Now reading: Chapter 7 7: Chap.7 - Is that Jack Sparrow?! from [HP] - Adventure Book [Xover], a Action novel by MarchRain.

A week had passed since he had received the Hogwarts letter, and Rigel felt he was ready, as ready as he could possibly be.

The book made it clear that the first world would be easier, so he hoped so. The book in question continued to float around him, unseen by anyone. Sotis he would open it and write a new paragraph, usually involving his preparations for the adventure. Fortunately, he left it alone during ordinary monts, such as eating, sleeping, and using the bathroom.

It rarely interacted with him, only when he would ask any questions or share his thoughts.

In any case, he considered himself ready, with a small coin pouch tied to his waist that seed ordinary, until they discovered that the interior space was as large as a house and that it accepted not only coins, but also any item.

Everything he had bought and prepared was there, including food he had asked Kreacher to prepare, and he himself had used a cookbook to extend its shelf life, a useful spell for a society without refrigerators.

He also collected a lot of water and had Kreacher steal so clothes for different climates and uses from a Muggle shop.

The Kreacher complained the whole ti, but he did it.

With a sigh he turned to the book, which opened instantly.

[Ready?]

"Yes, let's do it." he requested.

The pages of the book turned and revealed a blank page.

[Chapter 2]

[Rigel finally felt ready, he turned to his trusty artifact, the adventure book, and said, "I'm ready, let's begin this journey!"]

Rigel's lips trembled, sensing that the book was taking too much poetic license. The next mont, the book began to glow, and before Rigel could understand what was happening, a flash of light enveloped him.

//-//

When Rigel opened his eyes again, he found himself stunned, more so than he had ever been, even when he was reborn into this world it was less bewildering.

Reason?

"Hey, kid! You can't sleep on the docks! Where are your parents?" A strange man wearing a white wig was shaking his shoulder.

Hearing the English accent, which was slightly familiar but also strange, he beca even more confused.

Looking around, he saw the book beside him, already writing sothing down, but he ignored it. He found himself in a port with several boats docked, civilians dressed as in the Georgian Era walking hurriedly, and the sll...

Rigel unconsciously sniffed, even the well-dressed man in front of him still exuded a foul odor masked by cheap perfu.

Rigel almost wanted to pull out his wand and wipe that man clean, no, wipe everything around him clean.

He never considered himself a germophobic, until now.

"Kid, are you alright? Did you hit your head?" The man in the wig asked again, confused.

Rigel looked at himself and noticed that he was still dressed as before, his bag still at his waist, fortunately, there was a spell on the bag so it wouldn't be noticed by Muggles, or perhaps it had already been looted.

"I'm fine, sir, I'll leave right now." Rigel stood up abruptly, still slightly confused, but he didn't want to remain in that place any longer.

Luckily, Rigel's clothes still looked noble, although a little strange, they were still appropriate for the ti, so he saw no reason to change. The man also didn't treat him like a street urchin because he dressed like a nobleman and even slled clean, which is rare in that place.

He didn't stop Rigel, frowning slightly in confusion, but in the end he saw no reason to dwell on other people's problems, leaving the boy out of his mind until it was ti to drink with his friends and talk about that strange incident on the docks.

Rigel walked for a mont, until he was out of sight of most people, which was very difficult with his clothes, everyone looked at him with envy and greed, but no one dared to actually act, not that Rigel cared.

He first lifted the collar of his shirt and saw that Salazar raised his head, a little confused by the change in his surroundings. He spat out his tongue to sll and beca even more confused, the scent was completely different. But he didn't pay much attention to it, after all, he was from a magical world. Appearing in a different place only ant that his master had taken him away with so spell, nothing more.

Then he simply went back to sleep.

Rigel also only wanted to confirm if Salazar had co with him, so he didn't bother with that, opening his bag, he confird that everything he had brought was there, including his wand in the sheath on his wrist.

Sighing with relief, he was ready to open the book and discover what world he was in, but the next mont he was pulled from his train of thought.

Inside the alley, he looked across the street where a man dressed as a sailor with chains on his wrists was running quickly with a strange, characteristic gait.

Before Rigel's surprised eyes, the man entered a blacksmith's shop, closing the door behind him.

Rigel blinked for a mont, mories flooding his mind as he recalled that scene, occluncy helped a great deal in rembering things he should have forgotten long ago.

"Is that Jack Sparrow?!" he asked, shocked.

As soon as he said that, the book appeared in front of him, opening with a snap.
