’so tasty!!!!’ Saeko, Rei and Saya said this in their minds, maybe it’s because Kaneki’s cooling is really delicious, or it was because they are so hungry since they haven’t eaten anything, or it was because of both reasons

Food is no less than a pleasure, and not being able to experience taste is nothing but a punishnt in their eyes, but they didnt know one thing that Kaneki was once a human, so he also knows the delicacies

They experienced Sothing that flipped their lives upside down, and still, instead of crying in sadness, they strived forward, which is really impressive
Moreover, he was even surprised by them or more especially by Saeko, when he killed soone without hesitation
That ti he rembered how fast her heart was beating, so he thought even though Saeko was face might be normal, but heart was in chaos, which is understandable considering that it was the first ti killing a human
Unknowingly to him, at that ti, Saeko wasn’t nervous because she had killed a human for the first ti; rather, she was excited, which is the reason why her heart was beating so fast. Still, Saeko won’t admit that, since she fears that it will change their perception of her
Saeko, who was washing dishes right, couldn’t help but tremble as she noticed how Kaneki was staring towards him with his one eye since he kept his other eye closed this whole ti
As a swordswoman who has been training from her childhood can sowhat understand other people’s intentions from their eyes since eyes can’t lie
And from his gaze, she can tell it’s not in an Aggressive, killing, lustful, or any other kind of intentions, rather she feels it’s rather warm
She didnt feel it was that weird right now because she knows he isn’t so kind of cold-hearted monster who kills for no reason, for just his own pleasure
From what she has experienced till now, that is Kaneki’s only Fight to protect and not to ntion, he might look cold on the outside, but she can see warmth in it
Not only did he quietly listen to them, as well as only helped, like how he prepared als for all of them and how he taught them how to use guns
He even suggested that her To use guns even though she rejected that idea because she is a swordswoman, still, she knows from that mont that he was worried for her, which warms her heart
"Why are you dizzying around?" Rei asked this question as soon as she saw Saeko stop washing as she was just staring blankly
"It’s nothing", Saeko said after hearing Rei’s voice, which brought Saeko back to reality as Saeko continued to do what she was doing
anwhile, Kaneki went to the ho telephone as he wanted to check if it was working. If it is working, then they can call for help or call their parents
"beep...beep.....beep....beep...." Unfortunately Telephone isn’t working, aning they need to wait till they find their parents alive or dead, as it is the sa for help coming from outside this city
