Kasenhis humd as he returned to his office and headed straight for the Tinkers' sltery.

Cedric was still there, working diligently, upgrading his chanical arm. Well, not just the arm, his entire skeletal structure as well.

Otherwise, if he only upgraded the arm without reinforcing his bones, so rather awkward problems might occur.

For example, a few chanical arms ending up heavier than Cedric's entire body.

That was entirely possible.

This was Netherite they were talking about.

anwhile, Kasenhis pulled out a large pile of Netherite and tossed it into the sltery to lt slowly.

Then he moved to the side and casually crafted a part builder by hand.

Cedric, who was currently handcrafting an iron chanical arm to make a template, looked at Kasenhis curiously and slowly walked over to observe what he was doing.

"What are you making, sir?" Cedric asked.

"What's with the 'sir'? Just speak normally. If you've got sothing to say, say it," Kasenhis shrugged.

"I just can't help it… Professor, what are you making?" Cedric corrected himself awkwardly.

"This is called a stencil table. It can directly make part templates. But for things like chanical arms or bone upgrades that require very personalized customization, it can't handle those, so you don't need to worry about it." Kasenhis waved his hand, telling Cedric to go back to his own work.

But Cedric didn't leave. He stayed right there, watching.

Kasenhis didn't chase him off. Learning should be proactive. Why drive him away? That's a good kid.

Soon, Kasenhis made three templates: the rapier blade, the crossguard, and the handle.

First, the blade material was Netherite. That was beyond question. After all, this was the real world, not sowhere he could just build a Nether portal and go mining. The Netherite he had was already the highest-grade material available.

As for the other parts, like the crossguard and the handle…

After two hours of work and going through a series of trial-and-error comparisons, Professor Kasenhis decisively chose to make everything out of Netherite.

Although using Netherite for every part might not be the most cost-effective option, brute force solved everything.

As long as the stats were high, that was enough.

After a round of clanging and hamring, Kasenhis picked up the still slightly warm Netherite rapier and gave it a casual swing. Even with his Netherite skeleton, he could feel the weight of it, let alone Steve, whose fra was just ordinary steel bones.

"Hmm… oh!" After thinking for two seconds, Kasenhis quickly hand-crafted an upgrade station.

This upgrade station was also a feature of Tinkers' Construct. It could use ores to enhance equipnt, for example, using redstone to increase speed…

This wasn't so "I think, therefore it works" logic. It was literally coded that way. Using redstone to upgrade equipnt granted the Haste attribute.

For example, reinforcing a wooden pickaxe fifty tis with redstone could make its mining speed equal to an iron pickaxe. It was all chanics.

But redstone increasing speed… heh.

Before understanding certain Warhamr s, he really didn't get why redstone was associated with speed. Maybe the first Tinkers' Construct master in the Minecraft world was a greenskin after all.

After all, the entire mod was filled with that "I think, therefore it works" energy.

Once the upgrade station was made, he placed the rapier in the center. Only then did he notice that Cedric was still standing beside him, watching.

"Got nothing to do?" Kasenhis asked.

"Yeah, pretty much," Cedric nodded.

"If you've got nothing to do, go make a sheath for this sword." Kasenhis pulled out a sheet of paper and wrote down the specifications.

"Professor, what style do you want?" Cedric asked.

"Flashy and extravagant. If you need gemstones or precious tals, just take them from my chest." As Kasenhis spoke, he began placing various materials into the slots around the upgrade station.

For example, a blaze rod to add fire damage, redstone to increase swing speed, quartz to boost attack power…

"Even though it's Netherite, let's add so durability regeneration." As he spoke, Kasenhis tossed in a large amount of diamonds along with a ball of moss.

After a round of clinking sounds, Kasenhis picked up the rapier in satisfaction. It was flashy to the extre, and perfectly matched his aesthetic.

"So this is what I used to be like?" Kasenhis clicked his tongue, then glanced at the loose, incredibly comfortable wizard robes he was wearing now.

"Whatever, people change." Saying that, he walked toward the infusion altar with the rapier.

Using the infusion thod of the Cloud Ring to enchant the rapier could greatly reduce its weight, allowing Steve to wield and slash it with ease.

"I really am a qualified professor," Kasenhis murmured contentedly.

anwhile, Cedric ca over holding a smoothly polished sheath, decorated with a few scattered gemstones.

"Oh, thanks, Cedric." Kasenhis took it and slid the rapier into the sheath. It fit perfectly, and drawing it out was smooth as well.

"Not bad at all." Kasenhis weighed the rapier in his hand, satisfied.

"Professor, you put so much effort into making this sword. Is it for yourself, or for soone else?" Cedric asked curiously.

"It's a gift. For a new friend of mine." A natural, relaxed smile appeared on Kasenhis's face.

"Curious," Cedric said succinctly.

"If you're curious, then you can deliver this gift for . He's in the Headmaster's office. His na is Steve. When you go in, the most unexpected person you see will be him." Kasenhis led Cedric to the desk, then took out a gift box specially made for storing blades, placed the rapier inside, and tied it up.

"The most unexpected person? Professor, to be honest, I don't really understand," Cedric said, frowning.

"That's hard to explain. But once you see him, you'll understand why I said unexpected." Kasenhis raised an eyebrow.

After personally handing the gift to Steve, Cedric walked out of the Headmaster's office.

He was still a bit stunned…

But Kasenhis hadn't been wrong at all.

"…Yeah, that was definitely unexpected."
