Seeing this, Alan naturally wouldn't let the other party get his wish. He raised his hand, firing a 'Sectumsempra' at him before throwing out a silver chain—a Soul-Binding Serpent. The 'Binding Spirit Lock' equipnt he had used earlier had already neutralized one powerful spell, but that item was made of expensive materials and he only had the one; now, he had to make do with the small tal snake in his hand.

Faced with the spell rapidly closing in on him, the masked man had no choice but to abandon his own incantation to prioritize blocking the sharp attack. After interrupting the opponent's casting, Alan turned his attention back to his primary target.

The wizard he had been focusing on was at the end of his rope. Alan knew he couldn't let the man behind him interfere; he had to redouble his efforts to eliminate this opponent. The masked man, continuously suppressed, felt a jolt of panic when he saw Alan's focus return to him. *This bastard is relentless; is he coming again?*

His wand hand was aching, and a counterattack seed impossible. He realized his only hope was to find a way to preserve his strength. Mobilizing the last of his magic, the masked man pointed his wand at the ground, and his body began to sink into the earth.

*Trying to use that burrowing magic again?*

Alan smiled coldly. He moved swiftly, leaping high into the air with a whoosh. He gripped his wand upside down and, upon landing, struck the ground with imnse force. A powerful surge of electricity pierced into the earth. At this mont, only the head of the masked man remained above ground; he suddenly let out a violent scream.

"Ah ah ah!"

Along with the pained cries, the man's body twitched uncontrollably. Wisps of green smoke began to rise from him, and the acrid sll of burnt at filled the air.

"Glaraling!"

The masked man behind Alan had just managed to shake off the tal snake when he saw his companion electrocuted. He shouted his teammate's codena in distress. Watching two teammates die successively at Alan's hands filled him with anxiety—not out of grief, but because the situation was now critical. If left alone, he wasn't confident he could deal with this troubleso enemy.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Desperate, the masked man unleashed the Killing Curse. Under normal circumstances, they rarely used the Unforgivable Curses; against a strong opponent, such high-consumption spells were often no more effective than others and wasted precious magic. Furthermore, the Unforgivable Curses took a toll on the caster's soul—a significant drawback for duelists who emphasized calmness and a firm will.

Alan didn't even blink as the green light shot toward him. The Lincoln Sphere automatically deployed, transforming into a tal shield that solidly blocked the death spell, leaving him completely unhard.

"Windstorm!"

Tina's voice echoed through the thick fog, and a powerful gust dispersed the remaining haze. As visibility returned, Newt and Tina were seen calmly walking from their house. Newt held a compact, tal kettle. A gentle stream of water gushed from it, flowing to the ground and lingering around his feet like a loyal magic carpet. To Alan, it looked remarkably like Gaara's sand, though it used water instead.

Not far from the couple, the masked man who had rushed them earlier was scattered across the ground. He hadn't even left a complete corpse; he had been frozen into a block of ice and then shattered. Large shards of ice were still attached to his severed limbs.

Tina, wand in hand, approached the two remaining combatants with cold eyes. She glanced at the head remaining on the ground from the man Alan had electrocuted, then looked up at the sky.

"Sir, thank you for your help, but can you please put my grandson down first? It's late, and the weather is freezing. What if he catches a cold?" Tina said, frowning slightly.

Alan didn't speak. He simply nodded and gestured through the air. The cloak wrapped around Rolf slowly descended toward Tina. Once the boy was safely by her side, the collar loosened and the cloak whooshed back, draping over Alan's shoulder.

Seeing Rolf safe, Tina felt a wave of relief. She had finally confird that Alan harbored no ill will; until that mont, she had remained subtly wary of the stranger. Rolf imdiately rushed into her arms. Still silenced by a spell, he could only make excited muffled sounds.

Tina held him tightly, tapping him with her wand to lift the silence while scolding him. "Look at you, Rolf! Grandma has told you countless tis not to run around late at night. You almost got into serious trouble today." She lightly tapped his head with her wand in a mock-rebuke.

Rolf completely ignored the scolding. He looked at his grandmother and then at Alan with wide, excited eyes. "Grandma, did you see? I was flying! I was up in the sky without a broom! It was so cool! And that man..." He pointed at Alan. "He was amazing! He beat those two bad guys all by himself! I saw it from above—there were flashes everywhere, it was so exciting!"

Tina was fuming. She suddenly realized that the boy had just witnessed people being killed and shouldn't be this enthusiastic about it. She quickly covered his eyes with her hand, holding him tight despite his struggles to see more.

anwhile, Newt, having confird his family was safe, turned toward the last remaining masked man with a serious expression.
