Kyle t with Nakamura, and to his utmost surprise, everyone began to laugh the mont he walked in, and the room beca alit with multiple people popping balloons.
The noise alone was enough to set his body into a self-defense stance because the trauma of the earlier gunshot, which failed to take his life, reverberated in his mind.
Nakamura was in stitches, laughing his ass off because Kyle looked like he was ready to attack everyone.
"W-What is this?" Kyle was startled, but the huge n who had accompanied him responded.
"It is a celebration of your success!" One of them said, and Kyle instantly realised why they were filled with openings.
They weren’t fighters or killers; they were just genetically gifted. Kyle looked at Yuki, who looked so proud to have pulled it off and ran to Nakamura.
He could see her mouth move, and luckily, lip reading was one of the skills he had picked up, and she gushed about how tensed up he was.
Nakamura had a smile on his face all through as he laughed even harder upon hearing it, because this made everything worth it.
He couldn’t believe he had managed to catch Kyle off guard, but this showed that despite Kyle’s genius, his paranoia had the potential to get the best of him.
Kyle sighed in defeat as a bright smile creased his face, and he forgot for a second that this was a big achievent.
He was so engrossed in the grand sche of things that he forgot monts like these should be celebrated.
Kyle began to clap as he walked up to Nakamura, thinking the worst of him, but this didn’t an he didn’t appreciate the impact Nakamura had on him.
Kyle saw how happy he was and wondered if this man was truly capable of ordering a hit on him.
If the answer was yes, then Nakamura might just be the greatest actor he had seen because these monts felt sacred.
There were half-naked won with bottles, but that wasn’t all. Kyle noticed he wasn’t the only person of prominence here, as there were other high earners.
"You got , you got good!" Kyle congratulated him, and Yuki stood aside but couldn’t contain her smile.
"Especially you, Yuki. You were so convincing! You could easily beco an actress with skills like that," Kyle heaped praise on her and for a second, her pale skin turned red.
It was the highest form of complint getting this from soone who owned an acting agency.
"I’m glad to hear that. I hope it didn’t fail your expectations," Nakamura said.
"Hahahaha! I had no expectations to begin with," Kyle said, but Nakamura knew why he was so tense, but why did he go along with it if he thought his life was in danger?
If anything, getting into the car was the worst thing he could have done at that mont because he was sure they had no weapons on them.
He was curious, but Nakamura knew now wasn’t the ti to engage in such conversations.
Kyle was aware of his association with the Yakuza, even though he wasn’t directly involved in their activities, as he had stated.
He understood that Kyle would be cautious of him regardless, as this was one of those things that couldn’t be avoided.
However, this was a day to celebrate their partnership and what they had accomplished together.
Kyle looked over his shoulder and saw so of the finest won to grace the earth, models that could make any man fold, but he wasn’t any man.
Kyle could tell with this alone that Nakamura had exquisite taste because these weren’t models showing off skin for all to see.
They were dressed in elegant dresses that conveyed the classiness of this event.
There was no doubt that many wouldn’t go ho alone.
"You can call your friends to join us," Nakamura suggested, but this would have been a great idea if he had been told beforehand.
However, this was an opportunity because Kye realised he was closer to Jane and Cassandra than he was to Calista.
And Calista had gone with Lorenzo either way, but the good thing about all of this was that he could invite Jane and Cassandra.
This would be the first ti they experienced sothing like this, and the lack of a cara ensured maximum privacy.
There was not a single cara in sight, which ant whatever happened here stayed here.
It was an exclusive location as well, so no one outside of those specifically invited was aware of what was going on.
Nakamura was a smart man, and Kyle was beginning to understand how he managed to stay out of the spotlight.
He could learn a thing or two from him if anything at all, but Kyle knew once he set his Agency up to have the capacity to make their movies, then his deal with Nakamura would co to an end.
He didn’t know how Nakamura would take this, but this was none of his business, as Nakamura must have known this would eventually be the outco of this partnership.
All partnership eventually cos to an end when the benefits no longer serve the other.
Nakamura has been in this business for the longest ti, and Kyle knew if he was planning to outsmart him, it would take a lot more than studying thods online.
Kyle shot Jane a text and told her to get ready, but he didn’t tell her what she was getting ready for, so she would be herself.
However, he did tell her it was sowhere fancy and he was going to send soone to pick her up. He couldn’t leave the event, and he wondered if Cassandra would tag along because she would have to take care of her child.
But he had made sure the maids were already sent there, and there would be nothing to worry about because Kyle wanted her to have a life outside of her child.
Most won, when they have a child, give up on life and focus entirely on the child, but when the child becos an adult and moves out.
They have nothing to retreat to or occupy their ti, but Kyle gave her everything she needed to have a fulfilling life.
This isn’t to say raising a child wasn’t one, but that couldn’t be all there was to life.

Jane and Cassandra were watching movies together, and the baby was taking a nap, so this was a rare window for them to relax.
Jane helped her watch over the child, but she had applied for a job around the city and hoped to receive positive news in the next week or so.
"This movie is so sad!" Jane said, sobbing like a child, but Cassandra tried her best not to cry because she was ant to be an adult among the two.
"I-It isn’t that sad..." Cassandra stuttered, her voice trembling, but at that mont, a tear trickled down her cheek.
"Fuck you, John! Why didn’t you just tell how you felt?" Cassandra sobbed, giving in to her emotions because she could no longer hold it together.
They were highly emotional, but that was when Jane’s phone buzzed, and luckily for the won, the movie just finished.
Jane’s eyes were bloodshot red, with her reddened nose making her look like a clown.
She read the ssage, but this didn’t lift her spirit because the effects of the movie still played on her.
"Cassy... Kyle is asking if we would be available to go out?" Jane asked, but Cassandra was surprised she was asking her.
She understood this wasn’t a monogamous relationship, but she expected Jane to push back against it.
However, Jane liked Cassandra; she was mature and provided that stability she never truly had with other won because she was always the responsible one.
It was refreshing seeing soone who was on the sa wavelength in that regard.
"U-Um... Like, he wants to take both of us out?" Cassandra had to clarify because it was nice to be included.
She was satisfied with her role and the security this relationship brought her, even if it ant being excluded.
"Yes, and I’m not going if you aren’t," Jane pouted, and this showed how much Cassandra had grown on her in just a few days.
Cassandra smiled because this ant a lot, and she had no reason not to go.
She knew they both needed this to unwind after that movie, and Cassandra nodded her head.
Jane was excited the mont she gave her the approval and dragged her into the room to get changed.
Cassandra never had a sister; she was the only child of her parents, so this was sothing she never thought would happen in this lifeti.
She was in her thirties already, but all of this was possible because of Kyle and for that, she would be grateful eternally.
However, now was the ti to get dressed so they could go out with their man.
