Considering that most of those present were students from Classes C and D, Nagumo Miyabi added a bit more information.

Class 1-A: 1000 points - 45 points = 955 points.

"955 points?"

"You're saying Class 1-A actually has 955 points after a month-long special exam? That ans this month's living expenses are 95,500 points!" a Class D student's eyes widened suddenly.

"No, rather, it should be said that Class A only lost 45 points during this month's conduct assessnt!"

The crowd instantly understood what the annotation provided by Vice President Nagumo ant.

He had written out the points deducted for each class.

A month-long conduct assessnt, covering the behavior of 40 students in a class, and they only lost 45 points.

That averages out to only 1.1 points per student!

What kind of powerhouse is this? Terrifying. Truly terrifying!

"Heh." A rare trace of a smile appeared on Katsuragi Kohei's face.

Although Ryuen Kakeru's words just now were clearly intended to sow division within Class A, the result now spoke for itself. Even if two factions existed within the class, the overall strength of Class A remained undeniably powerful.

"Heh, not bad." Ryuen Kakeru looked toward Katsuragi, his tone slightly flippant.

"For Class A, this performance is passable. But that's about it."

"It's more than 'passable'." Nagumo Miyabi corrected him imdiately.

"Looking across all past Class As, those who could maintain over 900 points in the first month's conduct exam are few and far between."

"After horoom ends, please have Katsuragi-kouhai and Sakayanagi-kouhai co to the Student Council office," Secretary Tachibana Akane added opportunely.

"The President wishes to see you."

"Does that an a comndation?" Although his na wasn't called, Totsuka Yahiko's face was flushed with excitent because his leader had been summoned.

As students of Class A, which possessed the highest discipline and comprehensive strength, they had spent the month striving to act as model students.

Now, receiving a reward was a cause for celebration.

"So, does Class B have that privilege as well?" Katsuragi's thoughts shifted to this point.

Class A's "ticket" to see the President was a reward for excellent performance, but he couldn't help but recall encountering Hikigaya Hachiman in the Student Council office earlier. At that ti, Hikigaya didn't look like soone who didn't want to compete for anything.

"Yes, this year's Class B is equally outstanding." Nagumo Miyabi proceeded to answer his query.

"Though we haven't had the chance to speak in detail, Hikigaya-kouhai from Class B indeed accomplished sothing unexpected. By reporting violations by personnel in the shopping district, he earned extra bonus points.

I am listing the deductions and additions in detail next to explain this point," Nagumo explained.

As he spoke, he continued writing the next class's score on the small blackboard.

Class 1-B: 1000 points - 189 points 100 points = 911 points.

The "-189 points" was easy to understand, representing the total conduct deductions for Class B last month. But that conspicuous " 100 points" was exceptionally special; it was clearly a reward from the school for making a special contribution.

"I see... so it really worked." Katsuragi crossed his arms, a flicker of regret passing through his heart.

Initially, he had only focused on reporting Class C and monitoring Class B's movents.

He had heard that Hikigaya was reporting staff violations in the shopping district, yet he hadn't followed suit by looking for loopholes to report as well. Otherwise, Class A might have won the sa bonus.

Even though they had discerned the school's truth and the conduct assessnt chanism on the first day, gaining an absolute head start, they failed to pull significantly ahead of Class B. This was undoubtedly his own miscalculation.

His strategy of pursuing stability was good for maintaining an advantage, but once other classes seized special opportunities to leap forward, he appeared sowhat caught off guard.

So, perhaps, he really did have deficiencies?

Thus, Katsuragi fell into deep self-reflection.

"So, Class A has 955 and Class B has 911?" Ryuen Kakeru of Class C interjected again.

"Correct. Next is Class C." Nagumo's gaze turned toward Ryuen Kakeru.

Although this kouhai appeared intimidating, unfortunately, Nagumo already knew his class's final result.

"You are Ryuen Kakeru from Class C, right? The Student Council has received multiple reports regarding fighting in your class over the past month. Your horoom teacher will notify you of the specific disciplinary decisions during horoom," Nagumo Miyabi added, as if suddenly rembering.

"Tsk, I knew it!" Ryuen cursed under his breath.

He had never been naive enough to think the school would tolerate multiple fights without concern; the delayed reaction could only an a reckoning after the fact.

But as long as the reckoning was delayed until next month, it was fine!

He calculated that as long as he could completely take control of the class in advance and use an iron-fisted thod to force students to follow the rules of conduct, under his high-pressure rule, Class C might even be more self-disciplined than Classes A or B.

Therefore, he estimated that even with multiple reports from Class A, the deductions would never exceed Class C's normal losses in a natural state. He should have a floor of at least 600 points.

While 600 points would still leave a gap between them and the "enlightened" Classes A and B, it wasn't a gap that made a fight impossible.

Moreover, he had gathered hearts and minds earlier than any previous Class C leader, condensing the entire class into a single will that answered only to him. He was the incarnation of Class C.

Therefore, Ryuen actually felt he still held the advantage.

"So, exactly how many points?" At this mont, Ayanokouji from Class D suddenly pressed.

"Yeah! Stop beating around the bush and talking nonsense, just write it down already!"

More Class D students who hadn't received their living expenses urged irritably. They thought the delay was just because the school's finance departnt hadn't started work yet, and they were desperate to know how many points they would get this month.

Hearing this, Nagumo shook his head helplessly. A look of pity also flashed across the face of Secretary Tachibana Akane.

"I wanted to let you bear this blow a little later, but it seems now the pain must be brought forward." Vice President Nagumo Miyabi sighed, picked up the chalk, and clearly wrote Class 1-C's score on the blackboard.

Class 1-C: 0 points.

"Class 1-C... 0 points? You an the base 1000 points were all deducted? Not a single point left?!" a Class D student shrieked.

"Wasn't it just one month's exam? To actually lose everything, that's way too miserable!"

"That's hilarious! Just a second ago I thought Class C was becoming hot stuff, and they get 0! Actually 0 points!"

Clearly, the Class D students had not yet realized the gravity of the situation.

"What the hell!"

Ryuen Kakeru, who had already pushed to the front row surrounded by Class C students, now violently shoved aside the people in front of him. He even rudely brushed Nagumo Miyabi aside with his hand and rushed to the blackboard.

"Are you sure you didn't write that wrong?" He stared intently at the number on the board, his voice filled with disbelief.

"I am the Vice President of the Student Council." Nagumo Miyabi clearly showed his displeasure at Ryuen's rude behavior.

"I'm asking if this number is truly correct!" Ryuen's gaze remained nailed to that piercing "0," full of unwillingess and suspicion.

"This number is accurate and without error. Your horoom teacher will formally notify you during horoom shortly." Nagumo spread his hands.

Although his philosophy differed from Horikita Manabu's—and he supported a more intense form of ritocracy where violence could be considered a type of strength—Ryuen's vulgarity still made him sowhat dissatisfied.

Thus, as if he no longer wanted to deal with Ryuen, he said, "And finally, this is Class 1-D's score."

He seed to write very smoothly.

Class 1-D: 0 points.

Well, because Class 1-D was also 0 points.

Since they were both 0 points, it was naturally easy to write.

Class D's 1000-point base had likewise been stripped completely clean.

At this point, the results of the first month's special exam were settled:

Class A: 955 points Class B: 911 points Class C: 0 points

Class D: 0 points

Between Classes AB and Classes CD, a massive, suffocating chasm had appeared.

"..."

The entire space instantly fell into a dead silence.

However, this silence lasted only for the briefest of monts.

Imdiately after—

"HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!!!" ca the roar from 60 people on the scene.
