"How's this special training going to work?" Harry stepped forward eagerly, gripping his wand. "Are there any rules?"

"The rule is—no rules! Just use every ans you've got to defeat !"

Sirius stepped back to the center of the clearing, and his wand was hanging loosely at his side. He grinned at Harry and said: "Ready, Harry?"

"Ready—"

"Stupefy!"

Before Harry could finish speaking, a spell shot toward him from the opposite side. He dodged quickly and shouted, "I knew you'd do that!"

He slashed his wand through the air. "Petrificus Totalus!"

Sirius never stopped moving. Harry's spell didn't even co close to hitting him, instead it struck a pine tree a short distance away instead.

"Expelliarmus!"

Harry rolled aside to dodge the Disarming Charm, but before he could regain his footing, Sirius's next spell was already on him—and he hadn't even spoken an incantation.

When Harry turned back, the flash of the spell was already right in front of his eyes.

"Protego!"

Harry hastily cast a Shield Charm, but it didn't fully block the attack. His legs instantly went as limp as noodles, and he collapsed to his knees.

"Silent Jelly-Legs Jinx!"

Sirius tapped his wand against his palm, showing not the slightest guilt at using an advanced curse on his godson. He said smugly, "Upper-year students all know how to cast nonverbally, Harry. You can't always count on your opponent shouting out a warning."

"I get it…" Harry said through gritted teeth. "But can I really master nonverbal spells in a month?"

He could already cast a few spells without speaking, but their power was reduced by at least half, and he was used to calling out incantations aloud.

"Foolish boy—can't you just whisper them?" Sirius said as he pointed his wand and removed the curse on Harry's legs.

Harry: "…"

What could he say? He knew about that trick, but once he got caught up in the fight, he would just say the spell out loud.

"Go take a break. Your legs will need at least ten minutes to fully recover."

Lupin helped Harry up from the ground and guided him to sit off to the side.

"Alright, Wade," Sirius said, still eager for more. "Let's see what you can do!"

Wade walked to the center of the clearing without a word. Before he'd even stopped moving, both of them raised their wands almost simultaneously.

Sparks of magic clashed in midair, and just as Sirius arched an eyebrow in surprise, he noticed Wade make a tiny, almost imperceptible flick of his wand.

"What—"

Sirius dove to the side in haste, the spell streaking past his shoulder and blasting a small crater into the ground behind him.

That dodge put him on the defensive, and Wade pressed his advantage relentlessly—spell after spell, sotis with such speed that the beams of light nearly ford an unbroken line.

The seamless, fluid barrage forced Sirius to dodge repeatedly, and each of his counterattacks was easily neutralized.

Harry stared wide-eyed. This was the first ti he'd seen Wade fighting at full power.

The boy gritted his teeth and remained silent. The muscles at the corners of his mouth were taut, a fine sheen of sweat forming on his forehead. His wand moved as fast as lightning—precise, rapid—and his feet shifted constantly to avoid Sirius's spells.

Under Wade's unyielding offense, Sirius had no chance to call out an incantation. Both of them were casting silently now, and their spells crashed into shimring shields in midair, bursting apart like showers of fireworks.

Harry watched and felt sweat trickling down his forehead. No matter whether he imagined himself in Sirius's position or in Wade's, he felt he would be defeated in no ti.

Lupin had been watching the two combatants closely, but sothing flickered in the corner of his eye.

He turned his head and saw Harry unconsciously swaying slightly, his arm making small movents as if he were ntally simulating attacks or dodges, his body instinctively mirroring the thoughts in his mind.

Lupin smiled in satisfaction and did not interrupt him, and then narrowed his eyes back toward the duel.

The clearing was ablaze with spellfire as the two fighters constantly shifted positions. With his wealth of experience and quick reflexes, Sirius gradually clawed back from his disadvantage.

Suddenly, Wade noticed Sirius had unknowingly stepped into the spot where Wade had been earlier. A smirk tugged at his lips as he unleashed a long-prepared spell.

Sirius reflexively cast a Shield Charm—only to realize the spell wasn't aid at him at all, but at the ground nearby. His heart clenched.

He didn't believe for a second that Wade could make such a rookie mistake as missing his target. Instinct told him sothing was wrong, and he leapt to the side—

—but too late!

A vine shot up from the ground like a snake springing from a trap, whipping around his ankle and yanking him off his feet.

His return spell went wide by several ters, and the very next instant his wand was knocked from his grasp by a Disarming Charm.

"Not bad—absolutely brilliant, Wade."

Sirius picked his wand up from the ground and tried to get up, but found the vine was still trying to wrap around him.

With a flick of his wand, flas burst forth, forcing the persistent Devil's Snare to retreat.

Flexing his slightly sore wrist, Sirius asked, "When did you plant that Devil's Snare? I didn't notice it at all."

"I used a trick Professor Sprout taught —grew it on the spot," Wade said with a smile. "Want to keep going?"

"Hey, don't get cocky, kid," Sirius replied in an exaggerated tone. "Next round, you might not even get the chance to strike."

Then he quickly added, "But now it's Remus's turn… Harry, how's your leg?"

"Completely fine."

Harry stood, bounced in place twice, and stepped forward with his wand.

The closer he got, the more serious his expression beca, and his eyes sharpened—like a warrior preparing to step onto the battlefield.

Clearly, the duel between Wade and Sirius had stirred Harry's unwillingness to lose and his competitive streak. He had summoned all his focus, like an arrow drawn tight on the string.

Lupin also stepped forward, wand in hand. As he passed Sirius, the latter caught his arm.

In a low voice, Sirius said, "That kid nearly did in, Remus. Don't underestimate Harry either—treat it like a real fight."

"After what I just saw, you think I could look down on these kids?" Lupin chuckled. "But Sirius… since when did you start admitting you're getting old?"

Sirius pouted and flopped straight down on the ground. Only when his back touched the ground did he realize his clothes were soaked with sweat, and his arms were faintly sore.

Nearby, Wade sat cross-legged on the grass, rubbing his wrist and staring intently at the two about to face off.

Even though Harry was his godson, at that mont Sirius could already picture Wade lifting the championship trophy.

This kid… being a genius is one thing, but he is also hardworking. Hardworking could be understood—but not showing the slightest arrogance or complacency? That is remarkable.

Even though Harry's current skill level was far below Wade's, from Wade's focused gaze, Sirius realized—

Wade was treating Harry as an evenly matched opponent. He was observing his weaknesses, studying his habits, acknowledging his growth—without the slightest trace of condescension.
