A few hours later...
"You can rest now" Kaneki says as he looks towards Saeko, Saya and Rei since they are now looking tired especially Saeko due to the fact
that only she is the only person who fought in close combat
The least person who did was Rei since most shots were missed so much that Saya shouted at her to not shoot anymore since Rei was mostly wasting the ammo
And since they dont have an unlimited supply of ammo anwhile Saya used sniper bullets very efficiently, not missing even a single shot
Because zombies are really easy targets more for her because zombies dont move like humans
Unlike humans who move by the brain which is not easy to predict, zombies are easy targets since they move by instinct rather than brain
Humans might dodge her bullets after knowing she is shooting at them but it isn’t the sa with zombies since even if she shoots in front of their eyes they still won’t dodge
Because they are already humans who are already dead as they have now just moved by instinct to move in order to infect other humans
Not to ntion their movents beco very slow especially when they are attacking Saeko as it becos easy for her to shoot
Rei didnt actually give up even after Saya’s lecture as Rei instead switched weapons as she changing her weapon from an assault rifle to a pistol
After handling an assault rifle, handling a pistol helped her a lot to control the recoil of the pistol as she also managed to kill zombies efficiently
Right now Kaneki has seen enough, not to ntion he knew unlike him they dont have infinite stamina, as if they keep going then they are gonna collapse by exhaustion
Kaneki couldn’t help but look at Saeko as at this mont, Saeko looked nothing less than a bloody killer mainly due to the fact that her face as well as her clothes were soaked in blood and it’s the sa with her blade
And there are other things which give her a look of a cold bloody killer like how her expression is right now even though she killed so many zombies
Still, she has no expression on her face if she thinks of them as killing bugs since she doesn’t show any human emotion like guilt but it’s not wrong to have that kind of ntality in Kaneki’s mind
Since having so emotion like guilt will only affect the Survival chances for them as Kaneki knows this is cruel but people like Saeko are most likely to survive at tis like these alone
’Still, it’s kinda unsettling’ Kaneki inwardly said this as he thinks there is more to it than it appears on Saeko’s face even though he has no idea what that is but his instincts are telling him there is more to it which he can’t see with his own eyes
After he told them to rest they all ca back even though more zombies were coming, Kaneki decided to take action himself
As he rushed forward and killed the remaining zombies with his bare hands like it was nothing, after making sure there were no other zombies, he was finally able to relax his guard
When he ca back, He saw Shizuka checking out Saeko mainly because Shizuka just wanna know if Saeko was injured or not
Unlike those 2, Saeko was the only one who fought in really close combat against zombies, so she is just worried about her getting injured
*sigh*
"I dirty my clothes..." Saeko couldn’t help but mutter this as she looked at her clothes which got dirty by the blood and not to ntion this was a new pair of clothes which she just wore in the morning and now they’re all dirty
*Chuckle*
Everyone who heard couldn’t help but laugh a little after hearing her words as Saeko had just killed so many zombies just a few monts ago and now she is just worried about her clothes
Saeko was confused by their reactions but she didnt ask why they all laughed and after Shizuka thoroughly checked Saeko’s body and made sure she was not injured, Shizuka finally released her with a relieved expression
’It felt good to cut them’ Seako inwardly said this as she clearly rembered the sensation in her hand when she cut them and she would be lying if she thought it was not good
Only because of that she managed to continue this for hours even though she knew she might die from one minor mistake still she kept going mainly because she was having too much fun
She knew she wasn’t normal and she accepted but she can’t let others know about this as she fears the worst possible outco and only for that reason she all the ti have no expression on her face even though she wanna smile like a madwoman
"You were so cool, big sister!!" Alice cos forward from behind as she said this with sparkling eyes since she couldn’t help but think of Saeko with her blade was very cool cutting the zombies
Saeko was a little overwheld by Alice’s praise as she didnt expect Alice to admire her, to be honest, Saeko couldn’t help but feel a little guilty as Saeko wanted to say that she was admiring am wrong person
"Well no kidding but you are really sothing else with a sword" Rei said this as she looked towards Saeko since she also saw how well Saeko fights with her sword
Even though Rei already saw Saeko’s sword skills yesterday she still realised today just how good Saeko actually is with the sword, she might not have realised that yesterday
Maybe because she was already very desperate to surprise and not to ntion all things happened yesterday was too fast for her brain to process aning her brain had no ti to process anything else
Rei was already very nervous when shooting a gun at a long distance and not to ntion the zombies she was facing, she couldn’t imagine how much pressure Saeko would he under such a close distance when all the zombies
Still, Saeko handle them skillfully without making even a single mistake which itself is very amazing, rei is sure that she can’t manage that no matter how many tis she trained
