Now reading: Chapter 328: Armour from Harem System In A fantasy World, a Fantasy novel by DreamlessWanderer.

Elion didn’t think too deeply about the possibility of upgrading the sword, even though the way Solron kept eyeing him made it painfully obvious that the old craftsman was secretly hoping he would go on so grand journey to recover the remaining fragnts and complete the blade in his stead.

Sure, it was an incredible opportunity, but honestly? Elion already felt like he had robbed fate blind with just this single fragnt alone.

The enchantnts were absurd.

The weapon itself was Mythical Grade, an elusive rank even kings and ancient powers coveted desperately.

Its cutting ability and durability alone were already monstrous, and that wasn’t even ntioning the ridiculous passive effects attached to it.

He was already more than satisfied.

There was no way he was going to actively go hunting across the world for nine missing fragnts of an ancient weapon without even the slightest clue where they might be hidden.

Now...

If he happened to stumble across a few fragnts by coincidence soday? Well, he certainly wouldn’t complain.

Suddenly, the sword lightly humd in his hands.

Elion imdiately froze and slowly looked down at it.

"...No way."

The blade humd again, this ti louder. Alexander and the others imdiately noticed the vibration as well.

"What’s that?" Alexander asked suspiciously.

But Elion completely ignored him. Instead, he focused inwardly toward the weapon itself.

’It can’t be that you’re expressing displeasure right now... right?’

He genuinely struggled to accept such a ridiculous possibility.

After all, talking swords were absurd. Semi-conscious enchantnts were one thing, but this thing almost felt... emotional.

The blade humd again, noticeably more aggressively this ti. It even trembled faintly in his grip, almost like it wanted to leap from his grip entirely.

Elion’s eye twitched.

’...Okay, okay!’ he imdiately conceded inwardly.

The vibration cald slightly afterward.

Elion sighed internally.

’I guess we have ti in the future for a few more side quests.’

Really, it shouldn’t be that difficult to locate the remaining nine fragnts of an ancient Mythical Grade weapon that had been lost throughout countless ages of history... right?

Even he knew he was bullshitting himself, but a man could dream. Elion suddenly realised sothing horrifying.

Now he possessed both a suspiciously sentient system that constantly threw snarky comnts at him and a semi-sentient sword that apparently wanted to reunite with its siblings.

’What a ridiculous situation I’ve found myself in,’ he thought tiredly. He was either a very lucky bastard or incredibly fated.

Eventually, Elion slowly slid Kurogoroshi back into its sheath.

The mont the blade disappeared fully into the scabbard, the room seed to exhale quietly alongside him.

Elion turned toward Solron.

And for perhaps the first ti in his life, he found himself looking at another man with genuine reverence.

Especially surprising considering the target of that respect was a loud, rough-looking, fat-bellied old craftsman with hair resembling an explosion site.

Still, the man had earned it.

Elion suppressed the strange feeling sowhat, though the respect still showed plainly across his face.

"Senior Solron," Elion said seriously, "I truly cannot thank you enough."

He glanced toward the sheathed blade.

"I can see and feel how much heart and soul you poured into crafting this weapon for ."

"Damn right I did!"

Solron imdiately interrupted proudly. The old man snorted loudly before waving him off.

"Save your pretty words. I don’t need them."

His expression softened slightly.

"I only ask one thing of you."

He pointed toward the blade now resting in Elion’s right hand.

"Use her well."

Elion looked at the old man quietly for several long seconds before finally nodding seriously.

"Of course."

"Good."

Solron suddenly clapped his hands together loudly, instantly shattering the emotional atmosphere.

"Well then!"

The old man grinned widely once more.

"Now that the sword likes you..."

His grin sohow beca even wider.

"Let’s see if the armour does too."

"Oh. Right."

Elion blinked in realisation. He had honestly forgotten the armour even existed amidst all the excitent surrounding the sword.

As amazing as the armour was probably going to be, he was fairly certain nothing in this world could top Kurogoroshi.

"Now then," Solron said, rubbing his hands together with renewed excitent.

Compared to the way he had presented the sword, the armour’s reveal was far less dramatic, but only because Kurogoroshi had already stolen all the air in the room.

Cecil walked toward another sealed display case nearby and tapped a few commands into the glowing panel beside it. A second later, the glass hissed open, and she carefully retrieved a full set of armour pieces arranged neatly within before bringing them over to the table.

The mont she laid them out, Elion could tell that this set had been made with a completely different philosophy from the heavy plate armour most frontline warriors favoured.

It was a complete Legendary Grade set, but not the kind ant to turn its wearer into a walking fortress. It was made for movent, speed, and agility. Every piece was separate, each one designed to protect the most vital areas while leaving enough freedom for the body to twist, turn, dodge, leap, and strike without restriction.

There was a chest plate, sleek and fitted, not bulky in the slightest. Arm guards, shoulder guards, waist guards, leg guards, and a pair of reinforced boots followed after, all forged with a beautiful silver-black sheen that caught the light softly.

It did, however, match his sword’s aesthetic, with thin crimson lines running across the surface in delicate patterns, faint enough not to be gaudy, but present enough to match the eerie elegance of Kurogoroshi.

It was truly beautiful, but compared to the sword, it was normal.

Special, yes.

Legendary, definitely.

But it did not carry that impossible ancient presence that made the air feel still just by existing. It did not hum with forgotten hunger. It did not feel like sothing that had crawled out of a buried era to reclaim its place in the world.

It was armour.

Extrely well-made armour, but armour nonetheless.

Elion activated Discerning Eye again.

[Item Type: Armour Set]

[Grade: Legendary Grade]

[Description: A complete set of lightweight, durable Armour]

[Enchantnts x5]

[1. Lightweight Fra — The armour is significantly lighter than ordinary armour of the sa defensive quality, allowing the wearer to maintain high mobility.]

[2. Mana Flow Assistance — Mana circulates smoothly through the armour, reducing strain when reinforcing the body or casting spells during movent.]

[3. Adaptive Guard — The armour subtly hardens around areas, even those where the physical parts of the armour do not reach to receive impact, improving defence against sudden blows.]

[4. Impact Dispersion — A portion of the incoming force is spread across the full set, reducing concentrated damage to the wearer.]

[5. Silent Movent — The armour suppresses unnecessary sound from movent, making it useful for agile fighters, scouts, and assassins.]

Elion stared at the status for a mont before nodding.

The enchantnts were not too flashy, but they were very good, especially for soone with his profile.

A full Legendary Grade armour set with five enchantnts would have made most warriors lose their minds, and honestly, if he had seen it before seeing Kurogoroshi, he might have reacted the sa way.

But now, after holding a Mythical Grade weapon in his hands, this almost felt... ordinary, which was insane. He knew it was insane, but there was nothing he could do about it.

"This is excellent," Elion said honestly, running his fingers across the smooth chest plate. "Light, durable, and it doesn’t look like it will restrict my movent."

"Of course it won’t," Solron snorted. "Do I look like an amateur to you?"

"No," Elion replied calmly. "You look like a madman who sohow knows exactly what he’s doing."

Alexander choked slightly, while Cecil’s lips twitched. Madman, that was the nickna the nobles used to refer to Solron, and they both knew that he didn’t like it.
