They stood there for a mont longer, the breeze tugging gently at Sira's coat while Lux's shirt fluttered around his waist like a tailored battle flag. The sun was already high, warm across the patio, casting golden light across the stone floor where Zehar still sulked behind a bush like a cursed pudding with abandonnt issues.
The silence didn't last.

Lux exhaled, annoyed. "Of course. What now?"
He flicked a finger and pulled the screen forward. It glowed white-gold in front of him, lined with divine script like soone tried to make Helvetica divine. His inbox never looked so… smug.

Dear Lord Lux Vaelthorn,
As High Custodian of Progression Paths and Head of the Oversight Division, I formally request your presence at the Upper Celestial Office regarding your unexplained absence and communication blackout during the past seven (7) days.
The council seeks clarity and transparency regarding your recent activities, as well as assurance that your current state of affairs does not conflict with existing agreents between infernal and celestial departnts.
You are required to attend a review eting tomorrow at precisely 10:00 AM (Mortal Realm Ti). A portal access code will be issued upon confirmation.

Lux closed the screen with a snort. "Tomorrow at ten. What a shock."
Sira leaned into him slightly, her hair brushing his cheek. "Celestial?"
"Yep," he said, rubbing his temple. "The Oversight Bureau wants to explain why I ghosted them. Like it's my fault I got tied to the bed by my own girls. I couldn't work; my nerves were damaged."
She clicked her tongue. "Well. At least they're polite about being paranoid."
"Professionally paranoid," Lux muttered. "The worst kind."
He tossed himself onto the garden bench with all the flair of a CEO who just barely survived a demonic hostile takeover and now had to go explain it to the heavenly IRS. The stone bench was warm from the sun but absolutely not designed for comfort. And yet here he was.
Sira stayed standing, arms crossed, one hip popped slightly. She stared at Zehar, still sulking.
"Don't pick on him too hard," Lux added, eyes half-lidded now. "He's not exactly cuddly, but he is an ancient Lord."
She glanced down at him. "So?"
"So he might be useful," Lux said with a shrug. "I just haven't figured out how yet. But like you said… the old lords might not like ."
Sira's gaze sharpened, her tone lowering. "They don't like you."
"Exactly," Lux replied, closing one eye. "Which ans I need leverage. If Zehar's from their generation, maybe even one of their old war allies or enemies…" He opened the eye again and smiled faintly. "Then he's a key. Or a trap. Either way, I want him on my shelf."
Zehar bubbled behind the bush, insulted.
Sira's eyes glowed slightly, her power rising. "True…" she said in a low voice. "But if he betrays you—"
"I'll destroy him," Lux finished easily. "Contract law. Soulbound with Greed priority clause. He so much as twitches wrong and boom, liquidation."
Zehar hissed in warning.
Sira smirked. "Still. I'll keep an eye on him."
"I expected nothing less."
Then Lux tilted his head back, eyes on the sky now. The sun glared right into his pupils, and he smiled like it was a challenge. "So… since you're ho."
Her head tilted.
"And I'm bored."
She raised a brow.
He grinned, lazy, amused, tired. "How about we—"
"Oh, you know what I want, Lux~"
He didn't even have ti to respond. Sira vanished from sight and then reappeared behind him with a rush of demonic speed, her arms wrapping around his chest and her weight shoving him down onto the bench.
Lux let out a grunt, half laugh, half surprise. "This is stone, you maniac."
Sira grinned, straddling his lap. "And you're Hell's most expensive mattress. You'll survive."
Her hands were already exploring, one tracing along the buttons of his shirt, the other slipping down to his belt. Her fingers danced, skilled and impatient, her nails dragging just enough to remind him who she was.
Lux smirked, his hands sliding to her hips. "How about the bed?"
"Screw the bed," Sira whispered, biting his earlobe. "We haven't done open-air yet."
He chuckled, low and husky, his hands tightening around her. "You're insatiable."
"I'm Pride," she said sweetly, grinding against him. "We don't settle for less."
They kissed, hard. It wasn't tender. It wasn't sweet. It was fire and teeth and muffled growls as Sira's tongue slipped into his mouth like she was claiming him all over again. Lux bit her lower lip and pulled her closer, growling low in his throat. His charm aura activated on instinct, but she didn't need the boost, her pupils were already dilated, and her scent? Lust, ozone, victory.

She moaned against his mouth, nails digging into his shoulder blades. "I forgot how good you taste."
Lux leaned back slightly, eyes glittering. "Still wanna use the bench?"
Sira grabbed his collar and yanked him back into another kiss.
"Shut up and ruin ," she whispered.
Lux grinned.
"Gladly."
Fabric ca off fast. Too fast. Buttons popped. Sira shrugged out of her clothes in one smooth motion, bare skin eting sunlight, warm and dangerous.
Lux's hands slid over her waist, thumbs digging in possessively as he kissed down her jaw, teeth grazing, biting just enough to make her hiss. She answered by raking her nails down his chest, licking a slow line up his throat, then biting his collarbone like she owned it.
Heat. Breath. Skin on skin. The world narrowed to taste and touch and the bench digging into Lux's back.
And then…
A sharp rush of wind.
"My Lord!"
Fenrir skidded into the patio in a blur of panic, eyes wide, tail stiff.
"There's a crazy mortal at the front gates!" he barked. "Screaming your na. Crying. And I think… I think she brought a gaphone."
