Wade paused for a mont, then took a blank "Book of Friends" out of his pocket and handed it to Claire. He asked, "Do you know how to use it?"

Claire swallowed nervously and carefully accepted it. "I think... I do? I've seen others use one before."

Wade nodded. "Write your na on it, and you'll be able to contact . I have other work to do over the next few days, so I'll probably get in touch with you in about a week."

"Alright, I understand…"

Claire thought for a mont, then added, "I'll also get in touch with the other werewolves."

"I'll prepare the contract as well... What's your full na?" Wade asked.

"Griffin. My na is Claire Griffin," Claire replied with a smile.

After returning from Diagon Alley, Sirius Black's house now featured a new Streaming Mirror, and Harry spent every day eagerly watching programs on it.

Soon, Wade installed two more mirrors—one at his own ho and another at Moody's.

"So this is the magical version of a television?" Fred said in surprise, peeking behind the mirror. "It really doesn't have any wires?"

"Really?" Fiona circled the mirror in fascination before turning to Wade and asking, "What powers it?"

Fred chuckled and glanced at her. "Obviously magic, my dear."

"Oh, right!" Fiona clapped her hands and then exclaid, "Wade, did you really invent this? How on earth did you manage it?"

"Hmm…" Wade thought for a mont before explaining, "Simply put, it involves using spells to link different mirrors, so they display the sa image at the sa ti…"

Fiona nodded, only partially understanding. "Well, in any case... magic is truly amazing."

"Is this a Quidditch match?"

Fred had quickly imrsed himself in the television program.

They had already learned the rules of Quidditch, but this was their first ti watching a match.

"They're flying so high?" Fiona was alard by the height at which the players soared and said worriedly, "What if they fall…"

Before she could finish her sentence, two players on the screen collided violently and plumted to the ground like kites with broken strings.

The couple gasped in unison, Fiona clutching her husband's arm tightly. They instinctively leaned closer together, and their fingers interlocked.

Just before hitting the ground, the two falling players stopped abruptly in mid-air, then were quickly carried off with bloodied faces.

Wade reassured them:

"The audience and players in Quidditch matches are all wizards. If an accident happens, it's easy to control the situation. Professional gas even have dedicated d wizards and rescue teams, so fatal accidents are very rare."

Fiona's eyes widened. "Very rare? So it's happened before? And not just once?"

Wade: "Uh…"

"Even if they don't hit the ground, the speed at which they collide looks enough to break necks or rupture internal organs," Fred said, giving Wade a relieved glance. "Good thing you never joined these matches."

Wade: …

In truth, back in school, he'd flown on his broom every day to get up and down the towers.

Of course, casual flying didn't require much speed and was nowhere near as intense as professional matches. However, when transford into a peregrine falcon, his flight speed was two or three tis that of a broomstick.

Wade thought about it for a mont, skipped over himself, and started talking about Harry instead.

"... He joined the Gryffindor team in his first year. Once, he fell from fifty feet high and only ended up with a broken arm…"

Fiona gasped, "Good heavens! Wasn't he terrified? If it were , I'd never dare touch a broom again!"

"For Harry, that's just child's play compared to the rest of his experiences," Wade said. "In June, he even participated in the mission to eliminate a thousand-year-old Basilisk…"

Fred: "A what?!"

Wade: "… A Basilisk."

As he spoke, the Quidditch match ended, and a massive Basilisk suddenly appeared on the mirror's surface. Its bloody, cloudy eyes and long, venom-dripping fangs lood nacingly.

At this point, the Aslan Magical Workshop didn't have many programs available, so the most exciting clips played repeatedly. The audience, however, still found them riveting.

Unlike television, the Streaming Mirror's display looked like a real mirror, giving an ultra-realistic effect. The Basilisk seed to be right in front of them, ready to burst out of the mirror at any mont!

The Greys were startled again. Fred instinctively stepped in front of Fiona to shield her.

Then they saw a much smaller Harry rush into battle with the Basilisk. Compared to the Basilisk, he looked utterly tiny.

"That's a Basilisk?" Fiona exclaid. "Is your school's headmaster insane?"

"No… It was conducted under safe conditions…" Wade's voice trailed off, sounding a bit unconvincing. "And in the end, there were no fatalities…"

He suddenly realized that his perspective had subtly shifted.

Wade had grown accustod to the mishaps, big and small, of the magical world. To him, as long as no one died or suffered irreversible damage, most problems could be solved with a single bottle of potion.

However, for Wade's parents, who lived in the non-magical world, the sight of the Basilisk swatting people away like rag dolls was utterly horrifying. Considering that the "warriors" charging at it were rely teenagers, it bordered on cruelty.

If they could witness a live broadcast of a Potions class, the constant sharp explosions throughout the lesson would surely lead to hundreds of ergency calls.

Fiona instantly grew alert. "Wade, you didn't participate in that, did you?"

"No," Wade replied imdiately. "See? I'm not in the footage at all."

"Thank goodness!! You must stay safe and not get involved in these dangerous activities!"

Fiona was practically in tears as she urged him.

Wade nodded, but he noticed Fred staring at him suspiciously.

Knowing his son well, Fred could tell if Wade truly hadn't participated. He would've dismissed the event as "stupid" or "pointless," rather than challenging them to check the footage.

Wade blinked and silently mouthed, "I was filming."

Only then did Fred believe him.

Even though standing nearby carried its own risks, it was far better than being crushed by a Basilisk's tail.

That night, there was no moonlight.

The sea appeared pitch black, blending almost seamlessly with the barren, desolate island it surrounded.

Waves crashed against the towering, dark fortress on the island. Aside from the ceaseless movent of the waves, nothing else stirred in this lifeless place.

The windows of the tower were devoid of light, clearly abandoned long ago. Yet, in the narrow room at the very top, a single prisoner remained.

Massive stone doors sealed the chamber, and the narrow cracks in the black stones served as its only windows. Inside, a frail old man lay on a hard wooden bed, covered only by a filthy, tattered blanket.

Suddenly, a loud clang echoed in the room.

A palm-sized mirror was shoved through one of the narrow cracks in the stone and fell to the ground.
