Chapter 818 – Primordial Sin Effects [Part 2]

Lux huffed out a laugh.

"Damn right."

He pushed off the wall, turning the water off.

Steam lingered as he stepped out, grabbing a towel, drying himself slowly.

Not rushed.

Not distracted.

Just... present.

That was new.

Usually, there was always sothing running in his head.

Calculations. Risks. Moves. Countermoves.

Now?

There was still that.

But quieter.

Like background noise instead of the main event.

He walked back into the room.

Still a ss.

Still chaos.

Still... warm.

The air hadn’t lost it yet, that faint lingering heat, the kind that clung to skin and sheets and mories like it didn’t want to leave. It wasn’t overwhelming. Just present. Like a quiet reminder of what the night had been.

Lux stepped in, barefoot, careful again, because apparently his room had officially evolved into a trap dungeon.

He exhaled lightly, running a hand through his damp hair.

A presence.

Behind him.

Close.

Too close to be coincidence.

Soft breath brushed against his neck.

"Morning~"

Sira.

Of course.

Lux didn’t flinch.

Didn’t turn imdiately either.

Just let out a slow breath through his nose, shoulders relaxing a fraction.

"...You’re awake."

Her body pressed lightly against his back, half-naked, warmth against warmth. Not needy. Not demanding. Just there. Comfortable. Like she belonged exactly where she was.

Which?

Yeah.

She did.

Her chin rested briefly against his shoulder, her fingers trailing lazily along his arm.

"You left early," she murmured.

"Didn’t want to step on a whip again."

A soft huff of amusent left her.

"You say that like it hasn’t happened before."

"It has," Lux replied dryly. "And I learned."

"Liar."

He smirked faintly.

Before he could answer, another presence.

This one... slower.

Floating.

"Lux..."

Lullaby.

Lux didn’t even need to look.

She drifted into his side, pillow in hand like it was an extension of her soul, eyes half-lidded, barely awake, but sohow still aware enough to move straight toward him.

She leaned in.

Soft.

Lazy.

And pressed a light kiss against his cheek.

"Last night... was the best..."

Her voice was barely above a whisper.

Lux paused.

Not visibly.

But inside?

Yeah.

Sothing shifted again.

"You say that every ti."

"Because it keeps being true..."

She rested her head against him imdiately after, like the conversation had already exhausted her.

Of course it did.

He adjusted slightly without thinking, letting her settle.

That part ca naturally now.

Which was...

Yeah.

Dangerous.

"...Lux."

Naomi’s voice.

He looked up.

She was sitting up now, blanket loosely wrapped around her, hair ssy, eyes still adjusting, but there was sothing else there.

Sothing sharper.

Sothing... clearer.

"I feel..."

She hesitated.

Brows furrowed slightly.

"Stronger."

Lux’s gaze sharpened.

Not outwardly.

But internally?

Yeah.

He noticed.

"Define stronger."

Naomi blinked once, then looked down at her hands, flexing her fingers slowly like she was testing sothing invisible.

"...It’s hard to explain," she murmured. "Like... my body responds faster. My mind feels clearer. And..."

She paused.

"...I’m not tired."

That part mattered.

A lot.

Lux didn’t answer imdiately.

Because, that confird it.

Before he could process further...

"Lux!"

Rava’s voice cut in, a bit louder, a bit more excited than usual.

He turned.

She was already up, sitting cross-legged on the bed, eyes bright with sothing dangerously close to enthusiasm.

"I got sothing."

"...That doesn’t sound reassuring."

"It should be!"

She raised her hand.

And water.

It gathered.

Swirling.

A small vortex forming in her palm, spinning gently, reflecting the light in soft ripples.

Lux froze.

Not physically.

But ntally?

Yeah.

That wasn’t normal.

"You couldn’t do that before."

"I know!"

Her grin widened.

"I tried it this morning and it just... worked!"

The water shifted shape slightly, responding to her fingers.

Control.

Instinctive.

Clean.

Lux’s eyes narrowed just a fraction.

Interesting.

Very interesting.

Before he could comnt, another glow.

Soft.

Warm.

He turned again.

Ely.

She had raised her hand, light gathering faintly around her fingers, not blinding, not overwhelming. Gentle.

Controlled.

She glanced at Lux, then stepped closer.

"...Hold still."

He didn’t move.

Didn’t need to.

Her hand hovered near his neck.

One of the marks.

Then... Contact.

Light.

Warmth spread through the spot, subtle, almost soothing.

Lux felt it.

The shift.

The mark... Gone.

He blinked once.

"You just healed ."

Ely looked at her hand, just as surprised.

"...I... think so?"

She tilted her head slightly, studying the faint glow still lingering around her fingers.

"I couldn’t do that before..."

"Yeah," Lux murmured.

"I noticed."

There was a pause.

Not awkward.

Just...

Heavy.

Because all of them felt it now.

The difference.

The change.

The cause.

Ely looked at him again.

"...What happened?"

Simple question.

Complicated answer.

Lux exhaled slowly.

Then, he smiled.

Not wide.

Not cocky.

Just... knowing.

"Lust Primordial Sin."

Silence.

They processed that.

Slowly.

Sira’s arms slipped around his waist from behind, her body pressing closer again, her chin resting lightly on his shoulder.

"That explains a lot," she murmured.

Lux reached back, hand finding her hip without looking, pulling her slightly closer.

Half-naked.

Warm.

Alive.

"It gave a blessing," he continued.

His tone stayed casual.

But his eyes?

Sharp.

Calculating.

Because this wasn’t just a perk.

This was scaling.

Dangerous scaling.

He glanced at Naomi.

Then Rava.

Then Ely.

Then Lullaby, who was already half asleep again against him.

"Seems like," he muttered slowly, "the more you have sex with ..."

He didn’t finish the sentence imdiately.

Because saying it out loud made it real.

But, they already knew.

He felt Sira shift slightly behind him, her fingers tightening just a little.

"Go on," she whispered.

Lux exhaled.

Then said it anyway.

"The stronger you get."

"And you," Naomi added quietly.

Lux glanced at her.

"Yeah."

He didn’t deny it.

Didn’t soften it either.

Because there was no point.

This wasn’t temporary.

This wasn’t a one-ti boost.

This was a system.

Sira’s lips brushed lightly against his shoulder.

"...That’s... dangerous."

"Everything about is dangerous."

"That’s not new."

"Exactly."

A faint smirk tugged at his lips.

But inside?

Yeah.

His thoughts were moving faster now.
