It was Christmas morning, and Lucifer had gone out for his run like had been the whole week before Christmas.
He was running faster than usual, and his blood was running hot, keeping him warm as he ran the periter of the Grounds.
That morning, though, as he ran past the Beauxbatons Carriage, the door had opened as he approached, and out stepped Eve.
He slowed to a walk and went up to her, "Morning," he said, breathing heavily.
"Good morning, Luce, and Happy
Christmas?" Eve asked, smiling at him as her hair, which was not up in a bun or ponytail, was splayed across her shoulders and down her back.
It proved to be very long.
“rry Christmas I usually say ... but they say Happy Christmas here," Lucifer smiled back.
"Well, regardless, I hope your Christmas is wonderful, and I hope you have a wonderful ti later at the Yule Ball," Eve smiled and stepped out into the cold but not stepping off the Carriages steps and kissed him at just corner of his lips, without touching.
“Just an innocent kiss.”
“.....I hope you have a wonderful ti as well,” Lucifer gave her a kiss of his own, but on her cheek instead, "Well, I've got a run to finish, see you at Breakfast!"
He then started his run back up, feeling better after talking with Eve.
He made it back to Hogwarts and the Gryffindor Common Room when he was done running and showered just as everyone else in his dorm woke up, and that was only because of Dobby, "Happy Christmas, Mr. Lucifer Morningstar sir!"
"rry Christmas to you as well, Dobby," he said and walked over to his bed, where there was only one present, and it was from Hermione.
He wasn't sure why Molly wouldn't
have sent him a Present, but he didn't dwell on that for too long.
Hermione's present was a large wrapped box and when he opened it, he found it was actually holding a few things inside.
A new Quill set, which he was in need of, so sweets from Honeydukes, and most surprising of all, Magia ad sanitatem Magister Maleficos, the Third and Final book for Healing Magic that Tos and Scrolls had.
'Did she notice I was reading first two books of Healing magic sohow?'
“Hermione...” He asked quietly.
There was a letter in between the cover and first page. It read:
Dear Lucifer,
Happy Christmas! I hope you don't mind going ahead and buying you the last book sinceI saw you reading the Interdiate Spell book a month ago.
You said I could use my Galleons for Christmas and other holidays, rember?
It wasn't cheap, I won't lie, but you're worth it, because you're the best boyfriend in the whole world.
I'll see you later in the Common Room, hope you enjoy the Quill Set and Honeydukes Sweetstoo.

He smiled at the letter, "I don't deserve you as my girlfriend..." Lucifer had gone to Hogsade earlier in the week and bought her a Christmas present.
Her own was also a new Quill Set, 'Great Mindsthink alike, and a Diary/Journal that was Chard to never run out of pages, and used for making contact with each other.
It could even pass the Fidelius Charm after Lucifer was done enchanting it.
Hoped she liked it.
He put away the Book she got him, as he wasn't done with the Interdiate one yet, the sweets, and the Quill set, safely away in his trunk.
Lucifer walked down into the Common Room before his dorm mates, and saw Hermione there, reading a book, like she almost always did.
He smiled when he saw the Bracelet on her left wrist, "rry Christmas, Hermione," he said, walking over to her and sitting down beside her on the couch.
Hermione crawled on his lap, kissing the living daylights out of him.
After so ti Hermione broke the kiss, but not before kissing his nose.
“Happy Christmas, Lucifer!” Hermione smiled up at him, “did you like my presents?"
"Oh Absolutely I can't believe you bought the final Healing Magic book for . You're insane, you know that?" Lucifer asked with a smirk.
"I know, but you are as well for already giving this bracelet, which I absolutely adore!" Hermione said and looked for a mont.
“And thank you so much for the Journal. I've already got three pages filled up!”
"Why am I not surprised?" Lucifer laughed.
He knew she could easily find a better person than him, he didn't know why a good person like her would ever....
A Monster
Maybe one day, Hermione would realise that she had made the biggest mistake in her life and leave him.
Lucifer was already prepared for the Heartbreak, if it ever happened.
It was also the ti for Hermione to open the box that Lucifer gave her, Hermione peeked into the box to see a pair of earrings, encrusted with small sapphires.
"I got the sapphire ones because it's Sep-"
"My birthstone..." Hermione had tears brimming at her eyes.
"I can have them changed if yo-"
"No, no... I love them... I love you, so much!" Hermione brought her face to Lucifer's, hooking her arms around him in a loving embrace.
“I thought maybe you could use them for the Ball?"
"Oh, right that's tonight, isn't it?"
"Hermione Granger, did you forget?"
"No... I.. I forgot, yeah. Just wait five minutes for , I need to go sort my dress out."
"Okay, can I see it?"
"No, you'll have to wait!" She called back from the stairs.
After nearly ten minutes, Hermione ca back down into the common room, after safely putting her presents.
"Shall we go to breakfast, now?" Harry asked them.
"Sure thing," Lucifer said, while Hermione grabbed his hand, interlocking their fingers and went towards the Great Hall.
On the way, Harry told them about the letter he received from Sirius, "Well, he is right, you still have two tasks to go through. If you haven't yet, after today I really think you should start looking into the Egg."
"I gave it a bit of thought before I fell asleep... but I'm still drawing a blank..." Harry said quietly.
“You'll figure it out, or one of us will help you to figure it out," Lucifer said, "although, I don't know how much help Weasely will be," he said, busting Ron's chops.
"Oi! I'm going to help this ti, swear it," Ron said as his ears turned a light red.
After Breakfast, they spent most of their morning before Lunch enjoying their gifts.
In Hermione's case, she was writing more in her Journal but in Lucifer's case, he was continuing the interdiate Healing magic book.
He was roughly a Quarter of the way through it now, at least with reading it, there was still the Practical Application of each spell.
For Lunch, there must've been at least a hundred Turkey's, and even more desserts.
Plenty for everyone to enjoy, and enjoy they definitely did.
After Lunch, everyone went onto the Grounds where the snow looked to be untouched, except for the tracks left by Beauxbatons and Durmstrang.
Unless anyone paid close enough
attention, they'd see a set of footprints leading away from the school and then running the periter of the Grounds, but no one did.
While outside they all participated in a Snowball fight where Magic was said to not be used, to which Lucifer laughed and agreed to, knowing that was in place because of him.
Hermione opted to sit on the sidelines at first and just watch.
