Kyle was astonished because he was standing in front of soone he had no business getting involved with, as the person who stepped out of the car was none other than Cleopatra.

There was no logical reason for her to be here whatsoever, but here she was, in the flesh.

The first thought that ca to his mind was Ella’s safety, because what if Cleopatra planned to hurt her? He wouldn’t put it past her to do sothing that extre.

"What are you doing here?" Kyle asked, clearly feeling threatened, but Cleopatra didn’t give him a verbal response.

She looked right in the direction where Kyle’s attention was a few minutes ago and just smirked.

"I’m sure you’re aware your life belongs to out here," Cleopatra said, but Kyle knew he had to be careful.

The situation had changed completely, but what was more pressing was the fact that Cleopatra might have been the one sending him ssages.

Why would she have any reason to do sothing like that in the first place?

Kyle noticed she had looked at the spot where the picture of him was taken and instantly knew she had soone positioned there.

"A sniper?" Kyle thought to himself—a thought that would have been ridiculous if it were anyone else, but this was Cleopatra.

Kyle didn’t know how to react, but his external facial expression didn’t show any hint of fear.

"Now, co over here," Cleopatra gestured to him, and Kyle knew firsthand she loved belittling people, so massaging her ego was the only way out of her.

Kyle knew right away that she had no plans of taking his life; that would be a ridiculous thing to do, because there was no way soone of his status would disappear without sending ripples into the world.

At the end of the day, this was his livelihood, and protecting Cleopatra must have high gains, but all of that would go out the window should he put his hands on him.

It wasn’t negative because the fandom was curious as to who Calista was romantically involved with, as there wasn’t anything else to go off of.

Calista needed to find a way to twist this to her advantage, and even if the rumours with Lorenzo were confird, there weren’t any negatives.

She never thought about how Lorenzo’s partner must feel—not even once—but this showed how selfish she was overall, or this thought would have at least crossed her mind.

She was anxious but saw nothing from Kyle. The woman whom she wanted to use as an outlet for her anger was nowhere to be seen.
