North District – Reduced to Ruin

The S-tier hero — Armored Beast barely had ti to process what was happening.

Super Scott's fingers had torn through his juggernaut armor like it was wet paper. A sickening crack, the screech of tal, and then— pain. The kind of pain that didn't co with warning signs, just imdiate, raw agony.

From his cracked HUD, his AI sputtered out a report:

[Armor integrity down by 40%… 67%… WARNING: Critical failure imminent.]

Armored Beast's frown deepened.

"Tch… damn it. Redirect all offensive power to the force bubble shields, reinforce it, and then—"

His voice choked.

A sharp, unbearable pain in his right arm.

His actual arm.

He looked down—blood and electricity splattered across the battlefield as his severed arm and armor were casually discarded by Super Scott like a piece of garbage. The severed limb landed with a dull, wet thud, tangled with bones, torn wires, and sparking circuits.

Super Scott barely reacted.

There was just mild disappointnt on his face.

"Tsk… such a waste."

Armored Beast let out a howl of pain as his rage burned hotter than ever. But before he could act, a devastating punch crashed into his faceplate.

BOOM!

His unbreakable armor? Shattered.

The force of the punch sent Armored Beast flying like a ho run ball, demolishing buildings in his path as he vanished into the wreckage of the district.

And then—a gust of wind.

A silver-and-blue blur arrived like a storm.

Standing before Super Scott, spear in hand, was another S-tier hero — Warrior King. His high-tech, double-bladed spear crackled with electric blue energy, and his muscular fra tensed with unshakable warrior's resolve.

Before Super Scott could react, arms like iron bands locked around his neck from behind.

A grapple. A king's grip.

Warrior King's voice was calm, but commanding.

"I've wrestled the titans of the old world. You? You're just another man who thinks himself above gods."

He spun his spear, then drove it straight into Super Scott's chest.

CRACK!

The ground shattered instantly. Lava erupted. A wave of raw energy rippled outward, tearing through the remains of the North District like a localized apocalypse. Buildings collapsed. Streets broke apart like fragile glass.

Super Scott's face twitched in annoyance.

His body trembled slightly.

Not from pain — no, the Godkiller Spear hadn't pierced through him completely…

But it was working.

The countless layers of protection around his body were breaking down.

He gritted his teeth, trying to shake off Warrior King.

"Tch… fuck this!"

But the spear held him down.

Warrior King tightened his grip.

"This spear—no, this symbol of order—is what I've used to protect the people of Orichwe… my people. It is the blade that carved my path as king. And today—"

A sonic boom cut him off.

A new force entered the battlefield.

PULSAR.

She ca like a shooting star as her cot-like arrival tore the very road apart. Cars lifted into the air like weightless debris. The sheer speed of her flight caused the air to rupture.

Her eyes? Cold, dead, rciless.

Her fists? Burning with the wrath of a dying star.

She didn't hesitate.

WHAM!

The first star-charged punch rocked Super Scott's skull.

BOOM!

The second sent shockwaves that collapsed buildings.

BOOM! BOOM!

The third and fourth punches shattered the air itself.

Even Warrior King, despite his unshakable will, felt his bones rattling from the force.

The shockwaves were that powerful!

Super Scott staggered.

His lip was split. His face bruised. He bled.

Pulsar snarled, tears brimming in her eyes.

"You bastard…"

Another punch—but this ti, she scread it out with her entire soul.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!!"

The punch connected. Hard.

Super Scott's head snapped back, and for the first ti in this fight… he actually reeled.

Pulsar was going all out. No more holding back. No more rcy. She had been waiting for this. The chance to finally unleash her full strength on a version of Scott that deserved it.

And for the first ti in months, she felt free.

She cocked her fist back for another blow—

And then—

BOOM.

A counterpunch.

Faster than she could react.

Bone shattered.

Her left cheekbone caved in.

Before she could even process the pain—

BOOM.

Another punch.

Her right cheekbone cracked.

Her vision blurred. Blood filled her mouth.

Then—an uppercut.

Her body launched into the sky as her world turned into a chaotic blur of red, black, and pain.

She felt herself lose consciousness midair—

And then she crashed. Right into a nearby skyscraper.

It crumbled.

Warrior King's heart dropped. "PULSAR!!!"

He ripped his spear out of Super Scott as his focus shifted entirely.

That was his mistake.

Super Scott snatched his wrist.

And then he slamd Warrior King into the ground.

Again. And again. And again. And again.

Each impact deeper than the last.

Warrior King's bones cracked. His vision blacked out.

His body felt like it was being ground into the dirt itself.

But Super Scott didn't stop.

He ragdolled him like a child punishing a toy.

By the ti he was done?

Warrior King was barely human anymore.

Super Scott tossed him away like trash.

Then, he dusted off his trench coat.

A smirk ford on his lips.

"… Well, at least they didn't touch the fit."

He looked down at his immaculate Luis Vuitton ensemble and chuckled.

"Damn. Can't you guys at least respect the drip? I out sauce all of you fuckers, pff—haha! These are fucking Louis Vuittons you uneducated swines. It's expensive."

With pure nonchalance, he stepped forward, then walked through the ruins of North District.

His eyes locked onto the barely conscious Pulsar.

And this ti—his expression wasn't mocking.

It was filled with sothing more. Resentnt.

And pure, unrestrained hatred.

He stopped just before her, gazing down at the small-bodied woman.

"… Ti to finish this."

Super Scott dusted his hands, a mild smile curling his lips, as he crouched down to et Pulsar's level. His presence lood over her, dominating, oppressive. Yet, there was no urgency in his movents. He was calm—almost leisurely—as he rubbed the golden ring on his finger, his soft stare fixed on her.

But this wasn't the kind of stare a man gave a woman he loved.

No, this was different. It was cold, condescending — like a king inspecting a peasant, as though she was sothing beneath him, sothing insignificant.

A speck of dust in his eyes.

Pulsar coughed up blood, her body trembling as she forced her fist to move—slow, weak, but still defiant. Yet before her knuckles could even reach halfway, a violent tremor of pain ripped through her chest and made her choke on another mouthful of blood.

Super Scott watched this with a look of mild disgust as he barely restraining his irritation. With a single finger, he pushed her hand down, the touch light—dismissive. Like she wasn't even worth the effort of truly restraining.

Then, without a word, he pulled out a small handkerchief from his pocket and tossed it onto her battered face.

He squeezed his nose in distaste.

"Hrmm…"

He exhaled sharply, his face scrunching up as though he had just slled sothing rotten.

"You know… I never really liked you. Not in my world, and certainly not in this one."

His voice was smooth, casual, but the venom in his words was crystal and clear.

"That's why I made sure to kill you before you could even start your little career as a superpowered celebrity…"

He let the last word roll off his tongue like an insult.

"And yes, celebrity. Because that's what you are. Nothing more."

He leaned in closer as his golden ring glead royally under the shattered streetlights.

Pulsar's bloodied lips trembled.

Her fists clenched weakly at his words, and she forced out a hoarse whisper.

"F-, Fuck… you…"

She coughed violently as blood dripped from her mouth.

"I-, I'm a… hero…"

Super Scott's smug smile only widened at her pathetic attempt to push back. He clicked his tongue, shaking his head like a disappointed teacher watching a failing student.

"Oh no, honey… no, you're not."

His voice was heavy with mockery.

"And I don't know how my pathetic, soft-boned counterpart didn't kill you after what you did to him."

Pulsar's eyes widened.

Shock. Disbelief.

Her battered body tensed as she stared at him.

"Wh-, What…?"

Her voice cracked, barely above a whisper.

"How did you…"

Super Scott chuckled, cutting her off.

"How did I know?"

He gently tapped the side of his head, as if instructing her to think.

"The mont I landed in this world, I accessed Scott Pri's mories. And guess what?"

His smile grew sharp.

"I saw it all."

His fingers drumd against his golden ring as he coolly continued.

"I saw how much he fucking hates himself. How he's been betrayed, lied to, and abandoned by almost everyone in his life. And you?"

He chuckled darkly. Very darkly.

"Oh, you were one of the worst offenders. You made him believe you loved him—only to throw him away the mont your precious little 'heroic calling' beca more important."

Pulsar flinched.

His words stabbed deeper than any physical wound.

Because deep down, a part of her knew… he wasn't lying.

Super Scott leaned in even closer, his breath warm against her face.

"Let's be honest, sweetheart… there was no loyalty in you, was there?"

His voice was silky smooth, but the malice underneath was suffocating.

"You abandoned the one person who would've given his everything for you. And for what? Glory? Public admiration?"

He let out a cold laugh.

"You were never really a hero. You were just a selfish, foolish, self-righteous fraud with as much loyalty as a dog the instant they're fed by so stranger simply because their owner had nothing to give them… disgusting…"

Pulsar's fists trembled as her knuckles turned white.

But she had no words—nothing to throw back at him.

And that was what made it hurt the most.

Super Scott placed a hand on her cheek, his touch unbearably gentle—mocking. He patted her face like she was nothing more than a servant kneeling before him.

"You know, I may be a killer, a tyrant, a monster in my world… but at least no one ever disrespected the way they disrespected Scott Pri."

His fingers tapped against her bruised cheek.

"And this world? It's just fortunate for all of us that Scott Pri isn't as decisive as . Otherwise, there wouldn't even be a world left to save. Don't you think?"

Silence.

Pulsar just stared at the ground.

Super Scott's smile faltered slightly.

He gave her two light pats on the cheek—more like slaps.

"Co on now, I asked you a question."

His tone remained playful, but his eyes darkened.

"A good girl answers imdiately when spoken to… or she gets her skull crushed."

His fingers traced her jaw, and then—without warning—his expression shifted.

His smile vanished.

His eyes turned into a cold abyss.

"Now answer ."

His voice was deadly calm.

"What you did to Scott Pri… was it right?"

Pulsar barely had the strength to shake her head.

Super Scott chuckled, running his tongue across his teeth before tilting his head.

"Tch. Should've figured. And yet, even after all that, Scott Pri still didn't kill you."

He let out an exaggerated sigh.

"Honestly, people will call a monster because I kill without hesitation. Because I don't hesitate to crush the weak under my heel."

He leaned in, pressing his finger between her brows.

"But you? You're worse than ."

Pulsar's breath hitched.

"You didn't kill him. You did sothing worse."

His voice was ice.

"You broke him. You tortured him. Emotionally, ntally… until there was nothing left. If he wasn't Scott McQueen, he'd be a dead man by now… killed by his own sad self…"

His hand moved to her chin, tightening—almost as if he was about to crush her skull in his grip.

His face inched closer.

His breath was the only thing she could hear.

Then—

"Do you know what I felt when I saw his mories?"

His voice was low, quiet, almost dangerous.

Pulsar's body trembled. She tried to speak—but again, no words ca out.

So she just shook her head.

Super Scott smiled.

"I felt hatred."

His grip tightened.

And the world went silent.

Super Scott lifted his fist and a powerful surge of gravity started to surround it — a force so powerful that it could pull the sun to it if he willed it or bend stars as though they were made of plastic.

He stared her down ── absolute disgust.

"For that… I'll do one good thing for my counterpart and make sure you're dead. People like you don't deserve the love and care of soone whose been abused and handled like a piece of rotting garbage."

His fist got even tighter.

"All that love… and you traded it for being a shitty celebrity hero that can't even save your friggin' world from getting conquered… beyond stupid."

Pulsar didn't argue, she just closed her eyes and bowed her head in silence.

She accepted it.

"Alright, do it…"
