" Seriously, you really can’t let the matter with the sandwiches go can you?" Kailen sighed and chuckled, finding Arrie’s vengeful attitude funny.

It had been a while since the ti dialtion artifact has spoken to him or replied to any of his attempts at conversation with her.

As if reading his mind,she responded " What?. I’ve been on a vacation. Babysitting you has been stressful you know, I’ve been watching so television in the pocket world. Gotta say you earthlings know how t make good movies. "

"Why should I let it go?" Arrie said " Guy literally bullied over a couple of sandwitches, saying that he was older than and deserved better treatnt" Arrie snorted further ,her action causing everyone to gasp in disbelief.

Surprisingly, the mother and daughter pair had ignored the whole drama,even laughing at Micheal’s "hellish" experience.

" You guys are the worst " Micheal sighed as he chuckled . His expression finally turned serious as he answered Charles’ and Arrie’s question seriously

" Honestly I’m having mixed feelings. When I found out that the heavenly lightning Sect had been destroyed, I kind of felt all the anger bottled up inside for how they treated in the past dissipating" Micheal revealed a solemn expression then continued as his three friends listened to him with rapt attention.

"However when I recall that this was not the end my father wished for the sect if he were alive , I also felt sad. Perhaps ,sowhere deep down in my heart ,maybe I would have spared them if I decided to confront them in the future? Or maybe I would have decided to raze the sect to the ground?. Honestly I don’t know. But what I can say is that it’s all good. It’s quite unpredictable though.I wanted revenge against them so badly , but I wasn’t even the one to execute it, hehe" Micheal chuckled derisively as he spoke.

" It’s alright old man. We are here for you" Charles spoke comfortingly.

" Don’t worry . I’m not sad or anything. There’s no need to be so worried about . It’s just that life can be really unpredictable, don’t you think guys?"

Micheal added.

Kailen chid in as he stretched " It sure is . You know, at the beginning of my awakener’s journey all I felt was hatred for diabolic beasts and a desire for revenge for the death of my parents. I had no intention to have friends ,neither did I even have the intention to have a partner. Unpredictable how life can be right ?" Kailen said . Everyone knew he wasn’t done talking so they listened as Charles passed round of snacks around .

"Now that I think about it, I never envisioned a world where diabolic beasts would be under mankind’s control. I simply wanted to terrorise diabolic beasts, by that ,I an if possible wipe them off from the face of the planet, or attempt to, until I felt the anger I felt for the death of my parents completely appeased. But to think I’d be at a place where I’d be responsible for helping engineer devices that could bring them under mankind’s control, and in the end losing that obsession to wipe them off the face of the planet without realizing it "

Arrie made chewing sounds which everyone had practically grown accustod to as she said in between her chewing " You know Kai , In my opinion, finding people you cared about and wanted to protect helped you to channel that obsession well. You didn’t lose it. You only channeled it ingeniously. At the end of the day, you still gave those beasts a taste of their own dicine. The Achilles forest has beco a tourist site because of the catastrophe you weaved on that day. " Fair point" Kailen nodded in agreent,not dwelling much on the subject .

Charles and Micheal nodded in agreent, their mouths full with snacks.
