Wade had already considered this question and calmly asked, "Do you know Dark Magic?"

"...I know so," Lupin hesitated but didn't hide the truth.

Wade nodded and said:

"I read in a book that during the Wizarding War, the Ministry of Magic authorized Aurors to use Unforgivable Curses against Death Eaters.

Dark magic intended to cause harm can also be used to protect others, which shows that the nature of magic is secondary—the key is the person using it."

"Dark magic is considered evil because it silently erodes the user's mind," Lupin quickly explained, worried that he might mislead the young boy.

"Moreover, dark magic is extrely dangerous and unpredictable. If it gets out of control, it can cause serious harm to others and to the caster. That's why Hogwarts forbids students from learning or using dark magic."

"I understand," Wade replied. "If you accept the job, you'll be my teacher. If you believe I shouldn't learn dark magic, then you don't need to teach it."

Lupin visibly relaxed and smiled slightly.

Given Wade's early success, Lupin had expected arrogance. But to his surprise, the young boy was remarkably rational and open to others' opinions.

This is indeed a good start.

At that mont, Professor Murray entered the bar. He glanced around the room, not specifically looking at Wade and Lupin, but instead took a seat at a nearby table and ordered a glass of ad.

"If I take this job, what should I do now?" Lupin asked. "Since you're at school most of the ti, how will we manage magic lessons?"

"We can discuss that later," Wade said, taking a roll of parchnt from his pocket and placing it on the table. "First, take a look at this contract. If you're okay with the terms, sign your na, and that will formalize the agreent."

Lupin's expression grew serious as he unrolled the parchnt and began reading it line by line.

The contract was straightforward.

The tasks were consistent with what they had just discussed, with additional clauses outlining the responsibilities of the agent (Lupin): to protect Wade's interests, keep his secrets, and not harm him.

Lupin would also help procure alchemical materials and magical items, and as a tutor, his duties included teaching, creating a suitable learning plan, and ensuring Wade's safety during magical studies.

Lupin silently nodded to himself—it is all perfectly reasonable.

Lupin paused when he reached the part about the agent's fee, montarily doubting if there had been a mistake.

"A base salary of 30 Galleons per week?" he said in surprise. "That's three tis what was in the job ad."

"Yes," Wade nodded. "10 Galleons per week as an agent and 20 Galleons as a tutor. That's the base salary. Additionally, you can earn a commission from any deals you handle."

Lupin was even more astonished and continued unrolling the parchnt.

Sure enough, the contract detailed these terms clearly. At the end, it also stated that if Lupin failed to fulfill his duties, causing the client any significant losses, Wade would have the right to terminate the contract unilaterally.

Wade knew that given Lupin's situation, even a much lower salary would have been accepted.

After all, very few people were willing to hire a dangerous werewolf. Lupin's strong moral compass also wouldn't allow him to gain inco through unscrupulous ans.

However, a low wage combined with a contract and morality could ensure Lupin's diligence but not his full dedication.

The role Wade needed Lupin to fill wasn't that of an overworked employee—it was that of a teacher willing to impart all his knowledge, a companion ready to face dangers alongside him, and a trustworthy partner who could safeguard his interests.

Without a strong sense of responsibility and commitnt, none of that would be possible.

If loyalty could be bought with Galleons, Wade would have emptied his vault without hesitation. But the truth was, offering too high a salary might make Lupin suspicious of ulterior motives.

Lupin stared at the contract for a long ti, hesitating. "This... this is too much," he said.

He had originally hoped to find a job that paid 10 Galleons a week, just enough to get by. The unexpectedly high salary now made him feel uneasy.

"I expect you to deliver results accordingly," Wade added after a mont's thought. "If you don't, I'll fire you next month!"

What might have sounded like a threat, but was said with a hint of childishness, actually put Lupin at ease. He smiled gently and said, "Looks like I'll have to give 200% effort to keep my little boss satisfied."

—Or perhaps, once my werewolf identity is revealed, I would be fired imdiately anyway.

With that thought in mind, Lupin bowed his head and seriously signed his na on the contract.

Wade also signed, and with that, the contract was finalized.

Wade then took out the new version of his Book of Friends and a Soft Light Badge from his bag, and said:

"Now, let tell you about my new product. Mr. Marchionne, the owner of Aslan's Magic Workshop, will be here at the Three Broomsticks in about half an hour. I expect you to be prepared before then."

Lupin stared blankly at the items in front of him. "The agent's work... starts now?"

"Of course," Wade raised his eyebrows and tapped the Book of Friends with his fingers. "I always make the most of every minute."

...

Not long after, Marchionne arrived.

As soon as he stepped through the door, he spotted Professor Murray and Wade sitting at two tables.

With just a glance, he imdiately grasped the situation. Pretending not to notice Professor Murray, he enthusiastically greeted Wade, who was sitting in the corner.

After being inford that Lupin was Wade's agent, Marchionne completely ignored the shabby robes and weary appearance of the werewolf.

Without any hesitation, he smoothly transitioned into discussing business, praising the Soft Light Badge endlessly, even giving it more importance than the Book of Friends.

"You've finally understood the true essence of making money, Wade."

With Professor Murray sitting right behind them, Marchionne winked and whispered in a low voice, eagerly assuring him:

"Next ti you co up with sothing like this, make sure to find ! I promise to give you the best price—no one will offer more than I do. Those foolish folks can't even begin to comprehend the greatness of this product!"

The brown-haired wizard ca and left in a whirlwind, disappearing like a gust of wind. He didn't even take a sip of the butterbeer he had ordered.

"So... that's it?" Lupin still looked a bit dazed.

"Yes, you'll need to get used to it. As I said," Wade, in a very good mood, replied, "we make every minute count."

Lupin remained stunned for a mont before asking, "What should we do now?"

"There's no rush."

Wade handed Lupin the Book of Friends for contact and gave him a pouch of Galleons.

"This is your first week's salary. I think you should... um... take care of yourself first?"

...

anwhile, Professor Murray slowly sipped his honey ad, squinting as he observed his student.

The young man smiled as he spoke with the wizard across from him. It was rare to see him so full of spirit—confident, determined, composed, shining like the rising sun.

So exceptional.

Ti... it takes so people away, changes others... Decades, even centuries may pass, only to realize that, in the end... nothing has really changed.
