts her
