The air cleared of static near instantly as the vacuum of energy was rushing to be filled. The three adult wizards just gawked at in genuine shock at what they had seen. Not that I blad any of them since they did just watch an eleven year old absorb an entire thunderstorms worth of lightning like it was effortless. It wasn't by the way. I held dominion against electrical forces as the user of the goro goro no mi and could tank them without trouble. This storm was created by an entire flock of Thunderbirds however and was as a result a bit resistant to being controlled by an outside force.-

Actually absorbing the lightning wasn't troubleso at all as my body was literally made for it thanks to my fruit. The bulging that I showed when I took it in surprised though. It solved a final piece of the puzzle about Enel that I never understood. Despite being lazy and never actually training as far as I knew the guy was actually quite fit. He had a decently muscular body despite seemingly ever working for it which made no sense until now. -

As it turned out the fruit actually passively strengthened the user so long as they absorbed external sources of lightning. A bit like what I did using the electricity to stimulate my cells but passively and with a condition attached. It was obvious that this was an incredibly inefficient thod though as compared to the full body ache my thod created even taking in that much lightning barely created an itch that was gone monts later.-

"That should let get so sleep at least tonight. Now then, about that egg." I said with a friendly smile.

"I think we'd rather know what just happened instead my boy." Dumbledore said as the first to recover from the surprise and the other two nodded in agreent.

I shrugged "Not much to explain. I told you my body wanted to take in the static in the air, I simply let it all at once. It should take those birds at least till morning to gather up a storms worth of static by my reckoning." I said honestly.

"Thunderbirds use magic to create storms though." Newt said shaking his head.

I nodded "Indeed but theres a process to it. Ever wonder why no Thunderbird created storm cos with gale force winds to match it?" I asked and he paused before looking thoughtful.

"Now that you ntion it that's true. It always starts with clouds gathering and then lightning. The winds only beco apparent if the storm lasts a long ti. You seem to think this is intentional, why?" he asked curiously.

"It's not exactly common knowledge but after my accident I've beco aware that the air at all tis contains electrical currents. Lets call it static to save ti. Usually you can't even tell it's there, too thin and spread out. When the conditions are t naturally that static gets gathered and pressurized by forces in the clouds to create lightning. That's what those birds do. They forcefully gather moisture to create clouds and then static within them to create lightning. The natural forces are excluded and need so ti to catch up shall we say, hence the delay in wind." I said casually.

"That's ..... considerably less impressive than I expected." Flitwick said with a disappointed expression.

"Quite the opposite in my opinion!" Newt said with an excited expression as he had taken out a quill and parchnt from sowhere to record this knowledge.

"Yes, it's quite the novel discovery." Dumbledore agreed with a twinkle in his eyes "and you drained away all that gathered static correct young Alex?" he asked and I nodded.

"Without it theres no storm and it'll take so ti for the natural static in the area to regather in enough quantity to create another. Now then if that's enough about that I'd like to discus selling this egg." I said calmly.

"I believe that may have to wait. You have incoming visitors." Dumbledore said with playful chuckle as he pointed at the window behind .

I turned to look and felt my eyebrow twitch in exasperation as I saw the dozen or so Thunderbirds descending from the sky to the window slowly. Their features like that of an eagles almost but much much larger being well over three ters tall and possessing their signature six wings. Two large ones on their torso and two smaller ones on their tail area. Each of them possessed white feathers on their chests and golden or grey feathers on their backs. A curious adaptation since those types of colorations in nature were related to stealth, a concept foreign to Thunderbirds.-

We all watched as the flock lowered themselves to fly around Ravenclaw tower with the largest of them coming to a hover with it's head at equal level with the window I was near.

"Chirp?" the bird sounded out with a almost confused look in it's eyes as it stared at .

"Not what you were expecting I take it?" I asked with a sigh.

The bird slightly shook it's head before chirping again in a way that was almost insistent as it stared at Dumbledore. This stopped in my tracks as I realized what it was hinting at as mythology knowledge about Zeus ca back to . Specifically the animal he was associated with, an eagle.

I removed the spear from my bandaged and fully expanded it drawing the birds intense gaze.

"I thought so. I'm not related to that guy, just inherited this relic of his. A successor you could call ." I explained and the bird gained a glint of understanding in it's eyes.

"Tzeeer!" the bird scread at the remaining flock, no doubt conveying this information in this single cry.

I thought that was going to be the end of the matter but clearly it wasn't as one of the smaller birds flew over carefully with sothing in it's talons. I couldn't help but stare in sheer dumbfounded shock as a small bundle of tattered and slightly charred cloth was dropped in the window with a loud "Clank!" sound. The cloth spilled open to reveal a golden scepter with Lichtenburg grooves and the head of a thunderbird spreading it's six wings widely.
