Lucifer ca back down a little later, in warm lounge clothing because of how cold it was, even with a fire going in the Common Room.
But, Hermione wasn't there, instead a parchnt is being laid on her place, Lucifer also read that, sighed realising she was caught because of her Late-night adventures.
He sat down across from her seat and got his own Potions stuff out to complete it.

Elsewhere, Hermione had arrived at the Transfiguration classroom to find Professor McGonagall waiting for her.
"Co in, Miss Granger. Today you shall be helping transfigure everything you see here, back to their original state using the spell, Reparifarge.”
"D-Don't you think that's a bit easy?" Hermione asked with scrunched up eyebrows.
"Well, yes, I do. But I didn't want to overwork my prized student."
"I'm your prized student?!" Hermione cheered giddily at hearing that.
“You and one other...”
“Let guess, Lucifer?”
“Yes, but Mr. Morningstar needs to control his anger.....”
“Oh, well it's because Malfoy insulted , Lucifer did th-”
“I know, how much you would like to defend that boy”
"What do you an, Professor?"
"Oh, dear. How shall I put this... I've seen you be in lo- no enraptured...being smitten, obsessed, possessive even with young Mr. Morningstar from the very mont you set foot in this castle."
Hermione blushed. Was she really like that? She hadn't really thought about it.
“Is it really that obvious?” She asked, while trying not to faint.
“To all, but he.”
“How do I get him to notice , even more?"
"Before I start, I must ask. Have your Mother given you... the talk, as of yet?"
“....No, I don't think so... unless you an the talk we had about nstrual Cycle over the sumr, then yes.” Hermione now can't reveal her spending ti reading books marked for adult, can she?
Who knows if they are even true or not? Hermione lost her innocence because of Lockhart, she doesn't fully trust her books any more, without any real verification.
So, it would be much better if an experienced adult, talked it out with her, right? Hermione would gain more knowledge, in that area by doing that....
"Oh dear... your Mother should really be the one to tell you this, but..."
The duo soon began returning the objects to their original state, while Hermione listened intently to Professor McGonagall explain what teenagers were fond of doing.
Hermione had lost count of how many questions she asked, words she stuttered over, and perverse images of Lucifer that had crossed her mind as McGonagall kept talking.

When Hermione entered through the portrait, she saw Harry whispering to Lucifer, “Then I heard sothing... sothing in the walls. Like a whisper, but it was cold... unnerving even.”
"Wh-what did it s-say?" Hermione stuttered, while looking below Lucifer's chest and thinking back to the conversation she had earlier.
“Hermione....It said, Co, co to , let rip you, let tear you, let kill you, and I see you..." Harry repeated.
"Does that an it was down there with you, Harry?" Ron asked nervously, and Hermione didn't know when he ca down.
“Whatever it was, I think it might have co through with its promise if I hadn't gotten out of there!” Hermione squeaked in fright, running towards Lucifer, wrapped her arms around his waist, still not looking him directly in the eyes.
"What's up with you tonight? Did McGonagall do sothing hard for your detention?" Lucifer asked Hermione, with a startled expression.
"N-no, I'm just tired...ouaaah,” Hermione gave a clear fake yawn, while running off to the girls dorms.

Next morning, was their last day of no classes before the new week started, and the rain was still pounding the windows and the morning was bleak from it being darker than usual from the storm clouds overhead.
And, Lucifer caught the sight of Hermione ducking under the Breakfast table, “What are you doing?” he asked, raising his eyebrows.
Hermione directly sat up straight with rosey cheeks, “I-I-I dropped my quill,” she gasped out.
"I don't see a quill anywhere, or the reason you need one..." In response, Hermione just laughed nervously, looking down at her plate of barely touched sausages.
"Anyway, how was practise? Did Wood teach you any more moves? If so, can you teach ?" Ron questioned, sounding a little like Colin Creevey.
Speak of the Devil.
"Hiya Harry! That practise was one for the history books, right? I'm so glad I got to watch! I took a picture, you wanna see?!" Colin rushed.
"Hello Colin. Sure... I'm sure whoever invited you should be thanked... and no thanks, I'm good." Harry marked off the questions on his fingers
“Lucifer, he also took yours!” When, Harry saw a chance to escape Colin, he directly threw his friend under the bus.
Colin showed the picture anyway, Hermione looked closely and watched as the mini-Lucifer zood around the pitch.
He noticed her gaze, “You could ride with if you want?" Lucifer offered being a gentle person.
Hermione's eyes widened instantly, “What!?" And, exclaiming out loud.
"What? What did I say?" Lucifer asked, slightly feeling confused.
“Doesn't matter...” Ron went to whisper into Lucifer's ear, “Don't you dare, Ronald, or I swear I will tell your mother you broke your wand!"
Ron imdiately backed away with his hands up.
"I have howork to do anyway..." Ron started to pull out his Potions howork.
Both Hermione and Lucifer had already completed theirs after it was assigned, so he decided to unpack a small mouse toy for his cat, Eve.
"Don't tell you're training her for sothing else." Ron said from across the table, concerned for the safety of his pet rat.
“I would never...” Just as Lucifer was about to ss around with Ron.
A little ways down the table, Fred and George had been doing sothing, but it wasn't easy to tell what.
Lucifer looked and squinted to try and figure it out. They had a Filibuster and so kind of Salamander, and they stuck the fireworks inside it.
When the smoke was seen rising from the Salamander, people began to crowd around them to get a closer look.
Harry looked like he was about to say sothing, but when the Salamander suddenly whizzed into the air, emitting loud sparks and bangs as it whirled wildly around the Great Hall.
The spectacular display of chaos brought Professor McGonagall over and reprimanded them with Twenty Points being taken from Gryffindor.
Dumbledore could also be seen having a laugh.
