"You must be Nakamura. Kurayami is my na," the man spoke in perfect English, but Nakamura could instantly tell this man was dangerous.
However, he had to maintain his composure, because if he was under his father, then he must be tad.
Nakamura’s father was ruthless, and one thing kept everyone in line—that was fear.
"Welco, Kurayami," Nakamura greeted him. But this was the assignnt his father gave him—to act as a chauffeur to this younger man.
But this was the man who would ultimately shape who he would beco in the future.

Marcello was done with the eting and t up with his father. He was glad to be done with it, but he had conducted this eting without his father’s knowledge.
He understood his father might not like his actions, but it was already out of character for him to get this involved.
"Father, I have t with Giovanni," Marcello told his father outright. There was no hint of fear in his voice.
"You did what?" The Don was furious at the fact he had done so behind his back.
There were so many things Giovanni could have done to him, and that would make the Don look even weaker.
"Spare your rage, father..." Marcello instantly dismissed him, because this wasn’t a man in his pri anymore.
He was a man who couldn’t even keep the family together, and he tried to regain the little control he still had over his son.
The Don realized it wasn’t his son he was talking to anymore—this was the man who saw a different future for the family.
He listened to everything Marcello had discussed with Giovanni, partly surprised that Giovanni had agreed to his terms.
But this was all too easy—it felt like a setup. But Marcello had demanded one thing of his father.
"Father, from this day onward, you will step down as the Don," Marcello demanded, and this shocked his father, as Marcello had made it clear he only cared about his daughter.
"... And who will take the helm?" The Don was surprisingly calm.
"I will, and Giovanni has agreed to accept as the new Don," Marcello inford his father.
Giovanni was a man who believed in strength. He might be the one responsible for the uprising, but he wasn’t a man to give his word lightly.
The Don’s incompetence was what forced Marcello’s hand—he had to keep the family together to keep his daughter safe.
However, there was one person who couldn’t let this happen.
