Saya knows what she said might be harsh for Rei but it is the truth, going blindly is dangerous as well as stupid
They are now in the place where those things road and with every second, those things’ number increases aning the longer they wait the more dangerous it gets
Saya can understand what Rei feels but still, they can’t put their lives at risk for a single person whom they do not even know is alive or not
Saya understands that even though they have Kaneki that doesn’t make them invincible since he might be strong enough for himself
That doesn’t an he is capable enough to ensure the safety of all people in the team at the sa where danger cos from every direction at any ti
After all, he is an alone person aning he can’t take care of all of them and she also knows if Kaneki has to choose then no matter what he will prioritise Shizuka’s life over them
Knowing that Saya is taking no chances at all even though they have weapons now, it is dangerous since they are just humans
They are against zombies who can kill them in one bite as they have massive numbers compared to them as well thoas se things can’t get tired and dont feel anything at all
"Bu-but" Rei wanted to say sothing as she even opened her mouth but unfortunately she quickly stopped mid way realising what she thinks is stupid too while her face turned dark
"Saya is right but dont lose hope, maybe your family is already in a safe place," Saeko said as she tried to encourage Rei not to lose hope too soon
Even though Saeko knows this is just an encouragent still wants all mbers of the team to have hope otherwise it will be hard to survive if they do not even have the will to live
"Hm" Rei muttered as she understood the situation, even though Rei appreciated Saeko’s statent she still didn’t want false hope
The only family Rei has is her dad and she doesn’t have a good relationship with her dad because he is always too busy to take care of her
No matter what ti she has always been taking care of herself alone, still that doesn’t change the fact that her father is the only family she has in this world and she doesn’t want anything to happen to him and hopes that he will be safe
"We need a vehicle," Saeko said next as she thinks getting transport should be their main priority since unlike Kaneki, they dont possess nearly unlimited stamina nor speed faster than the car itself
This is why they needed the car if they needed to travel long distances fast and without getting tired and if Saeko had to guess
Then she would say the person’s lowest stamina other than Alice they all thought this of Alice just a kid, and if they were gone on foot then she would be the one who would drag them
But since she is an important person in the group too due to the fact that she is the only dic in the team as well as the most important person to Kaneki
If anything happened to her then who knows what Kaneki would do which is the reason she can now be considered the core mber of this group
"Shizuka-sensei, does your friend have a car that we can use?" Saeko asked this question as she looked at Shizuka
Since sohow her friend is too resourceful, even though Saeko has no idea about the so-called Shizuka’s Friend but one thing she clearly understands is that Shizuka’s friend is soone not an ordinary citizen
Since her friend has guns and it is not so pistol rather her friend has a whole armoury of firearms which is already harder than having a car, that’s the reason Saeko thinks there should be a car too
"She has a car but unfortunately seems taken it with her to her work~" Shizuka replied as she rembered this which is a pity she thinks
"You can get that at my ho" Saya suddenly said attracting all the attention since said since she knows her family better than anyone in the world
She knows her family isn’t an ordinary family and they can get things that no one can find in other families, not only that but her family is also very rich too
"You are sure?" Saeko asked this question as she needed to make sure what Saya was saying was really true or she just wanna to check on her family
Saya nodded her head as she confird her statent since she knew her family would be safe, so they just needed to go there sohow
Which gonna be a long journey considering the fact that they will need to go on foot and considering how many zombies they will encounter only gonna make this journey longer
She just hoped that they would reach her ho before nightfall otherwise it was gonna be tough since unlike Kaneki they needed to rest
And at night without shelter and food gonna be a nightmare for them especially if there is a kid with them
"But how long will it take to reach there?" Kaneki finally opened his mouth for the first ti in a conversation as he asked this
He sohow can tell whether people are lying or not and from what Saya said, he can ensure that there are no lies in her words But sohow her strange confidence makes him wonder what kind of family she has
Unfortunately, he has no ti to ask questions about her family as the main priority is to know how much ti it will take to reach her ho
"Can I borrow your phone, Shizuka-sensei?" Saya said this as she asked Shizuka since rather than verbally telling them this, it would be easier to show them
