Wade was just about to take a sip of his coffee when the scream pierced the air. He imdiately stood up alertly and looked off into the distance.

Bill, on the other hand, remained unusually calm. He smiled and said, "Probably just so new antics from the Irish fans. You can't imagine how crazy those guys can get."

But Wade didn't relax. He saw the distant part of the camp growing brighter and brighter, and suddenly, flas leapt into the night sky, illuminating the darkness.

The next second, a thunderous explosion roared from that direction, followed by a sudden crescendo of screams—dense, panicked, and sharp. A flood of chaotic sounds tore through the night like blades.

"Sothing's wrong!" Bill's expression instantly turned sharp. He dropped his beer, grabbed his wand, and stood up. He quickly said, "I'll go check it out—you wake the others!"

With a pop, Bill vanished on the spot.

Just then, Theo and Ryan rushed out from the tent, still not fully awake, and asked in a panic, "What's going on? Sothing exploded?"

"There's trouble in the camp," Wade said grimly as he turned toward them. "Wake everyone up—we need to move to a safe place."

They didn't ask questions and imdiately ran back into the tent. Monts later, the sleepy group stumbled out in a hurry. Hermione, ever-prepared, even rembered to grab her backpack.

By now, the camp was in complete chaos. People were running everywhere in a panic—parents were shouting, children were crying, and a chorus of sounds echoed under the night sky.

Countless black silhouettes darted about in every direction. Wade even saw soone being flung into the air, struggling, and then suddenly dropped down hard!

A long, anguished scream tore through the sky. Padma instinctively ducked behind Michael, while Hermione nervously muttered, "What's going on? Oh—I'm so dumb—Lumos!"

A bright light flared from her wand, scattering the darkness around them.

Then, with another pop, Bill reappeared.

"What happened, Bill?" Charlie shouted.

"The mascots have gone mad," Bill said as he grabbed Ginny's arm. "We need to go—into the forest!"

"What? The mascots?" Harry was confused.

But in the very next mont, he had no more questions—

A Veela flew overhead. Her once perfectly beautiful face had transford into the head of a bird, complete with a sharp beak. Behind her shoulders spread a pair of scaly wings, and her legs had beco fierce talons.

She looked completely deranged—like a harpy. The crazed Veela hurled balls of fla toward the tents and then suddenly dove downward, snatching a fleeing wizard with her claws and dragging him straight into the air.

"No—!"

The man flailed helplessly, letting out a desperate scream.

The Veela soared dozens of feet into the sky before abruptly releasing her grip. The man plumted with a bloodcurdling cry. Several wizards below tried to cast spells to catch him, but none had a clear shot in the chaos.

Just as it seed he was about to smash into the ground and be reduced to pulp, a figure suddenly swooped in from the side and stretched out his hands to catch the poor wizard mid-air.

But the montary relief quickly turned back to horror.

"Oh no—!"

Padma covered her eyes in fright.

The figure was an Irish team mascot—a leprechaun. But it had grotesquely swollen to the size of a horse, with bulging muscles and a savage, twisted face.

It grabbed the wizard and let out a shrill, manic cackle, then began flying higher into the sky again with twisted and malevolent expression.

Looking closely, they saw that the leprechaun's tiny vest was soaked in blood. As it flew over their heads carrying the wizard, Wade and the others saw the man's pale, lifeless face—he looked as if he was on the verge of death.

"rlin… the mascots… they've really gone mad," Ron murmured.

"Don't just stand there—move!" Charlie shouted, trying to pull everyone into a run—only to be stopped by Wade.

"No—we won't make it in ti!"

Wade realized that the nearby forest had been almost completely destroyed. Trying to reach it would take far longer than anyone expected.

And besides, the forest might not even be safe tonight.

He pulled a pencil case from his pocket, tossed it to the ground, and it instantly transford into a wardrobe. Patting Harry on the back, he said, "Get in—quickly!"

Michael was the first to act, he grabbed Padma's hand and pulled her in. Seeing the two of them squeeze into the wardrobe—which was barely human-height and only half a ter wide—Ron's eyes widened in disbelief.

Bill, however, lit up with understanding. He quickly pushed Ginny inside and urged the others to follow. Charlie stood guard, eyes fixed on the sky, wary of another sneak attack from the rampaging mascots.

No one wasted ti. One by one, they rushed into the wardrobe. Even Kreacher packed up the Black family's tent, lugged the bag like a giant sack, and grumbled his way inside.

In the end, the only ones left outside were Bill, Charlie, Percy—and Wade, the sole underage wizard still standing there. Charlie and Percy had already dashed off with their wands drawn, heading into the chaos to deal with the airborne mascots.

"You should hide in there too," Bill told Wade. "I'll make sure to hide it sowhere safe."

"No—I can help."

As Wade spoke, a red light and a cloak flew out of the wardrobe's interior, landing beside him. He tapped the wardrobe with his wand, and it instantly reverted into the pencil case.

The cloak dutifully picked up the pencil case and handed it back to its master.

Beside him, a tiny crimson-gold bird was preening its feathers. Though it was barely the size of a fist, Bill could sense an incredibly dangerous aura radiating from it.

Bill looked at Wade, then at the cloak and firebird beside him, and gave a small nod. "Be careful. Take care of yourself."

Then, without hesitation, he ran to help a witch under attack by a Veela.

"Mikael," Wade said softly to the firebird, "don't reveal your Fiendfyre form. Just make sure they can't keep flying."

The bird let out a cry and shot into the sky, blazing like a streak of red lightning across the night.

Mikael zipped past a Veela, and her wings imdiately tore apart and burst into flas at the roots.

She let out a bloodcurdling shriek, and spiraled downward from the sky—only to be hit by a dozen spells before she even touched the ground.

Then Mikael slamd head-on into one of the enlarged leprechauns, engulfing it in fire. Within seconds, the bloated creature shrank back to its original size.

The flas vanished. The leprechaun's eyes rolled back as it plumted from the sky—only to be caught and bound midair by a conjured rope.

Wade observed for a while. Despite most ordinary wizards having pretty poor spellcasting skills, as long as they didn't drop their wands in panic, they could still handle the mascots Mikael brought down from the sky.

He relaxed slightly, threw on the cloak, and pulled out a vial of Polyjuice Potion. Dropping a single black hair into it, he stirred twice and drank it down in one gulp.

Monts later, a second Harry Potter appeared in the middle of the camp.
