Bonus chapter [1] - 160 Power Stones

--x--

Rigel also seed speechless for a mont.

He knew he was after the supernatural, but from the description of this guy, drinking blood, nocturnal habits, burning in sunlight, it didn't matter.

If it's not a vampire, Rigel doesn't know what it is.

He took a deep breath and for a mont was apprehensive, turning to the Adventure Book, he spoke. "Hey, I don't rember this world having vampires."

The book that was writing the story turned the page and responded.

[This is probably an Easter egg, you can find them in adventure worlds, but they're rare. You're really lucky, writer.]

Rigel didn't feel lucky, he asked imdiately afterwards. "If I get bitten by a vampire and beco one, will I still be a vampire when I return?"

[It depends. Technically, if you beco a vampire, complete the main quest, and return, the vampirism returns with you. However, if you don't want to be a vampire, you can find a solution on your own or kill yourself directly, in that case, you won't take anything with you from this world, including vampirism.]

The Adventure Book's response did not reassure Rigel, instead, it made him even more apprehensive. He didn't want to be a vampire, afraid of garlic and burning in sunlight.

[Don't worry, host, your potion of cures diseases, as long as it's taken before the complete transformation, can cure vampirism. Furthermore, since vampires in this world are considered undead, becoming a vampire is considered a "fatal blow", so your Aztec rune would also protect you from that.]

[Also, the Easter Egg rewards are very good, good luck, Writer.]

Rigel took a deep breath, feeling better for a mont. He really didn't want to get involved with vampires, but seeing the sun high above him made him feel a little better.

Furthermore, listening to the book, if this is a type of undead creature, The Aztec rune can probably control the vampire, right?

[Correct, but it depends on the vampire's power, the higher the strength and intelligence, the harder it is to control and the more magic it consus.]

The people around Rigel didn't see him talking to the book, they only saw him looking thoughtful for a while, and then Rigel spoke to them again.

"Tell , where did this boat co from?" he asked the more receptive black man.

The man swallowed hard, running his tongue over his dry lips and speaking. "Transylvania, Romania."

Rigel stopped, stunned, his eyes slowly widening. He swallowed nervously and asked. "What's the na of that ship?"

"Deter." The old man said, but Rigel paid no attention.

'Damn! This is the story of Dracula!' Rigel thought, almost turning around and running straight away. No matter which version it is, Dracula is always an extrely powerful vampire!

"Go back!" Rigel shouted to the crew, then pointed to the captives. "All of you, go back to the Interceptor, take them with you."

"Wait! My grandson!" The old man shouted, but at that mont, a loud sound was heard as Pintel and Ragetti ca running quickly, startled as if they had seen a ghost. Fortunately, the boy had been brought into Ragetti's arms.

Rigel looked at the boy and saw that he hadn't caught fire yet, so there was still ti to save him.

"Captain! Captain! A monster! He almost got us!" Pintel shouted in fright.

Rigel ignored the pair and shouted. "To the Interceptor! Quick!"

The pair didn't need a second request, soon all the pirates threw the captives into the interceptor, and Rigel jumped into the interceptor as well.

"Rum! Throw all the rum!" Rigel shouted to them, still a little frightened, looking at the ship as if he expected sothing to fly out of it.

The group of pirates seed shocked, but the children, Will and Elizabeth, didn't hesitate. Soon, the pirates, reluctantly, also grabbed the bottles of rum that Rigel had taken from Barbossa's treasure and hurled them against the hull of the Deter, the glass bottles shattering against the ship's hull.

Rigel even used his magic to make the barrels of rum brought from the deposit shatter on the Deter's deck.

Rigel never took his eyes off the ship, still nervous, he seed to sense sothing, looking at a small window where a pair of white, lifeless eyes stared back at him in the darkness. Rigel almost thought he was hallucinating.

Even so, he no longer dared to hesitate.

First he waved his wand, Expecto Diabolus forming around him, stretching about six ters in length, then he pointed it at Deter, aiming at where most of the rum was concentrated.

"Incendio!" He shouted. His "Fire" was as ridiculous as the fla of a candle, but it was enough, the ship caught fire.

"No!" One of the sailors shouted, but Rigel ignored him, watching the fire spread.

He didn't care about achievents, although he knew Diabolus was powerful, but a vampire's speed is such that Rigel would have his throat pierced before he could control it to attack.

He wouldn't risk his life like that.

The old man, though glancing briefly at the fire spreading across Deter, turned his gaze to his grandson, then to Rigel.

"You're a Witch, aren't you?! Please, I'll pay anything, but my grandson, save him, please!" The man pleaded.

Rigel ignored him, listening to the roars of the Deter, he didn't dare look away, Diabolus still firmly around him. Rigel hadn't fully recovered yet, but in this situation, he let Diabolus grow to 15 ters while standing in front of the Interceptor, ready to stop anything.

One of the sailors looked at Rigel as if he were the devil, praying even louder, which irritated Pintel, who slapped him hard. "Shut up! Are you a priest?! Stop that damned prayer."

The crew, seeing Rigel so frightened, knowing that not even when facing the undead pirates or the cursed ghosts had their captain been so scared, beca even more apprehensive about what was on that ship.

"You know what he is..." The woman between them finally spoke, looking at Rigel's performance. She wanted to raise both hands in support, between them, only Anna's fear of Dracula compared to Rigel's.

Rigel rely glanced sideways at her before ignoring her, too preoccupied to worry about anything else.

The woman didn't mind, focusing her eyes on the burning ship, the fire spreading faster and faster.

"Anamaria!" Rigel shouted.

"Yes, Captain?" the woman stepped out from among the pirates and asked, looking at the burning ship, also frightened.

Rigel gave a simple command, his voice low and slightly trembling. "Move the boat away, we don't want the Interceptor to burn too."

The woman nodded and shouted to the pirates. "You heard the captain's orders! Move the boat away!"

The pirates didn't need to be asked a second ti, if it were up to them, they would have left a long ti ago.
