Arrie opened her mouth to speak, under the gazes of everyone in the room.

" She needs to die" Her voice was cold, tinged with pain .

Before anyone had the chance to register her words or even had the chance to ask her how sure she was about killing the woman, she voiced.

" She’s not my mother.Motherhood is not just a term for soone who biologically conceived you, it’s a term that embodies soone who is warm, sweet ,caring,and can go all the way to sacrifice anything for you even if it will cost them a lot in the end" Arrie stared at Helena as she spoke, causing a warm expression to grace Helena and everyone’s features as she spoke.

Phila,being a mother herself could relate. There was nothing she wouldn’t do to make her daughter happy .

Kailen rembered how his mother felt when he was sick sotis. She’d be so worried about him.

She’d make soup for him, rush him to the hosptal, constantly stay by his side with his father.

When he went to school,she’d prepare als for him even if she had a tired expression on her face.

She was literally just like Arrie had described a mother to be .

Charles also nodded.Jane had been the best thing that ever happened to him. In the absence of his father who he had co to recently find out was so psycopath who deserved to be dead , hus mom had been everything to him.

However ,the woman before them, strapped to a chair, Zoey, was nothing like Arrie had described.

She was no mother. She was a broken, cynic ,decripit shell of a person who didn’t have any iota of conscience .

A tallic needle hovered before Arrie for a few seconds, then shot towards the head of Zoey.

Arrie gave Zoey an unblinking stare as the woman attempted to scream for rcy .

However before she even had the chance to open her mouth, the needle pierced through her head and appeared at the back of her head as blood splurged out of her mouth and her face assud a lifeless disposition as her her head dropped forward.

Zoey was dead.

Kailen,currently seated on the beach with Arrie whiles they held hands , this mory of 3 days ago having flashed through his mind , caused him to stare at the quiet Arrie for a few seconds before he sighed.

" Babe, how you holding up"

Arrie sighed ,then turned to look at Kailen with a sullen expression.

" To be honest Kai, I don’t feel sad that she’s dead,or guilty that I killed her. She had to die and I wanted to be the one to do it to her. Every thing in scread to let her live probably because of a biological connection , but I couldn’t bring myself to do that . She was not just a woman who had abandoned and whose decision put through years of abuse of suffering , she was an accomplice to a man who had hard the federation, and a man whose actions had ended up killing your parents and unborn sister. How could I live with myself if I let her live. Kailen, apart from Helena and old man Donalds, yes I have friends now,Micheal and Charles and the others but apart from Helena and Old Man Donalds you are my only family, and I would not know how to live with myself if I had let soone like that live. How could I even face you. How could I have even visited your parents grave with you and face them?"

Kailen listened to her silently waves of emotions blanketing him.

Arrie continued " It’s just that ,the thought of soone abandoning , it’s a little bit depressing. But I guess I’m being stupid. I have people who love now!. And I love myself!. So yeah babe, I’m fine now. I should stop being a bumr and-"

Before she realized, Kailen’s lips were on her own.

" What did I do to deserve you?" Kailen spoke with gratefulness.Arrie had considered how he would feel ,solely making the decision to kill Zoey because of how her being alive would have made Kailen felt.

Sure, Kailen would have respected Arrie’s wish to keep the woman alive ,possibly to rot in so prison cell if possible for the rest of her life.

However there was no doubt it would have definitely so sort of strain on their relationship in the end even if Kailen refused to admit it.

" Well look what we have here. You guys should get a room or sothing"

Kailen and Arrie were short of words.

To think these guys had been spying on them.

The duo stood up from the beach sand and when everyone noticed that Arrie had regained her usual bubly deanor ,they gave Kailen a thumbs up for helping her lighten up .

" Charles " Kailen gestured for Charles to co over as he told Arrie to excuse them .

Arrie bolted towards little Felicia who at the mont was building a sand castle.

" What you building Felicia?"

" Auntie, when are you and Uncle getting married ?"

Everyone laughed after overhearing the outco of their exchange .

" To be honest, I’m better than before. Finding out the dad you never knew ,the one everyone made out to be so aweso dude was actually so psycopathic shit kinda hits hard and wrecks you in everyway but I’m doing better now. Charles asked, slumping into the beach sand.

The duo chuckled for a while ,until silence rained between them.

" Kailen , you guys should co over,we have an announcent" Helena and Donalds called Kailen and Charles to co over.

When they arrived at where everyone had gathered, Helena and Donalds were holding hands.

" We are getting married two weeks from now "

Everyone was silent for a few seconds until ,booom.

" Yayyyyy... Ive got a dad now !. See Kai, you slowpoke, they beat us to it" Arrie pouted .

" Errm guys how about we hold a joint wedding?"

Angela and Lee chid in..

" You guys are getting married too?"

Kailen and Arrie whispered to one another" What are we gonna do about our wedding?"

" I suppose we have to postpone it till when I’m done taking the universe Alchemy test . Too many weddings consecutively will stress everyone out"

" Yeah, ours should be special . Can’t have a joint wedding with anyone"

It seed Kailen and Arrie had to postpone their wedding because Donalds and Helena and Lee and Angela were planning on getting married on the sa day as a joint wedding ..

Jane blurted out a question on everyone’s minds. The gossip about a certain duo being involved in the past had spread in the social circle . Suddenly boom, they were acting all close again " Speaking of , Reynolds and Kim, care to tell us how you are both glowing so suddenly ? You guys back together or sothing?"
