"By the way do you have any idea about the person who attacked Kaneki today?" Rei asked this question as she was unable to hold back her curiosity at all
And previously she wasn’t able to ask such questions due to the fact that they were already very worried about other stuff like Kaneki’s safety then later on finding shelter for the night
But now seems things have kind of seems settled she finally asked this question even though she knew they were probably clueless like her
But Rei believe that they both are probably smarter than her which is the reason she asked this question to them
And even though she could have asked this question directly to Kaneki who clearly knows who the person was who attacked them since he was the one who fought her but inwardly she knew that even if she asked this question to him then she wouldn’t get the answer
To her, this place is getting weirder and weirder by each passing hour, in just 2 days she witnessed things she thought the day before yesterday were nothing but re fantasy
First zombie, second betrayal, third kaneki, fourth she using guns, and now people with supernatural powers who are attacking them, these are all things that actually happened to them nothing but kind of things happened in dreams or a movie plot
"I can’t tell anything about soone when I can’t see anyone" Saya replied to Rei’s question as she continued to rub Alice’s head gently
Since she basically can’t say anything when the enemy is not visible, if she can’t see then having any opinions is aningless
And she is worried about this since she knows even though they are ard with guns and ammo, but it’s really aningless if their Opponent is invisible
They can’t just open fire in every direction due to the fact that they dont have unlimited ammo, they just have limited ammo which they brought from Shizuka’s friend’s house
"One thing is certain that we needed to get out of here as soon as possible" Saya said this next as she expressed her real thoughts since she knew staying here would only be dangerous and more dangerous with each passing mont
They already witness new danger today and who knows what will co next, she knows staying here won’t be anything but suicide, thats the reason they should escape from this place which used to be their ho but now it has beco hell
The more they stay the more their lives will be in danger, and of course, there will be many troubles even if they manage to escape this place but no trouble is more dangerous than a threat to their lives
"Yeah, I agreed, but still I needed to find my dad..." Rei said this after hearing what just saya has said since even though she totally agreed with what saya has said and Rei also want nothing but to escape this place and live in peace
But there is also her dad who is alive and is out there even though she dont really know where but she dont know if it’s the right thing to leave this place when she knows her dad is here and has no idea how he is
Even though she can’t be certain whether her dad is still here or he has already escaped to a safe place but she wanna believe that he is here searching for her
"...." Saya didnt say anything at all on this even though she really wanna speak since she felt it wouldn’t be pleasant to give a reality check to Rei in front of Alice
She wanna tell Rei to stop thinking about her dad for now since they should prioritise escaping this place as from today she has to know that the only enemies are not zombies to them as there are also other threats now
Till now they would have already died more than once, if they weren’t lucky enough to have Kaneki by their side and that also goes all credit to Shizuka
Since she clearly rembered unlike now, Kaneki really dont care about them when he first t them as he was even about to leave them as his only concern was Shizuka
As soon as He clearly explained the way he was able to leave with Shizuka, and it was Shizuka who convinced Kaneki to take them with him
Kaneki till now has been providing the role of a guardian and that is also the reason why they are still safe till now
Even though Saya could understand that Rei is worried about her parent as all people would but to search for her parent she needed to stay alive
As she can’t search for a person if she is dead which is why Saya wanted them to survive first before finding others
Saya wanna say all these things to Rei like a lecture but she can’t do this in front of Alice as she feels it would make Saya look bad in Alice’s eyes which is the reason she knows she needs to stay quiet
"About the person we got attacked by...." Saeko speak this next as she is about to express her thoughts and unlike Saya, at least Saeko felt sothing like a presence which is why she can express her thoughts about how she felt
Hearing her speak like this, both Rei and Saya look at Saeko with serious expressions since they know Saeko must have so kind of information because she has trained her senses since childhood
"One thing is certain that even if we could see the enemy then also we would have gotten killed we engage in a battle" Saeko spoke these as she expressed her true thoughts since she felt fear of death and she felt the presence she knew she couldn’t win at all against this enemy which is the reason they would have died if it wasn’t for Kaneki
