A cough from the side saved him, as usual, from NukEncore’s natural charm.

Chaosgraphy sat with one leg folded beneath her, her damp white hair clinging to her shoulders. She looked calr than before. So frustration still lingered in her eyes after the loss, but it no longer felt sharp.

Kill Clause sat quietly nearby, already staring at invisible windows as if the celebration had beco another dataset.

Crimson Halo, anwhile, tried to maintain her usual elegance despite the cramped shell and the water dripping from her clothes. She sat near the edge, careful and graceful, though Ao Tenshin’s occasional sway forced her to place one hand down for balance.

After looking at them all, Martin finally rembered the news burning a hole in his chest.

"Guys, the leader of Just Die reached out to . She offered $100,000 for Raze Dawg’s sword. We’re taking the offer, right? That’s $20,000 per person! Aweso, right?!"

NukEncore didn’t show much of a reaction, as usual. "Mhm. Yes."

For her, it was just another dress. Maybe a few.

Chaosgraphy nodded. "It’s aweso."

Even so, she didn’t have even ten percent of Martin’s excitent.

Kill Clause, on the other hand, spoke in trics as usual. "You did a lot more than all of us combined. You should take a higher cut. You deserve it."

Crimson Halo hadn’t been there the last ti Martin had received a real-money offer for the Crystal Spear, so she didn’t know this was the second ti sothing like this had happened. Even so, she was shocked beyond belief.

Her eyes moved from NukEncore to Chaosgraphy, then to Kill Clause. For a brief second, her expression went blank.

You’re all coming off as callous, idiots!

It wasn’t that they ant to be cold. Crimson Halo understood that much.

NukEncore lived in a world where money flowed around her like perfu. Chaosgraphy was a famous actress. Kill Clause asured everything by contribution, efficiency, and fairness.

Martin was different, and so was his smile.

That money was not a number floating in a ga window to him. It ant rent, food, comfort, relief, family, and proof that the ti he had spent in this strange world had beco sothing real.

The mont Crimson Halo looked back at him, her expression softened.

She sat near the edge of Ao Tenshin’s shell, and even though Ao Tenshin had grown a lot, there was still limited space. As the shell swayed beneath her, Crimson Halo turned around and crawled toward Martin on all fours, looking far from her usual elegant self.

Water slid down her crimson hair and traced the curve of her cheek. Her damp clothes clung to her mature figure, outlining every dangerous softness with rciless precision.

Each careful movent made her ample chest sway beneath her, and Martin’s gaze betrayed him before his mind could stop it.

She was probably only trying to move closer, but to Martin, every small motion felt designed to destroy him.

The dip of her waist, the gentle arch of her back, and the rounded curve of her ass as she crawled across Ao Tenshin’s shell all dragged his eyes downward no matter how desperately he tried to behave.

And the way her tits shifted with each slow advance did not help him at all.

He had survived raids, ambushes, guild wars, and monsters large enough to crush him underfoot, yet Crimson Halo approaching him on all fours was sohow more dangerous than all of them.

She raised her hands and placed them on his shoulders as if she herself were so kind of puppy. The gesture should have been innocent, maybe even cute, but her body was so close that innocence beca a thin excuse. Her chest hovered near his eyes, close enough for Martin to forget where he was for a second.

His gaze naturally dropped.

"Martin."

Her llifluous voice pulled his eyes back up, which sohow made everything worse.

Crimson Halo’s face dazzled him. Her beauty was dangerous enough on its own, but the true threat ca from the way she looked at him now, truly happy for him, warm, proud, and soft in a way that tightened his chest before his instincts could defend him.

"That’s beyond aweso, Martin," she said, her voice lower than the surrounding celebration. "That’s the kind of money that lets you breathe for once, isn’t it? You can plan ahead with that."

Martin was overwheld with happiness. "Yeah! I got promoted, so I have more ti on my hands and even more inco, but with this, I can afford so luxuries back ho! I’ll order so good food today and buy a new mattress and pillows. That’s the best part of life! I’ll also call my mother and ask if she needs any financial help. I wouldn’t be playing this ga without her help."

Crimson Halo’s switch flipped the mont he said the dangerous word "mom."

Her smile changed, remaining sweet while gaining a slow, velvety depth that made Martin’s instincts ring every alarm at once.

"I’d give her the best mom of the year award," Crimson Halo said.

Before Martin fully processed the danger, her hand was already on his cheek. Her palm was warm despite the cool water around them, and her thumb brushed lightly near his cheekbone. She caressed him as if he were her good boy, her eyes pulling him deeper in.

Martin’s cheeks reddened, and his usual composure cracked. He couldn’t wrap his head around it. Crimson Halo had sohow sucked him into her orbit and turned him, the forr delinquent and stubborn man, into her good boy.

"That was sweet of you, Martin," Crimson Halo whispered. "Thinking about your mother right away... you really are a good man, aren’t you?"

The words struck him harder than any boss attack.

NukEncore’s charm was direct and explosive. Chaosgraphy’s beauty was sharp enough to cut. Kill Clause’s presence was cool, strange, and precise. Crimson Halo, however, wrapped warmth around him first, and by the ti Martin noticed, that warmth had already beco a trap.

Her thumb traced his cheek again, slow and affectionate. The movent was gentle, almost motherly, but the softness of her body pressing so close, the warmth in her eyes, and the seductive curve of her smile turned it into sothing that scattered Martin’s thoughts.

"Tell more about her," Crimson Halo said, leaning just a little closer. "How did she get you into this ga?"

"Uh, you could say it was so I could et you..." Martin replied.

"My, my... really?"

Crimson Halo’s smile widened, her lips parting seductively. Her fingers slid from his cheek to his jaw, and Martin forgot that an entire guild was still celebrating around them.

The waterfall, the lake, the players, and even the $100,000 offer all blurred at the edges of his mind.

Crimson Halo’s eyes stayed on his, and for one terrifying mont, Martin wondered if she was actually going to keep going in public.

Then her younger sister elbowed her from the side and sent her flying off Ao Tenshin’s shell into the lake.

"Kyaaaa!"

Crimson Halo disappeared beneath the surface with a dramatic splash.

Martin remained frozen in place, his cheeks still red and her warmth still lingering on his face.
