Stepping out of the store, both Austin and Nora could see how the streets were filled with all kinds of noise due to today being a busy market day.
They could both see stalls lining the sides of the main street, selling everything from fresh fruits and herbs to leather goods as well.
Cheap jewellery and hot food filled the air with their aromas, making it difficult for anyone not to notice.
The laughter of adults and children alike filled the streets as children darted between adult legs, laughing and chuckling without a care in the world, while vendors called out to passing custors, urging them to co have a bite of what they were selling.
But while all this happened around them, Austin and Nora kept walking with their hands holding firmly to each other.
Of course, Nora noticed this and her grin widened ever so slightly as she stole a peek at her handso hubby, who seed to be looking for a good place for them to spend the day.
She could see that he clearly didn’t mind the fact that the two of them were holding hands right now, and Austin didn’t mind the eyes staring at them either.
Most people staring were humans, who found it strange for him to have a close relationship with a demihuman.
The sa went for any demihuman passing by, as they too found it strange to see the two being so close to each other.
Most humans and demihumans preferred to openly have relationships with their own kind rather than being with a different species.
Of course, there had been reports of rich and perverted individuals keeping demihuman slaves from other nations for their own personal, immoral desires, but those were always kept indoors, away from where others could see.
But Austin and Nora were different from those people, and this left a lot of people confused as they simply passed by before minding their own business.
"Oh, let’s see what that guy is selling over there." Austin suggested as he noticed sothing that might be of interest to his cute and beautiful wolfkin.
Since he was in a dieval era, there weren’t really a lot of things around that Austin found exciting, like amusent parks and zoos.
Actually, it seed like there were so strange and rich individuals in other kingdoms who had a habit of keeping their own nageries, but aside from that, there really weren’t any good sites where Austin could spend a really good ti with Nora.
However, Austin was determined not to let that ruin his precious mont with his cute wolfkin, and that’s why he had been looking around for anything interesting to do or buy.
"Oh, custors!! Please have a look at what might be of interest to you." The vendor noticed the couple and called out as Austin and Nora walked closer to the stall, which was selling small handcrafted hair accessories, along with delicate pins and combs decorated with colourful stones and tiny carved flowers.
Austin looked through them for a mont before picking up a slim silver pin with a small pale blue stone at its tip.
He turned to Nora and without asking for her permission, he reached up to tuck it carefully into her white hair just below her left ear.
Once done, Austin stepped back and looked at her. "Beautiful." He said, and the female vendor nodded in agreent.
Seeing the beautiful wolfkin whose silver hair covered the left side of her face, even the vendor couldn’t help but admit how stunning she looked right now.
anwhile, Nora reached up slowly to touch it with her fingertips.
She wanted to open her mouth to tell him that he didn’t have to buy her anything right now, but seeing how happy Austin looked made her swallow her words.
After all, Austin’s brown hair, green eyes, and handso features made it impossible for Nora to think straight in situations like this, and it was her hubby’s fault for being too good-looking.
"Thank you." Nora muttered softly as she tried not to make eye contact with him.
"You’re welco." Austin replied before paying the vendor, who was now sad to see them go.
She had hoped they would buy more, but it seed like they were in a hurry to go sowhere else, so she didn’t bother trying to stop them.
Moving on, Austin and Nora finally arrived at a food stall.
"Oh, friends, please co and try our speciality al. It’s the best here in Tarot Town and I promise you, if you take a bite, you won’t want to try this at anywhere else in the kingdom." The vendor praised his establishnt, but Austin didn’t really pay too much attention to him.
The only thing that had attracted him here in the first place was the sweet aroma of the skewered at the vendor was selling, so Austin hoped it would be good enough to impress Nora.
As they got closer, both could now see the skewered at glazed in a sweet and smoky sauce that slled absolutely incredible, and now even Nora’s tail couldn’t help but wag in excitent.
Oh, and let it be known that Austin had definitely fallen in love with Nora’s tail by now, because since he had arrived in this world, Nora’s tail had been a consistent guide, helping him understand how to make his beautiful wife happy.
This was because even before they had arrived at this stall, Austin had noticed Nora’s cute nose twitching a few tis, then noticed her excited tail wagging behind her.
It took a while to understand the reasoning behind it, but the mont he realised it had to do with the sweet aroma coming from here, Austin instantly pulled his cute wolfkin over to grab a bite.
"Here, friends. Try a bite. You’ll love it." The vendor gestured, and Nora stared at her hubby, hoping he would agree, and Austin nodded in response.
Seeing his approval, Nora smiled even more and watched as Austin grabbed two skewers from the vendor before offering her one.
"Mmm~" Nora moaned softly as the tender at lted instantly on her taste buds, making her so happy as she took even more bites.
"It’s good?" Austin asked.
"It’s delicious." Nora replied, and the vendor chuckled happily. "Hehehe.... I told you you’d love it." He rubbed his nose happily as he grabbed a few more for them.
